This paper proposes an observer-based controller to stabilize Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy models with unknown inputs, in which the unknown inputs need not satisfy the so-called observer matching condition. Firstly, an unknown input observer (UIO) is constructed to estimate the system states and unknown inputs, the observer gains are given in linear matrix inequality (LMI) terms. The controller is then developed under the framework of backstepping design, and a first-order filter is employed in each step of the recursive structure. The system stability is investigated based on the Lyapunov theory, and uniform boundedness property of the closed loop system is achieved. Finally, numerical simulation results are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

The PID neural network was introduced into the control of the robot for image-based binocular visual servo control system with hand-eye model, and a controller was designed which combined the PI motion controller with the PID neural network controller in this paper. PI motion controller gives the desired velocity of the robot joints based on the image errors, and obtains the joint torque from the neural network PID controller. And the torque drives the robot reaching a desired position and orientation. The Lyapunov theory is used to prove asymptotic stability of the PI motion controller. And we compared the tracking performance of BP neural network with PID neural network. Simulation results show the effectiveness of this method.

The creep characterization of paste cementing body (PCB) directly affects the filling performance and production safety of a coal mine. In order to break the limitation of the typical Burgers creep model that only describes the viscoelastic law of material before its third-stage creep, after examining a visco-elastic-plastic model for PCB, an improved Burgers creep model that can simulates the visco-elastic-plastic deviators and elastic-plastic volume behaviour of a PCB is built based on the Mohr-Coulomb criterion by introducing a plastic body into the Burgers creep constitutive equation;the consequent creep constitutive relationship is derived;the model parameters are determined;and the corresponding data processing program is produced. Fitting of the model parameters into the model shows good agreement between the calculated creep curve and test creep curve, suggesting that this model well describes the creep characteristics of a PCB.
