Mass spectrometry serves as a pivotal tool for the analysis of small molecules through an examination of their mass-to-charge ratios. Recent advancements in deep learning have markedly enhanced the analysis of mass spectrometric data, facilitating the prediction of novel small molecule structures without the necessity of extensive databases. Nonetheless, the paucity of annotated datasets impedes the efficacious training of molecular generation models predicated on MS2 spectra. To mitigate this limitation, we introduce ctMSNovelist, an avant-garde method that amalgamates pre-training, fine-tuning, and co-training techniques to construct a more precise model for the generation of molecular structures from tandem mass spectrometry data. This novel approach augments both the training regimen and the predictive accuracy of the MSNovelist model, thereby surmounting the obstacle of limited data. The methodology commences with the pretraining of a Variational Autoencoder (VAE) to generate molecular fingerprints derived from SMILES strings. Subsequently, it undergoes fine-tuning to emulate noisy fingerprints originating from mass spectrometry (MS) data. Concurrently, MSNovelist is co-trained utilizing these simulated fingerprints, inclusive of the highly noisy variants produced in the early stages of VAE training. The incorporation of a substantial volume of noisy data serves to enhance model accuracy and avert overfitting. We evaluated ctMSNovelist using the GNPS dataset and attained a SMILES prediction accuracy of 48.8%, representing a 4.1% enhancement over MSNovelist. It is pertinent to note that the sole distinction between ctMSNovelist and MSNovelist in this experiment was the training process. Robust Hashing with Deep Features and Meixner Moments for Image Copy Detection

Copy detection is a key task of image copyright protection. Most robust hashing schemes do not make satisfied performance of image copy detection yet. To address this, a robust hashing scheme with deep features and Meixner moments is proposed for image copy detection. In the proposed hashing, global deep features are extracted by applying tensor Singular Value Decomposition (t-SVD) to the three-order tensor constructed in the DWT domain of the feature maps calculated by the pre-trained VGG16. Since the feature maps in the DWT domain are slightly disturbed by digital operations, the constructed three-order tensor is stable and thus the desirable robustness is guaranteed. Moreover, since t-SVD can decompose a three-order tensor into multiple low-dimensional matrices reflecting intrinsic structure, the global deep feature calculation from the low-dimensional matrices can provide good discrimination. Local features are calculated by the block-based Meixner moments. As the Meixner moments are resistant to geometric transformation and can efficiently discriminate various images, the use of the block-based Meixner moments can make discriminative and robust local features. Hash is ultimately determined by quantifying and combining global deep features and local features. The results of extensive experiments on open image datasets demonstrate that the proposed robust hashing outperforms some state-of-the-art robust hashing schemes in terms of classification and copy detection performances. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

This paper describes a multi target drug design method based on features of the target proteins. The multi target drug which inhibit multiple proteins have prospective applications, but design is difficult. In this study, the target protein sequences are embedded to obtain target features. The features of each target are independently encoded as target latent vectors, and the features of multiple targets are jointly encoded as target similarity latent vectors. Based on the features of targets and the similarity features among the targets, multi target drugs are efficiently designed. In the experiments, the designed multi target drugs can be docked with target proteins with a proprietary molecular structure according to the requirements of different target pocket structures. The excellent fitness among the molecular structure of multi target drugs and the protein structure of multiple targets confirms the performance of the proposed method. In the molecular docking part of the experi¬ments, the binding affinity of designed multi target drugs is far better than that in the previous studies, which administrates the better performance of this work. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper solves the event-triggered robust consensus problem of disturbed multi-agent systems (MASs) in fully distributed fashion. First, a distributed extended state observer (DESO) is developed for appropriately estimating system states and external disturbances. Then, by utilising these estimates, a fully distributed event-triggering control protocol, that composes of an adaptive distributed controller to avoid using global information while maintaining desired consensus property, and a novel hybrid dynamic event-triggering mechanism (ETM) to save communication resources, is put forward for the MASs. It is notable that an auxiliary differential equation is incorporated in the triggering condition, with which, positive minimum interevent times (MIETs) are available to ease the hardware implementation, while being with adaptive coefficients, the proposed hybrid dynamic ETM can be independent of any global information. Finally, the obtained main results are testified via a numerical example. © 2024 Copyright held by the owner/author(s).

Knowledge Tracing (KT), a technique for modeling students' knowledge levels and predicting their future question-answering performance based on their historical answer data, is one of the key research areas to strengthen the ability of personalized education. In recent years, memory networks have received more and more attention and application in the field of KT, however, the current KT model based on memory networks ignores the effect of students' learning sequence on the level of forgetting, and fails to model the forgetting behavior of students in the process of learning by using the characteristics of time intervals in the interaction data. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a dynamic student classification with forgetting mechanisms on memory networks model (DSCFMN), which enhance the existing model by dynamically classifying students similar to their learning abilities at specified time intervals, incorporating forgetting factors and introducing a weight decay strategy. Experiments show that our model performs well on online education datasets, and the proposed model achieves better prediction results than existing knowledge tracking methods. © 2024 IEEE.

In the research methods of sentence similarity, sentence similarity is often calculated from the semantic aspect, while the influence of syntactic structure is ignored. We propose an enhanced knowledge language representation model (ExtKBRCNN) based on CNN and Bi-GRU, which effectively uses the fine-grained word relations in the knowledge base to evaluate semantic similarity and models the relationship between knowledge structure and text structure. In order to make full use of the syntactic information of the sentence, we also propose a dependency tree kernel-based method (Dep-SIF), which combines syntactic information and semantic features to evaluate syntactic similarity. Finally, we propose a comprehensive model that integrates semantic and syntactic information to comprehensively evaluate sentence similarity. Experimental results show that the accuracy of the model on the MRPC dataset is 77.63% and the F1 value is 83.90%. © 2024 IEEE.

The pursuit of accurate and fluent English communication is the cornerstone of global academic exchange and expression. The accuracy of written English is crucial for effective discourse;however, despite advancements in grammatical error correction (GEC) technology, these systems often fall short when analyzing coherent text. This paper delves into the complexities of English writing and the challenges posed by current GEC systems, advocating for a shift toward understanding document-level context in error correction. We propose a dual-encoder architecture within an encoder-decoder model, referred to as the Context-Aware Grammatical Error Correction (CAGEC) model. The CAGEC model employs an innovative dual-encoder structure, combining the encoder of the Transformer model with a Bi-GRU (Bidirectional Gated Recurrent Unit) neural network, and integrates encoding into the decoder through attention and gating mechanisms to achieve a deep understanding of the source sentence and its context. © 2024 IEEE.

SAR target Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) is indispensable in SAR image interpretation. Recently, deep learning technology has been widely used in SAR target recognition tasks. Most networks achieve incremental improvements in target recognition by modifying their structures to extract visual features of targets. However, due to the unique imaging mechanism, relying solely on visual features often leads to the loss of target information. In contrast, the ASC model, which captures the electromagnetic scattering characteristics of the target, plays a crucial role in target recognition tasks. Unfortunately, traditional parameter estimation methods for extracting the ASC model are computationally expensive and time-consuming, making them impractical for real-world applications. To address these issues, we propose a novel target recognition method based on electromagnetic scattering features in this paper. First, a lightweight network-based feature extraction module is designed. Then, the target ASC image is used as the ground truth for guidance, with image intensity and target structure serving as the loss functions during training. Finally, an ASC model-guided feature fusion network is designed, utilizing the fused features for target recognition. On the MSTAR dataset, a visual assessment experiment demonstrated that the proposed feature extraction module effectively extracts electromagnetic scattering features under various operating conditions. Subsequently, in downstream classification tasks, the inclusion of the proposed module resulted in improved accuracy compared to other networks. Additionally, a visualization analysis of the classification network showed that, under the guidance of electromagnetic scattering features, the network achieved good interpretability. © 2024 IEEE.

With the advancement of remote sensing technology, video satellites have played an increasingly important role in both military and civilian domains, and they are widely used in areas such as military guidance, intelligent transportation, and disaster response. Multi-object tracking (MOT) in satellite video is a crucial research topic in these fields and has made certain progress. However, due to the difficulty of tracking objects in complex scene and low resolution, current MOT methods face issues of low accuracy in satellite video. In this work, we propose a joint-detection-and-tracking method called multi-frame temporal MOT (MFT-MOT). Firstly, a heatmap guided multi-frame temporal modeling method is introduced to extract features with temporal semantic information while suppressing background noise. Then, we utilize a weights-shared encoder-decoder network to facilitate interaction of temporal and spatial information and capture inter-frame object motion tracks at low resolution. Experiments on SAT-MTB dataset shows the effectiveness of our method. © 2024 IEEE.

Recent advancements in learning-based Multi-View Stereo (MVS) methods have prominently featured transformer-based models with attention mechanisms. However, existing approaches have not thoroughly investigated the profound influence of transformers on different MVS modules, resulting in limited depth estimation capabilities. In this paper, we introduce MVSFormer++, a method that prudently maximizes the inherent characteristics of attention to enhance various components of the MVS pipeline. Formally, our approach involves infusing cross-view information into the pre-trained DINOv2 model to facilitate MVS learning. Furthermore, we employ different attention mechanisms for the feature encoder and cost volume regularization, focusing on feature and spatial aggregations respectively. Additionally, we uncover that some design details would substantially impact the performance of transformer modules in MVS, including normalized 3D positional encoding, adaptive attention scaling, and the position of layer normalization. Comprehensive experiments on DTU, Tanks-and-Temples, BlendedMVS, and ETH3D validate the effectiveness of the proposed method. Notably, MVSFormer++ achieves state-of-the-art performance on the challenging DTU and Tanks-and-Temples benchmarks.
