Piezoresistive properties of resonant tunneling diodes

measurement system was designed and established to test the piezoresistive properties of resonant tunneling diodes(RTDs).The current-voltage characteristic shifts of RTD at different stress states were *** experimental results demonstrate that the piezoresistive sensitivity of RTD is larger than 1x10−8 Pa−*** accurately represent the piezoresistive properties of RTD,the current-voltage characteristic coherence of the same RTD was *** to the experimental results,the largest relative resistance shift of an RTD in the same measurement environment is less than 3%,of which 1%is caused by the testing apparatuses.

This article makes a study on optical fiber sensor with metal nanostructure based on the properties of optical fiber sensing technology and the optical performances of metal nanoparticles. Moreover, star-sha ped gold nanoparticles which mean diameter is from 60 to 80 nm were obtained by the Seed-mediated growth method. Then these nanoparticles were used as the sensitive part of the optical fiber sensor and were modified to the tapered fiber surface as a surface Raman enhanced substrate. Finally, transmission spectrum and Raman spectra were carried out in different concentration alcohol solution. The experiments show that the extinction spectra of gold nanoparticles is very sensitive to the dielectric properties of the surrounding medium and the nanoparticles fiber-taper-excited SERS (Surface-enhanced Raman scattering) substrates exhibit a significant enhancement of the Raman spectra. © 2011 IEEE.

To improve the ability of detecting underwater targets under strong wideband interference environment,an efficient method of line spectrum extraction is proposed,which fully utilizes the feature of the target spectrum that the high intense and stable line spectrum is superimposed on the wide continuous *** method modifies the traditional beam forming algorithm by calculating and fusing the beam forming results at multi-frequency band and multi-azimuth interval,showing an excellent way to extract the line spectrum when the interference and the target are not in the same azimuth interval *** efficiency of the estimated azimuth variance and corresponding power of the line spectrum band depends on the line spectra ratio(LSR)of the line *** change laws of the output signal to noise ratio(SNR)with the LSR,the input SNR,the integration time and the filtering bandwidth of different algorithms bring the selection principle of the critical *** the basis,the detection gain of wideband energy integration and the narrowband line spectrum algorithm are theoretically *** simulation detection gain demonstrates a good match with the theoretical *** application conditions of all methods are verified by the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve and experimental data from Qiandao *** fact,combining the two methods for target detection reduces the missed detection *** proposed post-processing method in2-dimension with the Kalman filter in the time dimension and the background equalization algorithm in the azimuth dimension makes use of the strong correlation between adjacent frames,could further remove background fluctuation and improve the display effect.

A new fiber Detonation velocity measuring system is proposed. The fiber is used as the sensor. By using FPGA to process the signals, the measuring precision of this system is enhanced and the system debug is simplified. At the same time, this paper elaborates the system design of the soft hardware and compares the existed instrument measuring Detonation velocity with this system by testing plastic detonating cord. The test demonstrates the advantages of the system such like the resistance electromagnetic interference, the high measuring precision and the simple manipulation. © 2011 IEEE.

The low altitude breakthrough has become an important battle mode of modern war, which brings the huge difficulty for low altitude defense. The microwave technology is an effective method to detect the moving target in the low altitude. Taking the frequency modulation of microwave as basic principle, and combined the Doppler Effect which can measure the velocity information of target, a microwave detecting system based on twice mixing is established. Its composition and working principle are analyzed, and the circuits are designed. The laboratory experiment indicates that it is completely feasible to apply the system to the detection of the moving target. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In this paper, a new kind of data acquisition and processing system of portable photo ionization detect instrument is introduced. Using the fully integrated mixed signal chip C8051F040 as the micro control unit, this system can realize functions of the double range measurement of the data acquisition, the temperature compensation, the digital display and the serial interface for data sending. The design of double range measurement circuit and the design of the temperature compensation circuit are described in detail. This system has many advantages, such as high integration, small in size, low power dissipation, easy operation and wide application scope, etc. © 2010 IEEE.

A new sapphire fiber high temperature sensor sputtered the ceramics film is described. The system includes blackbody sapphire fiber sensor, taper fiber, transmission optical fiber, narrow bandpass filter, integrated photoamplifier and data acquisition device. The working principle, block diagram, static calibration dynamics testing and excremental result are given. The adoption of sapphire fiber makes the measured high temperature up to 2000. The static calibration is performed by comparing the outputs between the calibrated Tungstenrhenium thermocouple and the sapphire fiber sensor, both placed in a stability high temperature field. The dynamics character is done by focusing a CO2 laser with high peak power into the sensor. dynamics respondent curve shows that its respondent time is less than 20 ms, which is suitable for measuring the transient high temperature such as the burning and exploration of powders as well as the firing of engine. Finally, high temperature during the launch of certain rocket is present firstly. © 2010 IEEE.

In this paper, an Inertial navigation system (INS)/Odometer (OD) integrated navigation algorithm based on factor graph is proposed for the vehicle integrated navigation system composed of inertial navigation system and odometer. The difficulties in torque measurement on revolving shaft are signal transmission, limited installation space, poor stability in long-term use and signal disturbance. In order to solve the problems above, an embedded capacitive grating torque sensor and measuring system have been developed. Through installing the capacitive grating sensors on both ends of the revolving shaft, electrodes of capacitive grating can be embedded respectively into the revolving shaft and the fixed support. When the revolving shaft is touched by torque, the capacitive grating outputs the signal of cyclical change. The phase difference between outputs of two capacitive grating sensors shows the size of twist angle. The outputs through the PLL processing in measuring circuit will be signal with the steady frequency and the twist angle can be worked out by it. Then the torque will be calculated by twist angle. The embedded installation of capacitive grating sensor least affects the structure of revolving shaft. Besides, it makes the capacitive grating sensor without the need for slip ring, radio or infrared to transmit signal and power, so it overcomes the shortcomings in installation and the signal being susceptible to interference in the ways above. By means of experiment it is proved that the capacitive grating sensor is highly reliable and can be used under the harsh environmental for a long time. © 2011 IEEE.

In the test system, all kinds of signals need to be processed. In order to meet the need of test system,we propose a kind of method of overall design of the real-time monitoring and storage of analog signal and digital signal. And we descript that how the data is sent to PC to real-time monitor and how we read out the data of the storage, and at the same time, the effect of the real-time monitoring is mentioned. After the application of the practice, the stability and the reliability of the collection system get confirmed.
