In this paper, a novel wideband dual-band magneto-electric dipole antenna with modified feed structure is proposed. Double-layer patches are utilized to design a pair of folding metal. The double-layer patches dipole can generate two resonant frequencies, which are employed to form a dual-band magneto-electric dipole antenna. A stair-shaped feeding strip with a hexagonal structure is designed to modify the impedance matching. It is found from simulated results that two operation bands with bandwidths of 60% from 1.61 to 2.99 GHz and 31.9% from 4.99 to 6.89 GHz under the return loss level of 10 dB were achieved. The gain of the antenna ranged from 7.56 to 10.56 dBi. Furthermore, low cross-polarization level and low back-radiation are also obtained with the proposed antenna.

Converting whisper to normal vocalized speech has been a hot research topic in speech signalprocessing area. A complete and large scale whisper database is a major basis for this task. In this paper, we propose a multimodal whisper database in Chinese mandarin. A total of 103 syllables and 100 sentences were carefully selected. 5 male and 5 female participants pronounced the syllables and sentences in whisper and normal styles respectively, result in 4096 parallel speech utterances and 263, 849 frames of voicing face and lip image sequences. The beginning and ending sample point of each syllable were labeled both for speech signal and voicing face video. The lip region of interest were also extracted and provided in the proposed database. Experiments in various speech conversion tasks in different speech database show the effectiveness of the proposed multimodal whisper speech database.

Owing to OFDM Air Interface in the whole system bandwidth only support one fixed waveform parameter, the sidelobe of rectangular pulse frequency response is bigger and the attenuation is slower, which cause that the OFDM system has a sensitive to partial differential frequency rate, high frequency spectrum leakage and large out-of-band(OOB) interference. Therefore, the conventional OFDM can not adapt to 5 G in rich business scenarios. Thus, the Filtered-OFDM(FOFDM) is proposed as a candidate technique for 5 G high-data rate wireless communication system. In order to achieve better spectrum leakage performance compared with Hamming window in F-OFDM system, this paper proposes a kind filter that uses Nuttall’s Blackman-Harris window in the F-OFDM system, and analyzes the performance of different window functions in the F-OFDM. Simulation results show that the design of F-OFDM is easy to be implemented by Nuttall’s Blackman-Harris window, which has a very low OOB emission with the same bit error rate(BER) performance compared with the F-OFDM that is based on Hamming window and the conventional OFDM.
