For services that have similar functionalities, if they are published by different cloud platforms, it is a challenge to evaluate them, for satisfying different end users' personal preferences. In view of this challenge, a method for web service ranking, named WSRank, is investigated in cloud environment in this paper. It aims at ranking different Web services published by different cloud platforms, taking advantage of Page Rank principle. At last, a case study and experiment are presented to demonstrate the feasibility of the method.

As an important part of artificial intelligence, expert systems have widely used in the field of mechanical fault diagnosis. But with the development of the large data and cloud computing, some systems' hardware scale have inflated, which makes the energy consumption become a problem to be solved in the expert system. However the traditional database system is hard to satisfy the semantics need of the knowledge repository management, and it spends a lot of time and energy to complete the data management and reasoning. For this reason, the paper presents an approach to construct the fault diagnosis system based on semantic networks, and focus on the research of semantic knowledge organization, management, inference mechanism and knowledge acquisition. In the experiments, we built the model of locomotive's diagnosis expert system. Compared with the relationship database, the proposed approach was more accurate and robust than other method.

This paper studied the synchronization of fractional-order chaotic system based on the theory of fractional calculus, and the synchronization between the two identical fractional-order Chen systems is realized after 0.6s by using the active control, and the simulation results verify the effectiveness of the examined method. Furthermore, the control scheme can be used in secure communication via the technology of chaotic masking. Numerical simulations coincide with the theoretical analysis.

This paper investigates how to use diversity introduction methods to enhance the dynamic evolutionary multiobjective optimization algorithms in dealing with dynamic multiobjective optimization problems (DMOPs). Although diversity introduction method is easy used to response to the dynamic change, current diversity introduction methods still have a difficulty in identifying the correct proportion of diversity introduction. To overcome this difficulty, this paper proposes an adaptive diversity introduction (ADI) method. Specifically, the proportion of diversity introduction can be dynamically adjusted rather than being hand designed and fixed in advance. In addition, an adaptive relocation operator is designed to adapt the evolving individuals to the new environmental condition. The effectiveness of the ADI method is validated against various diversity introduction methods upon five DMOPs test problems. The simulation results show that the proposed ADI has better robustness and total performance than other diversity introduction methods.

Contributors have a significant impact on data quality of OpenStreetMap (OSM) because most of them are the non-professional, so clustering analysis of contributors based on different experiences has practical significance. Firstly, this paper obtained 31 behavioural characteristics of contributors from OSM historical data. Then, a weighted principal component analysis (WPCA) method was used to reduce the dimensions of the contributors' behaviour in the selected region. By using an unsupervised prototype-based Gaussian mixture model (GMM) clustering algorithm, contributors with similar contribution attributes in the London area were clustered into four groups. Finally, the characteristics of four different types of contributors are analysed, and two types of experienced and professional contributors are found, who contribute a large amount of high-quality data.

In this paper, we introduce a novel iterative method for finding a series of fixed point and design a steady controllability approach for nonlinear systems by using Firefly algorithm and ELM. First, we construct a fixed-point search model, but it is just only looking for a fixed point. Because of the need of non-linear dynamic systems, we need to find a series of fixed point under certain circumstances. Then, we apply the Firefly Algorithm and ELM to design a steady controllability approach. Finally, we have an example to verify the method we have proposed. Through the method, we get a series of fixed point, which make dynamic Nonlinear Systems or nonlinear circuit is under a relatively stable state.
