In this paper, a modified method for landslide prediction is presented. This method is based on the back propagation neural network(BPNN), and we use the combination of genetic algorithm and simulated annealing algorithm to optimize the weights and biases of the network. The improved BPNN modeling can work out the complex nonlinear relation by learning model and using the present data. This paper demonstrates that the revised BPNN modeling can be used to predict and calculate landslide deformation, quicken the learning speed of network and improve the predicting precision. Applying this thinking and method into research of some landslide in the Three Gorges reservoir, the validity and practical value of this model can be demonstrated. And it also shows that the dynamic prediction of landslide deformation is very crucial.

With more and more attention on the grid current harmonic in recent years, many control schemes of the Pulse Width Modulation Voltage Source Converter (PWM-VSC) have been investigated. Conventional PI controller has shown limitations such as sensitivity to load and system parameter variation. Even the stability of the system can be threatened under a large and sudden load change. In this paper, the practical situation of a VSC for industrial Micro Grid (MG) is considered and an Artificial neural network (ANN) based control method is employed to solve the problem. Meanwhile, an on-line parameter tuning algorithm is introduced for its advantage of self-tuning and system character identification. The proposed control scheme is verified through simulation based on SABER software. The simulation results have shown the advantage of the proposed method and the performance of the parameter tuning session.

To control the mobile robot with the surrounding information is the essential method to realize the intelligence and automatic moving. The vision information is the most important way to perceive the environment for the mobile robot. This paper presents an essential camera calibration technique for mobile robot, which is based on Pioneer II experiment platform. The technique includes transformation of coordinates system for vision system, the model and principle of image formation, camera distortion calibration. Because of non-linear distortion of camera, algorithm with optimizing operators is presented to improve calibration precision. We verify the validity and feasibility of the algorithm through experiment.

To solve the classification problem in data mining, this paper proposes double SMO algorithm based on attributes reduction. Firstly attributes reduction deletes irrelevant attributes (or dimensions) to reduce data amount, consequently the total calculation is reduced, the training speed is fastened and Classification mode is easy to understand. Secondly applying SMO algorithm on the sampling dataset to get the approximate separating hyperplane, and then we obtain all the Support vectors of original dataset. Finally again use SMO algorithm on the support vectors to get the final separating hyperplane. It is shown in the experiments that the algorithm reduces the memory space, effectively avoids the noise points' effect on the final separating hyperplane and the precision of the algorithm is better than Decision Tree, Bayesian and Neural Network.

In this paper, we quote the concept of resistance distance for Pinning control, and discuss the relationship between the upper bound of the minimum eigenvalue of the grounded Laplacian Matrix and the resistance distance of the Pinning control for one single node. Our simulation results in various networks like BA network, ER network, NW network etc. show that the ranking of the minimum eigenvalue of the grounded Laplacian Matrix is highly consistent with the ranking of resistance distance,much better than the degree ranking, which provides us another approach to estimate the node for Pinning control. In the case of controlling multiple(l) nodes, we use the iterative algorithm to calculate the grounded Laplacian Matrix for better combination of the controlled nodes, through which the computation of NP-hard problem of controlling l nodes can be greatly reduced, and the effect of the iterative algorithm are presented by simulation calculations in different networks,and the smaller l the better effect.
