A low-profile, high-gain, wideband circularly polarized folded transmitarray antenna (CPFTA) is proposed, and a polarization-selective linear-to-circular polarization (LP-CP) conversion element is introduced. The CPFTA consists of a linearly polarized (LP) magnetoelectric dipole antenna and a circularly polarized (CP) helical patch antenna. The CPFTA demonstrates excellent performance with a 3dB gain bandwidth of 29.5% and a 3dB axial ratio (AR) bandwidth of 40.9%. © 2024 IEEE.

Characterization of Plotkin-optimal two-weight codes over finite chain rings and related applications

Few-weight codes over finite chain rings are associated with combinatorial objects such as strongly regular graphs (SRGs), strongly walk-regular graphs (SWRGs) and finite geometries, and are also widely used in data storage systems and secret sharing schemes. The first objective of this paper is to characterize all possible parameters of Plotkin-optimal two-homogeneous weight regular projective codes over finite chain rings, as well as their weight distributions. We show the existence of codes with these parameters by constructing an infinite family of two-homogeneous weight codes. The parameters of their Gray images have the same weight distribution as that of the two-weight codes of type SU1 in the sense of Calderbank and Kantor (Bull Lond Math Soc 18: 97-122, 1986). Further, we also construct three-homogeneous weight regular projective codes over finite chain rings combined with some known results. Finally, we study applications of our constructed codes in secret sharing schemes and graph theory. This paper designs a three-stopband ultra-wideband MIMO antenna with high-gain using FR4 as the dielectric substrate. The antenna consists of two horizontally placed semicircle patches with chamfer and slot. By corroding two C-shaped grooves on the semicircular radiation patch and etching two symmetrical C-shaped grooves on both sides of the feeder on the floor, the interference of WiMAX, WLAN and 7.5GHz-X band is blocked. In order to realize the isolation of the dual ports, a groove is made on the defective metal surface and a branch shaped like Chinese character mountain is added. The simulation results show that the working frequency range of the antenna is 2.5-11GHz, and three S11 stopbands higher than −10dB are formed at 3.3-3.8GHz, 5.15-5.825GHz, and 7.1-7.9GHz respectively. Therefore, it has good application prospects in the ultra-wideband field that blocks narrowband communications.

In this paper, a differential bandpass filter (BPF) based on enhanced coupling line structure has been suggested in this study. Two out-of-band transmission zeros are added to the differential mode by loading the coupling line at the output terminal, which raises the rectangular coefficient of the filter. Two common mode transmission zeros in the passband are additionally provided by the open/short stub that is already loaded at the output port. To accommodate the demands of various filter performances, the location of the transmission zeros can be modified by altering the values of the coupling lines' and stubs' impedances. Finally, the passband common mode suppression might be as high as 40 dB.

Capturing the root cause and propagation path of the fault is critical to ensuring the safety and efficiency of industrial processes, especially those that inadequately utilize process knowledge and data. To address this issue, a unified framework integrating knowledge and data for collaborative root cause identification is proposed. First, the knowledge causal graph (KCG) is constructed using expert knowledge and industrial flow charts, providing a preliminary reference for subsequent causality analysis. Next, by replacing the traditional vector autoregression (VAR) model in Granger Causality (GC) with the gated recurrent unit (GRU), a more reliable causal relationship between variables is obtained. Additionally, a causality fusion propagation path identification method (CF-PPI) is designed to identify the root cause and propagation path of the fault, so that the obtained fault propagation path has less redundancy and higher accuracy. Finally, the method is validated using data from the ASHRAE RP-1043 centrifugal chiller.

A wideband high isolation circularly polarized antenna for 5G MIMO millimeter-wave systems is presented in this paper. The presented antenna exhibits wideband characteristics due to the resonance of surface waves along the metasurface. The circularly polarized preliminary bandwidth is achieved by truncated corner patches when the truncation can be adjusted to implement the phase and amplitude values of the two quadrature modes. The port isolation is improved by the resonance of double-layer microstrip lines in the frequency. The size of the antenna is 17.8×17.8×1.02 mm 3 , the impedance bandwidth is 30.4% (23.29-31.66 GHz) and the 3-dB axial ratio bandwidth is 20.5% (24.47-30.12 GHz). In addition, the port isolation of the presented antenna is higher than 25 dB, and the peak gain is 8.4 dB. Therefore, the given antenna has the advantages of wideband, circularly polarized and high isolation.

Remote Sensing Image Segmentation Using Vision Mamba and Multi-Scale Multi-Frequency Feature Fusion

As remote sensing imaging technology continues to advance and evolve, processing high-resolution and diversified satellite imagery to improve segmentation accuracy and enhance interpretation efficiency emerg as a pivotal area of investigation within the realm of remote sensing. Although segmentation algorithms based on CNNs and Transformers achieve significant progress in performance, balancing segmentation accuracy and computational complexity remains challenging, limiting their wide application in practical tasks. To address this, this paper introduces state space model (SSM) and proposes a novel hybrid semantic segmentation network based on vision Mamba (CVMH-UNet). This method designs a cross-scanning visual state space block (CVSSBlock) that uses cross 2D scanning (CS2D) to fully capture global information from multiple directions, while by incorporating convolutional neural network branches to overcome the constraints of Vision Mamba (VMamba) in acquiring local information, this approach facilitates a comprehensive analysis of both global and local features. Furthermore, to address the issue of limited discriminative power and the difficulty in achieving detailed fusion with direct skip connections, a multi-frequency multi-scale feature fusion block (MFMSBlock) is designed. This module introduces multi-frequency information through 2D discrete cosine transform (2D DCT) to enhance information utilization and provides additional scale local detail information through point-wise convolution branches. Finally, it aggregates multi-scale information along the channel dimension, achieving refined feature fusion. Findings from experiments conducted on renowned datasets of remote sensing imagery demonstrate that proposed CVMH-UNet achieves superior segmentation performance while maintaining low computational complexity, outperforming surpassing current leading-edge segmentation algorithms. Dynamic Quality of Service(QoS)prediction for services is currently a hot topic and a challenge for research in the fields of service recommendation and *** paper addresses the problem with a Time-aWare service Quality Prediction method(named TWQP),a two-phase approach with one phase based on historical time slices and one on the current time *** the first phase,if the user had invoked the service in a previous time slice,the QoS value for the user calling the service on the next time slice is predicted on the basis of the historical QoS data;if the user had not invoked the service in a previous time slice,then the Covering Algorithm(CA)is applied to predict the missing *** the second phase,we predict the missing values for the current time slice according to the results of the previous phase.A large number of experiments on a real-world dataset,WS-Dream,show that,when compared with the classical QoS prediction algorithms,our proposed method greatly improves the prediction accuracy.

HRTransNet: HRFormer-Driven Two-Modality Salient Object Detection

The High-Resolution Transformer (HRFormer) can maintain high-resolution representation and share global receptive fields. It is friendly towards salient object detection (SOD) in which the input and output have the same resolution. However, two critical problems need to be solved for two-modality SOD. One problem is two-modality fusion. The other problem is the HRFormer output’s fusion. To address the first problem, a supplementary modality is injected into the primary modality by using global optimization and an attention mechanism to select and purify the modality at the input level. To solve the second problem, a dual-direction short connection fusion module is used to optimize the output features of HRFormer, thereby enhancing the detailed representation of objects at the output level. The proposed model, named HRTransNet, first introduces an auxiliary stream for feature extraction of supplementary modality. Then, features are injected into the primary modality at the beginning of each multi-resolution branch. Next, HRFormer is applied to achieve forwarding propagation. Finally, all the output features with different resolutions are aggregated by intra-feature and inter-feature interactive transformers. We study the codes of the title by the CRT method, that decomposes such codes into constituent codes, which are shorter codes over larger alphabets. Criteria on these constituent codes for self-duality and linear complementary duality of the decomposed codes are derived. The special class of the one-generator codes is given a polynomial representation and exactly enumerated. In particular, we present some illustrative examples of binary optimal linear codes with respect to the Griesmer bound derived from the $\mathbb {Z}_{2} \mathbb {Z}_{4}$ -additive quasi-cyclic codes. © 1963-2012 IEEE.
