Security analysis and secured access design for networks of image remote sensing

The secured access is studied in this paper for the network of the image remote *** sensor in this network encounters the information security when uploading information of the images wirelessly from the sensor to the central collection *** order to enhance the sensing quality for the remote uploading,the passive reflection surface technique is *** one eavesdropper that exists nearby this sensor is keeping on accessing the same networks,he may receive the same image from this *** goal in this paper is to improve the SNR of legitimate collection unit while cut down the SNR of the eavesdropper as much as possible by adaptively adjust the uploading power from this sensor to enhance the security of the remote sensing *** order to achieve this goal,the secured energy efficiency performance is theoretically analyzed with respect to the number of the passive reflection elements by calculating the instantaneous performance over the channel fading *** on this theoretical result,the secured access is formulated as a mathematical optimization problem by adjusting the sensor uploading power as the unknown variables with the objective of the energy efficiency maximization while satisfying any required maximum data rate of the eavesdropper ***,the analytical expression is theoretically derived for the optimum uploading *** simulations verify the design approach.

In the context of smart city development, mobile sensing emerges as a cost-effective alternative to fixed sensing for on-street parking detection. However, its practicality is often challenged by the inherent accuracy limitations arising from detection intervals. This article introduces a novel dynamic gap reduction algorithm (DGRA), which is a crowdsensing-based approach aimed at addressing this question through parking detection data collected by sensors on moving vehicles. The algorithm’s efficacy is validated through real drive tests and simulations. We also present a driver-side and traffic-based evaluation model (DSTBM), which incorporates drivers’ parking decisions and traffic conditions to evaluate DGRA’s performance. Results highlight DGRA’s significant potential in reducing the mobile sensing accuracy gap, marking a step forward in efficient urban parking management. © 2014 IEEE.

The advancement of the Industry 5.0 in information technology has led to increased interest in integrating edge-cloud cooperation with Internet of Things (IoT) and cyber-physical system (CPS) designs. This integration effectively reduces service delays and provides real-time analysis feedback to physical spaces, attracting attention from both academia and industry. These advanced technologies enhance production system intelligence, their alignment with circular economy principles for promoting sustainability has been overlooked. To address this gap, this article proposes an intelligent sustainability evaluation strategy driven by edge-cloud cooperation, IoT, and CPS. The proposed approach aims to enhance production sustainability and intelligence through circular economy perspectives. It introduces improved gray relation analysis and deep clustering network techniques to extract meaningful insights from diverse indicators within the evaluation system. By analyzing relationships between different equipment and workshops, it provides an analytical method that enhances production efficiency while reducing energy consumption and resource waste. To further validate the proposed method, an illustrative example using a partner company’s production data demonstrates its accuracy. © 2014 IEEE.

With the extensive use of large language models, automatically generating QA datasets for domain-specific fine-tuning has become crucial. However, considering the multifaceted demands for readability, diversity, and comprehensiveness of QA data, current methodologies fall short in producing high-quality QA datasets. Moreover, the dependence of existing evaluation metrics on ground truth labels further exacerbates the challenges associated with the selection of QA data. In this paper, we introduce a novel method for QA data generation, denoted as MDPO. We proposes a set of unsupervised evaluation metrics for QA data, enabling multidimensional assessment based on the relationships among context,question and answer. Furthermore, leveraging these metrics, we implement a customized direct preference optimization process that guides large language models to produce high-quality and domain-specific QA pairs. Empirical results on public datasets indicate that MDPO's performance substantially surpasses that of state-of-the-art methods. © 2025 Association for Computational Linguistics.

Dynamic graph-based graph attention network for anomaly detection in industrial multivariate time series data

For industrial big data, anomaly detection for multivariate time series data is of critical strategic significance. However, the complexity of industrial equipment and production processes, combined with the high dimensionality of production data, makes it challenging for traditional anomaly detection methods to effectively capture the complex interdependencies and dynamic evolutionary relationships among multiple variables. Additionally, issues such as unstable data distributions, variability, and data drift exacerbate the challenges faced by anomaly detection methods in industrial data analysis and decision-making. This study presents a dynamic graph-based graph attention network for anomaly detection in a multivariate time series data (D-GATAD) model, introducing an innovative approach to dynamic graph construction. The proposed method seamlessly integrates node content features with graph topological structure information, enabling adaptive construction of dynamic graphs based on the current sensor network structure. This design allows for precise modeling of the complex temporal dependencies between variables. Furthermore, the method incorporates an optimized prediction-based model design that organically combines embedding vectors with node data, thereby significantly enhancing the interpretability of the analytical results. Experimental evaluations demonstrate that the proposed method outperforms existing state-of-the-art models across multiple public benchmark datasets. Notably, on the highly complex WADI dataset, it achieves a 5.12% improvement in the AUC score, underscoring its robustness and effectiveness in industrial anomaly detection. This research offers an innovative and widely applicable solution for industrial data analysis and anomaly detection, with significant implications for practical deployment. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer science+Business Media, LLC, part of Springer Nature 2025.

Federated learning combines with fog computing to transform data sharing into model sharing, which solves the issues of data isolation and privacy disclosure in fog computing. However, existing studies focus on centralized single-layer aggregation federated learning architecture, which lack the consideration of cross-domain and asynchronous robustness of federated learning, and rarely integrate verification mechanisms from the perspective of incentives. To address the above challenges, we propose a Blockchain and Signcryption enabled Asynchronous Federated Learning (BSAFL) framework based on dual aggregation for cross-domain scenarios. In particular, we first design two types of signcryption schemes to secure the interaction and access control of collaborative learning between domains. Second, we construct a differential privacy approach that adaptively adjusts privacy budgets to ensure data privacy and local models' availability of intra-domain user. Furthermore, we propose an asynchronous aggregation solution that incorporates consensus verification and elastic participation using blockchain. Finally, security analysis demonstrates the security and privacy effectiveness of BSAFL, and the evaluation on real datasets further validates the high model accuracy and performance of BSAFL. © 2024 Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications

AMHF-TP: Multifunctional therapeutic peptides prediction based on multi-granularity hierarchical features

Multifunctional therapeutic peptides(MFTP) hold immense potential in diverse therapeutic contexts, yet their prediction and identification remain challenging due to the limitations of traditional methodologies, such as extensive training durations, limited sample sizes, and inadequate generalization capabilities. To address these issues, we present AMHF-TP, an advanced method for MFTP recognition that utilizes attention mechanisms and multi-granularity hierarchical features to enhance performance. The AMHF-TP is composed of four key components: a migration learning module that leverages pretrained models to extract atomic compositional features of MFTP sequences; a convolutional neural network and selfattention module that refine feature extraction from amino acid sequences and their secondary structures; a hypergraph module that constructs a hypergraph for complex similarity representation between MFTP sequences; and a hierarchical feature extraction module that integrates multimodal peptide sequence features. Compared with leading methods,the proposed AMHF-TP demonstrates superior precision, accuracy, and coverage, underscoring its effectiveness and robustness in MFTP recognition. The comparative analysis of separate hierarchical models and the combined model, as well as with five contemporary models, reveals AMHF-TP's exceptional performance and stability in recognition tasks.

In MILCOM 2015,Kelly et *** the authentication encryption algorithm MK-3,which applied the 16-bit *** paper aims to implement the 16-bit S-box with less circuit ***,we classifed the irreducible polynomials over F_(2n)into three *** we compared the logic gates required for multiplication over the fnite feld constructed by the three types of irreducible *** to the comparison result,we constructed the composite felds, F_((2^(4))^(2))and F_((2^(8))^(2)).Based on the isomorphism of fnite felds,the operations over F_(2)^(16)can be conducted over F_((2^(8))^(2)).Similarly,elements over F28 can be mapped to the corresponding elements over F_((2^(4)))^(2).Next,the SAT solver was used to optimize the operations over smaller feld F_(2)^(4).At last,the architecture of the optimized MK-3 S-box was worked *** with the implementation proposed by the original designer,the circuit area of the MK-3 S-box in this paper is reduced by at least 55.9%.

Spatiotemporal characteristics and dynamic prediction of agricultural carbon compensation potential in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River Basin

Climate change, driven by carbon emissions, has emerged as a pressing global ecological and environmental challenge. Here, we leverage the panel data of five provinces and above prefecture-level cities in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River Basin to estimate the agricultural carbon emissions (CEs), carbon sinks (CSs), carbon compensation rate (CCR), and carbon compensation potential (CCP) from 2001 to 2022 and investigate the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics for this region. We propose an improved GLM-stacking ensemble learning method for CE prediction with limited sample data. The findings indicate the following: (i) From 2001 to 2022, the overall CEs show a trend of "development - decline - stabilization" and reach a peak of 172.54 Mt in 2005. CCR first exceeded the "CCR = 1" in 2008, which also indicates that reducing CEs and increasing CSs are the paths to achieving agricultural carbon neutrality. (ii) Although each province has achieved "net-zero emissions," the CCP of most urban agglomerations is about 0.5 and shows a certain agglomeration trend, indicating significant room for further carbon offset. (iii) The novel GLM-stacking model has higher prediction accuracy when compared to a single model. These findings provide scientific and technological support to realize the provincial dual carbon goals in China. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2025.
