As a small inertia system, DC microgrid has poor anti-interference ability. When disturbance occurs, the bus voltage is difficult to maintain stability. In order to improve this shortcoming, a coordinated control strategy for hybrid energy storage of DC microgrid based on virtual inertia is proposed. Based on the complementary advantages of hybrid energy storage, this strategy introduces the virtual inertia control at the converter side of the battery, connecting the DC bus voltage with the control coefficient in the converter, so that it can provide the corresponding inertia for the system according to the voltage fluctuation, so as to improve the weak grid characteristics of the DC microgrid. The simulation model of DC microgrid system is established based on Matlab. The simulation results verify that the proposed control strategy can effectively suppress voltage fluctuation when the system power is unbalanced, which can achieving the purpose of improving the quality of the DC bus voltage. © 2022 IEEE.

Voltage-source converter (VSC) is crucial in renewable power generation. However, grid seriously affects the stability of VSC. The synchronization stability has attained lots of attention in recent years. Researches on synchronization stability mostly focuses on small-signal stability. However, small-signal stability analysis loses its effectiveness for the system with large disturbance, such as grid fault, abrupt weather change, etc. This paper aims to establish the Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy model to analyze the large signal stability of VSC synchronization control by Lyapunov function. The boundary state space and the corresponding membership function are obtained by controlling the original nonlinear model in the sector interval. The influence of system parameters on synchronization stability is analyzed based on Lyapunov function and the domain of attraction (DOA). Finally, the correctness of the model and the stability analysis is verified by Matlab simulations. © 2022 IEEE.

In some specific areas, high-voltage and multiple ports output are required to supply power at the same time. Multi-output converter is widely used in practical applications because of its advantages of simple circuit, high dependability and low cost. However, there is a problem of cross adjustment rate. In order to fundamentally solve the cross adjustment rate of the multi-output converter, a new multi-output converter is proposed. The magnetic decoupling transformer (MDT) is used to remove the coupling between each output, so that each output can be controlled separately. Finally, the integrated magnetic model is built in Simulink and maxwell for simulation verification. The simulation results verify the correctness and effectiveness of the method. © 2023 IEEE.

Green Vehicle Routing Problem (GVRP) is a hot topic in the field of combinatorial optimization. In this paper, Multi-Objective Heterogeneous Green Vehicle Routing Problem with Customer Service Constraints (MOHGVRP-CSC) is proposed for the first time, and an integer planning model is established with three objectives to minimize the total traveling costs of vehicles, Carbon Emission cost and Customer Satisfaction cost. Then, a Hybrid Variable Neighborhood Search (HVNS) with hierarchical clustering and Brain Storm Optimization (BSO) is proposed. At the initial stage of the algorithm, the initial solution is constructed by hierarchical clustering algorithm and greedy algorithm. In addition, BSO is introduced into the global search of VNS to obtain a wider range of neighborhood searches. At the same time, 2-opt method is adopted in the local search to further improve the solution quality. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by a large number of experimental simulations. © 2023 IEEE.

A Wide Input Five-Level Inverter With Hybrid PWM-SPWM Modulation

Nonisolated inverters have the advantages of high power density, high efficiency, and low cost. However, the traditional nonisolated full-bridge inverter has an output AC voltage amplification lower than the DC input voltage and suffers from leakage current problem. To address this problem, a nonisolated five-level inverter with boost function is proposed in this paper. The inverter has the following features: (1) The leakage current can be theoretically eliminated due to the inherent common ground between the input and the output. (2) Due to the embedded switched capacitor circuits in the full-bridge inverter, the proposed inverter achieves a higher voltage gain and is suitable for the applications with a lower dc input voltage. (3) A hybrid modulation strategy has been introduced for the proposed inverter, which ensures the continuity of the input currents and reduces the ripple of the input current when the DC input power is superimposed. The working principle, modulation strategy, and power loss of the proposed inverter are analyzed in detail. The experimental results verify the feasibility of the theoretical analysis and the excellent performance of the proposed inverter. © 2025 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

DC microgrids in general consist of multiple heterogeneous units, including distributed energy resources (DERs), energy storage systems (ESSs), and local loads. Due to the high penetration of DERs and high adoption of power electronic converters, DC microgrids behave as weak grids with low inertia and high output impedance. Small-signal stability is therefore highly critical to DC microgrids. The impedance-based tools are widely accepted for small-signal stability analysis. However, the bus impedance characteristics of DC microgrids remains an open research topic, especially with the background of distributed hierarchical control scheme. This work focuses on the modeling of small-signal impedance for DC microgrids with distributed hierarchical control, and the effects of the control and time-delays will be revealed. The derived small-signal impedance models are validated by both simulations and experimental results.

In this paper,a novel method for shock-free soft-start is *** novel method can realize the aim of no-overshoot and inrush of current during the entire soft-start process,thus the start process is safe,stable,and *** the uncontrolled rectification stage ends,a sinusoidal signal synchronized with the grid voltage is generated through dq coordinate transformation and D-axis orientation,then the signal is transmitted to the three-phase inverter *** AC voltage output of the inverter bridge is superimposed on both ends of the soft-start resistor along with the *** open-loop control method is adopted to gradually reduce the modulation ratio of the sinusoidal PWM wave until the capacitor voltage on the DC side reaches the rated voltage value,then the soft-start resistor is removed,which means the shock-free soft-start process is *** results prove the effectiveness and feasibility of the control strategy proposed in this paper.

Fundamental study on smart eddy current testing for identification of crack orientation by controlling electromagnetic field using electrically anisotropic plate

This work proposes a smart eddy current testing (ET) method for identifying crack orientation by introducing an additional electrically anisotropic plate. The key idea of the proposed approach is to insert the anisotropic plate between an eddy current (EC) probe and a test piece for controlling the electromagnetic field. Distribution of the space magnetic field and induced current density was numerically investigated. The simulation results showed that deformation of the magnetic field distribution occurs in the case of inserting an anisotropic plate. Meanwhile, it makes the magnetic field distribution directional and its direction will be changeable and controllable by rotating angle. of the anisotropic plate. Furthermore, redistribution of the induced current density can be observed in the test piece, which results in two identical peak areas, and they are symmetric with respect to an axis perpendicular to the rotation angle. Subsequently, output voltage of the EC probe was calculated to quantitatively analyze the sensitivity for identifying crack orientation. Findings show that the output voltage from the probe was affected by the angle between the conductivity angle. of the anisotropic plate and the crack orientation.

With the degree of electrification in rural areas is greatly improved, the establishment of photovoltaic, energy storage integration of “optical storage straight soft” system in rural areas, can be used as a pilot target to achieve zero carbon. The three-port converter is the core of the “optical storage straight soft”. It not only has the characteristics of flexible buck-boost of bidirectional Buck-Boost circuit and bidirectional power flow of dual active bridge circuit, but also has simple structure and high integration. However, due to the integration with dual active bridge (DAB), backflow power (BP) is generated during operation. The existence of backflow power (BP) will increase the switching loss and reduce the conversion efficiency. In order to further improve the conversion efficiency, this paper proposes a parameter optimization method with zero backflow power in a certain working range for the problem of backflow power (BP) in the three-port converter under PWM plus double phase shift control.

For the problem of the power imbalance between the AC side and DC side of the two-stage single-phase photovoltaic grid-connected inverter, an active power decoupling circuit control method is proposed. While stabilizing the bus voltage, the long-life film capacitors with small capacitance and high stability are used to replace large electrolytic capacitors with poor reliability. Combined with the law of power conservation, the instantaneous energy stored in the decoupling circuit is equal to the energy of the second fluctuation on the output side of the inverter, and the power decoupling can be achieved to calculate the control reference value required by the decoupling circuit. The calculation process of the decoupling circuit parameters and the design process of the controller are given. For a suitable closed-loop control method, the small signal modeling is presented and voltage current double closed-loop control strategy is proposed. Based on the design parameters, an experimental prototype with a power of 1 kW is produced. The experimental results verified the effectiveness of the proposed active power decoupling control strategy. © 2021, Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
