With the rapid development of information technology, the number of Internet of things devices is growing rapidly, and the need to ensure its information security is becoming more and more urgent. In this application context, as a lightweight hardware encryption primitive, physical unclonable functions come onto the stage. This paper proposes a software PUF design, OCP-PUF, based on the internal timing difference of the processor. This PUF is based on the difference of the delay path in the processor pipeline, takes a specific instruction group input as a challenge, and response based on the instruction error that occurs after the clock overclocking. This design does not need to configure any additional hardware resources, nor does it need to make any changes to the hardware of the device. So it can be easily deployed on existing devices, which fits the current application background of low power consumption and low resource occupation. In the work of this paper, its principle and incentive response mechanism are described in detail, and its implementation based on RISC-V instruction set architecture on FPGA platform is verified and analyzed. The results verify that its uniqueness and stability are similar to that of traditional PUF, but it reduces resource occupation. © 2022 IEEE.

In order to improve the identification efficiency of devices in the perception layer of the Internet of Things, reduce the cost of calculation and protect data privacy, a device fingerprint extraction method based on lightweight national secret algorithm is proposed. Firstly, the feature information of embedded module is introduced to construct a comprehensive feature set, and the reasonable feature subset is determined based on the feature selection strategy of expert information weighting mechanism;Secondly, the lightweight cipher algorithm with high security is selected to transform the feature subset data into device fingerprint;Finally, based on the electric energy acquisition equipment in the power Internet of things, the fingerprint value extracted meets the requirements of uniqueness and unforgeability, and has the characteristics of fast response, which verifies the feasibility of the method. © 2021 ACM.

To better test the FTU in distribution automation system, this paper designs the upper monitor software for testing the security packets based on IEC104. The article adopts the asynchronous communication to optimize the packet process method and solves the packet disorder, packet loss and retransmission problem which provides ideas for the design of security test system for power distribution terminal equipment.

This As a common sensor, current sensor is widely used in power generation, automotive electronics, rail transit and power field. In this paper, we describes the principle and characteristics of the mainstream current sensor, and compares the advantages of the traditional current sensor (such as CT) and the new current sensor (such as fluxgate, hall, magnetoresistance, etc.). Then we tests the developed fluxgate current sensor sample on the basis of analyzing the demand for current sensor in the power field. Finally, we conducted a preliminary test on the performance of the sensor and discuss the optimization of the sensor.

The attack price of higher order side channel attacks (HOSCA) grows exponentially with the mask order. When the mask order is larger than 3, HOSCA can be inapplicable. In light of this, the distance similarity measure based profiling attack (DSMPA) is proposed. In DSMPA, the leakage property of masks can be characterised in a profiling scenario and the so called templates can be obtained. Then, DSM can be used to recover mask values with templates. With mask values recovered, the effect of masking disappears and one can use first-order side-channel attacks to recover the secret key used by a masked chip. The key-recovery efficiency of DSMPA is evaluated in real scenarios, and the advantage of DSMPA over HOSCA in terms of the key-recovery efficiency can be obvious under the success rate metric. Overall, the contribution of this work may provide evaluators a powerful tool to evaluate the security of masked chips.

Investigation on the Bearing Performance of a Single Pile in Shallow Reinforced Soft Soil Foundation under Horizontal Load

The overall reinforcement of soft soil foundation has the disadvantages of large engineering quantity and high cost. When the pile foundation bears horizontal loads in the soil, the mechanical properties of the soil near the surface have a greater impact on it compared to the deep soil. Therefore, studying the influence of shallow soil reinforcement on the horizontal bearing capacity of pile foundations has important engineering significance. Studying the influence of shallow soft soil reinforcement around piles on the horizontal bearing performance of piles is of great significance for improving the economic efficiency of pile foundation reinforcement technology in soft soil areas. In this paper, seven pile-soil finite element models are established based on ABAQUS 2022 software to study the influence of shallow reinforcement on the horizontal bearing capacity of single pile. The models were established on the basis of a field test and its validity was verified. The influence of different reinforcement degrees on the horizontal bearing capacity of piles is analyzed by taking the reinforcement width and reinforcement depth as variables. The results indicate that shallow ground improvement significantly enhances the horizontal bearing capacity of the pile. The horizontal bearing capacity of the pile is increased by 83.0%, 104.3%, and 224.4%, respectively, corresponding to a reinforcement width of 2 times, 3 times, and 4 times the diameter of the pile, respectively. With the increase of the reinforcement width, the bending moment and deformation of the pile under the same horizontal load decrease significantly, while it has no significant effect on the location of the maximum bending moment of the pile. The bearing capacity of the pile foundation gradually increases with the increase of the reinforcement depth. Triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) have manifested a remarkable potential for harvesting environmental energy and have the prospects to be utilized for various uses, for instance, self-powered sensing devices, flexible wearables, and marine corrosion protection. However, the potential for further development of TENGs is restricted on account of their low output power that in turn is determined by their surface charge density. The current review majorly focuses on the selection and optimization of triboelectric materials. Subsequently, various methods capable of enhancing the surface charge density of TENGs, including environmental regulation, charge excitation, charge pumping, electrostatic breakdown, charge trapping, and liquid-solid structure are comprehensively reviewed. Lastly, the review is concluded by highlighting the existing challenges in enhancing the surface charge density of TENGs and exploring potential opportunities for future research endeavors in this area.

The determination of photovoltaic (PV) model parameters has essential theoretical and practical significance for the performance evaluation, power monitoring, and power generation efficiency calculation of PV systems. In this paper, a multi-strategy gaining-sharing knowledge-based algorithm (MSGSK) is developed to determine these parameters. In our previous work, it has been demonstrated that gaining-sharing knowledge-based algorithm (GSK) is well suited for solving the concerned problem. To enhance its performance, a parameter adjustment strategy is developed to adjust the knowledge rate and knowledge ratio of GSK. Besides, a backtracking differential mutation strategy by combining the mutation scheme of differential evolution and the updating scheme of backtracking search optimization algorithm is developed to enrich the population diversity. Furthermore, a strategy selection mechanism is introduced to integrate the former two strategies to balance exploration and exploitation in different stages of the evolutionary process. The suggested MSGSK algorithm is applied to five PV cases (SDM, DDM, Photowatt-PW201, STM6-40/36, and STP6-120/36). From the experimental data, it can be observed that MSGSK extracts the PV model parameters more precisely than the basic GSK. Furthermore, it exhibits faster convergence speed and higher accuracy compared to other advanced algorithms found in the literature.

The wide application of clean energy has promoted the development of microgrids. For direct current (DC) microgrids, power fluctuations are inevitable, because photovoltaics, wind power and other clean energy sources are very unstable, which will bring great trouble to DC microgrids. Hybrid energy storage systems (HESS) are an effective solution to suppress power fluctuations. For a HESS composed of battery and supercapacitor (SC), a low-pass filter is usually used to allocate energy and power requirements to each energy storage unit, but the filter constant of the filter cannot be dynamically adjusted to adapt to different situations. The low-pass filter compensation coefficient used in this paper will change with the state of charge and discharge and dynamically change and allocate different power requirements to the battery and SC according to the actual operating conditions of the HESS. The objective function of DC bus power fluctuation is established, and the optimized particle swarm algorithm (PSO) is used to obtain the output power coefficient of each energy storage unit. The output coefficient of the HESS control strategy has the characteristics of fast convergence speed and high computational efficiency in the optimization process, and it will not fall into the local optimal solution. Through the design experiment, the SC can withstand more high-frequency components, fully utilize the advantages of SC with fast response to power fluctuations, improve the performance of HESS and have great engineering application value.

Green edge-assisted unmanned aerial vehicle (eUAV) network is an emerging network architecture enhanced with the energy efficiency technology that provides an ubiquitous communication for air and ground. It is considered a promising technology that can maintain a balance between a clean environment and a rich human life to build a sustainable world. However, the security issues exposed by UAVs have raised concerns about the trust and security for adopting eUAV network for communication. To this end, a trust assessment as a service (TaaS) scheme for secure communication of green eUAV network is proposed. The TaaS can effectively collect the valid data of UAVs about diverse and dynamic quality of service (QoS) attributes related to energy efficiency. To predict the actual data of UAVs about QoS attributes in the real green eUAV environment, an service level object calibration method is presented in TaaS. In addition, to accurately obtain the trust level of UAVs in the eUAV network, TaaS presents a trust level assessment method integrated the interval multi-attribute decision-making method and the objective weight assignment method based on deviation maximization. A case study with open source dataset and a performance analysis experiment are conducted to show that the proposed TaaS scheme can accurately and effectively assess the trust level of UAVs while outperforming other traditional trust assessment methods.
