Single-Cu-atom anchoring on covalent organic framework as a wearable flexible electrochemical sensor for acetaminophen

In this paper, a wearable flexible patch featuring a non-enzymatic electrochemical sensor based on Cu single-atom catalysts (SACs) anchored on bipyridine-covalent organic framework (COF) electrode was proposed for specific detection of acetaminophen (AP) in human sweat. The electrode modified material is Cu single atom catalytic material (Cu-TpBpy). The bifunctional TpBpy acts as a support for binding individual Cu atoms through abundant and well-organized N-N chelating sites, while simultaneously serving as an active host for specific recognition/adsorption of AP due to its porous structure and active N sites. The resulting Cu-TpBpy with atomically dispersed Cu sites demonstrated high electrochemical activity for AP, attributed to enhanced electron transfer efficiency and reduced binding and adsorption energies. Density functional theory calculations further reveal that the Cu single-atom anchoring on TpBpy provides superior adsorption of AP than TpBpy alone, resulting in lower binding energy, and higher selectivity and sensitivity. The wearable flexible patch, based on Cu-TpBpy, enabled real-time and accurate detection of AP in human sweat and achieved a linear range of 0.3 µM-5 µM and a limit of detection of 13 nM, with satisfied stability and repeatability. This work developed a highly sensitive non-enzymatic sensing method for wearable flexible patches. © 2025

New Tocopherol and Acylphloroglucinol Derivatives from Dryopteris Crassirhizoma and Their Antimicrobial Activities

Nine previously undescribed compounds including six tocopherol derivatives (1–6) and three acylphloroglucinol derivatives (7–9) were isolated and characterized from the plants of Dryopteris crassirhizoma. Their structures with absolute configurations were determined by extensive spectroscopic analyses, including IR, HRESIMS, NMR, and calculated electronic circular dichroism (ECD). Compounds 1 and 2 are the first tocopheroid derivatives possessing unique 2,5-dimethylcyclopent-4-ene-1,3-dione carbon skeleton, and compounds 3–6 were new 5a-norcyclopentenones having a spirofused bicyclic carbon skeleton. The biosynthetic pathway of compounds 1–6 was postulated. When combined with fluconazole (FLC), compound 3 showed significant antifungal activity against standard Candida albicans with MIC50 value of 1.19 μg/mL (FLC: 3.41 μg/mL). Furthermore, the anti-plant pathogenic fungi and bacterial activities have been evaluated in vitro, compounds 5 and 8 showed anti-Verticillium dahlia and Sclerotinia sclerotiorum with MIC value of 50 μg/mL, respectively. Compounds 1 and 5 exhibited moderate antibacterial activities against Micrococcus luteus with MIC value of 50 μg/mL, respectively. © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

At present,the utilization rate of small cold storage for fruit and vegetable in Yunnan is low,and it is necessary to carry out regional management of cold storage in order to save energy and improve the utilization *** different fruits and vegetables need different refrigeration temperatures,so real-time temperature and humidity monitoring is particularly *** meeting this requirement,this paper designs an arduino-based temperature and humidity monitoring system for small cold storage of fruit and *** system mainly includes hardware and software *** component includes Arduino Mega2560,ESP8266,Zigbee,DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor,and OLED display and the software component includes the Arduino IDE,UartAssist serial debugging assistant,***,the whole system is tested,and the test results show that the system has the characteristics of remote viewing,high measuring accuracy and convenient use,and the system could meet the needs of temperature and humidity management for small cold storage.

In order to solve the rising labor cost of cold storage management in China, and to improve the safety factor of cold storage, this paper designs a simple cold storage safety monitoring system. It is mainly to reflect the real-time monitoring information in the cold storage to the central background for unified processing, which not only reduces the harmful operations in the cold storage to save labor costs, but also improves the safety factor in the cold storage to reduce property losses. The monitoring system is fully automatic, which greatly reduces the staff's effort in cold storage management.

Nickel-carbonate nanowire array： An efficient and durable electrocatalyst for water oxidation under nearly neutral conditions

It is highly attractive but still remains a great challenge to develop an efficient electrocatalyst for oxygen evolution reaction under nearly neutral conditions. In this work, we report the transformation of Ni3S2 nanowire array on nickel foam into the amorphous nickel carbonate nanowire array on nickel foam （NiCO3/NF）. The resulting NiCO3/NF shows high electrocatalytic activity towards water oxidation and affords current density of 50 mA. cm-2 at overpotential of 395 mV in 1.0 mol·L^-1 KHCO3. Moreover, this NiCO3/NF is also durable with a long-term electrochemical durability of 60 h. This catalyst electrode achieves a high turnover frequency of 0.21 mol O2·s^-1 at the overpotential of 500 mV.

With the objective to investigate the structure-reactivity relationship of CuO/SnO2 and eventually design more applicable catalysts for soot combustion,catalysts with different CuO loadings have been prepared by impregnation *** using X-ray diffraction and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy extrapolation methods,it is disclosed that CuO disperses finely on the SnO2 support to form a monolayer with a capacity of 2.09 mmol 100 m^-2,which equals 4.8 wt%CuO *** the CuO loading is below the capacity,it is in a sub-monolayer ***,when the loading is above the capacity,CuO micro-crystallites will be formed that coexist with the CuO *** soot combustion activity of the catalyst increases with the CuO loading until it reaches the monolayer dispersion capacity.A further increase in the CuO loading has no evident influence on the *** results have testified that with the addition of CuO onto the SnO2 support,a surface-active oxygen species can be formed,the amount of which also increases significantly with the increase in the CuO loading until it reaches the monolayer dispersion *** the CuO loading further has no evident impact on the amount of surface ***,an apparent monolayer dispersion threshold effect is observed for soot combustion over CuO/SnO2 *** is concluded that the amount of surface-active oxygen sites is the major factor determining the activity of the catalyst.

The drying temperature is set at 50 degrees for both methods. The results show that different weight gastrodia elata is suitable for different drying methods. The gastrodia elata of 70-105 grams is suitable dried by the hot air drying, while the gastrodia elata of 105-140 grams is better dried by the hot pump drying. The two drying methods had no effect on polysaccharides of samples.
