The well-known multi-dimensional reconciliation is an effective method used in the continuous-variable quantum key distribution in the long-distance and the low signal-to-noise-ratio *** virtual channel employed to exchange data is generally established by using a finite-dimensional rotation in the reconciliation *** this paper,we found that the finite dimension of the multi-dimensional reconciliation inevitably leads to the mismatch of the signal-to-noise-ratio between the quantum channel and the virtual channel,which may be called the finite-dimension *** an effect results in an overestimation on the secret key rate,and subsequently induces vital practical security loopholes.

The existing datasets for evaluating Visual Inertial Odometry (VIO) have boosted the research of autonomous agents, but they don't meet the prosperous research of Augmented Reality (AR) or Mixed Reality (MR) given that they are not collected at real AR scenes and do not account for affecting factors of mobile devices. This paper presents the NEAR dataset, an AR oriented visual-inertial dataset collected with commodity handheld phones with ground truth. The dataset has a total of 110 sequences in 49 elaborately designed collection cases at two typical indoor scenes, i.e. the living area and the table area. It also covers plenty of setting adjustments for comparison, including the comparisons of different level textures, illuminations, motion patterns, camera settings and the difference between the rolling shutter and the global shutter. The full dataset along with the calibration data has been publicly available.

Tropospheric delay has always been an important issue in Global navigation Satellite System (GNSS) processing. Empirical tropospheric delay models are difficult to simulate complex and volatile atmospheric environments, resulting in poor accuracy of the empirical model and difficulty in meeting precise positioning demand. In recent years, some scholars proposed to establish real-time tropospheric product by using real-time or near-real-time GNSS observations in a small region, and achieved some good results. This paper uses real-time observing data of 210 Chinese national GNSS reference stations to estimate the tropospheric delay, and establishes ZWD grid model in the country wide. In order to analyze the influence of tropospheric grid product on wide-area real-time PPP, this paper compares the method of taking ZWD grid product as a constraint with the model correction method. The results show that the ZWD grid product estimated based on the national reference stations can improve PPP accuracy and convergence speed. The accuracy in the north(N), east(E) and up(U) direction increase by 31.8%,15.6% and 38.3%, respectively. As with the convergence speed, the accuracy of U direction experiences the most improvement. © Authors 2018.

A sequential application of the Grover algorithm to solve the iterated search problem has been improved by Ozhigov [1] by parallelizing the application of the oracle. In this work a representation of the parallel Grover as dynamic system of inversion about the mean and Grover operators is given. Within this representation the parallel Grover for k = 2 can be interpreted as rotation in three-dimensional space and it can be shown that the sole application of the parallel Grover operator does not lead to a solution for k > 2. We propose a solution for k = 3 with a number of approximately 1.51√N iterations. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Image-based modeling techniques [1], [2], [3] can now generate photo-realistic 3D models from images. But it is up to users to provide high quality images with good coverage and view overlap, which makes the data capturing process tedious and time consuming. We seek to automate data capturing for image-based modeling. The core of our system is an iterative linear method to solve the multi-view stereo (MVS) problem quickly and plan the Next-Best-View (NBV) effectively. Our fast MVS algorithm enables online model reconstruction and quality assessment to determine the NBVs on the fly. We test our system with a toy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in simulated, indoor and outdoor experiments. Results show that our system improves the efficiency of data acquisition and ensures the completeness of the final model.

Weak value amplification (WVA) recently becomes an important technique for parameter estimation, thanks to its ability of enhancing signal-to-noise ratio by amplifying extremely small signals with proper post-selection strategies. In this work, we propose an adaptive WVA scheme to achieve the highest Fisher information in the case of using an unbalanced pointer. Different from the previous schemes, the adaptive WVA scheme is associated with a real-time update on the post-selection states with the help of the feedback information from outcomes, and the"extremely small" condition set on the parameter of interest is relaxed. By applying this scheme to a time-delay measurement scenario, we show by numerical simulation that the precision achieved in our scheme is several times higher than the standard WVA scheme. Our result opens a new path for improving the WVA technique in a more flexible and robust way. Copyright © 2018, The Authors. All rights reserved.

It has been found that non-Gaussian operations can be applied to increase and distill entanglement between Gaussian entangled states. We show the successful use of the non-Gaussian operation, in particular, photon subtraction operation, on the continuous-variable measurement-device-independent quantum key distribution (CV-MDI-QKD) protocol. The proposed method can be implemented based on existing technologies. Security analysis shows that the photon subtraction operation can remarkably increase the maximal transmission distance of the CV-MDI-QKD protocol, which precisely make up for the shortcoming of the original CV-MDI-QKD protocol, and one-photon subtraction operation has the best performance. Moreover, the proposed protocol provides a feasible method for the experimental implementation of the CV-MDI-QKD protocol.

Fast acquisition of L2C CL codes based on combination of hyper codes and averaging correlation

This paper provides a direct and fast acquisition algorithm of civilian long length（CL） codes in the L2 civil（L2C） signal. The proposed algorithm simultaneously reduces the number of fast Fourier transformation（FFT） correlation through hyper code technique and the amount of points in every FFT correlation by using an averaging correlation method. To validate the proposed acquisition performance, the paper applies this algorithm to the real L2C signal collected by the global positioning system（GPS） L2C intermediate frequency（IF） signal sampler—SIS100L2C. The acquisition results show that the proposed modified algorithm can acquire the code phase accurately with less calculation and its acquisition performance is better than the single hyper code method.

with the continuous promotion of Beidou satellite navigation applications, the pace of city market accelerate, and how to improve the navigation terminal performance is a hot issue under city environment because of its wide application and complex signal propagation. based on received Beidou satellite signal power shadowing under different environments in city application, the paper proposed a statistical Markov model with three states: line-of-sight(LOS)-shadowblock, and using a combination of mixture Gaussian functions to approximate the distribution to describe signal variations to represent environment parameter variations. Channel parameters are evaluated from the experimental data in shanghai and utilized to verify a simulated model. Results presented in the form of signal waveforms, probability density functions show close agreement with measurements.
