Comparison resonant magnetoelectric effects in positive magnetostrictive/piezoelectric and negative magnetostrictive/piezoelectric laminate composites

Magnetoelectric (ME) effect is investigated in various bilayer composites with various magnetostrictive materials FeCuNbSiB, FeSiB, Ni, FeNi and Terfenol-D. Compared with the ME composites, FeSiB/PZT Ni/PZT, Terfenol-D/PZT, FeNi/PZT and FeCuNbSiB/PZT, the resonant ME voltage coefficient of FeCuNbSiB/PZT composite reaches 12.5 V/Oe and is larger than that of other four bilayer ME composites. This feature enables the FeCuNbSiB/PZT composite to possess more highly efficient magneto-electric energy conversion ability. In additional, the ME voltage coefficient of Ni/PZT exhibits significant hysteresis phenomenon as a function of the dc magnetic field at resonant frequency. The zero-biased ME response is observed and can be attributed to the large intrinsic anisotropic field with obvious hysteresis and remnant magnetization in Ni plate. This result offers the potential applications for highly sensitive magnetic field detection without bias by utilizing bilayer Ni/PZT composite due to its self-biased, self-powered, and ultra-sensitive properties. The automatic analyzing of erythrocyte image contributes to clinic blood-related disease treatment in Medical Image computer Aided Diagnosing. In our work, the original input data we concerned were Red Blood Cell images captured by Scanned Electron Microscope. What interested us more is the intensity information of each pixel in a cell, which is used for 3D height field recovering from the varied shading. The reconstructed depth map of each point on the surfaces is applied to calculate Gaussian curvature and mean curvature, which are used to produce surface type lab.l image. The distribution of different surface types is estimated to consist of a feature vector. In the end, a combined classifier based on support vector machine and particle swarm optimization was presented to train and classify the red blood cells. The experimental results shows classifier being efficient and easily to be implemented.

A kind of SND-based algorithm for self-adapting network congestion control has been presented in this paper, which is for the complicated and integrated network environment that the Internet of Things (IOT) to face in the future. As we know, the control of network congestion has become a hot spot in the study of Internet of Things transmission service. The network control algorithm of self-adapting congestion based on semi-normal distribution has improved the original packet loss rate function, and changed congestion situation in Internet of Things. By our many experiments, the validity and correctness of this algorithm has been tested. © 2011 Binary information Press.

Improving detection definition is a pivotal problem for intrusion detection. Many intelligent algorithms were used to improve the detection rate and reduce the false rate. Traditional SOM cannot provide the precise clustering results to us, while traditional K-Means depends on the initial value serious and it is difficult to find the center of cluster easily. Therefore, in this paper we introduce a new algorithm, first, we use SOM gained roughly clusters and center of clusters, then, using K-Means refine the clustering in the SOM stage. At last of this paper we take KDD CUP-99 dataset to test the performance of the new algorithm. The new algorithm overcomes the defects of traditional algorithms effectively. Experimental results show that the new algorithm has a good stability of efficiency and clustering accuracy. © 2010 IEEE.

It's well known machine learning from examples is an effective method to solve non-linear classification problem. A new dynamic method of machine learning from transition example is given in this paper. This method can improve the traditional method ID3 which learns from static eigenvalues of examples. The limits of the traditional method ID3 lie on no comprehension and no memory, especially, no the varieties and dynamic correlation of eigenvalues. In the new method, it can learn from dynamic eigenvalues, the change of data can be learned because the training data is the initial eigenvalue and the end eigenvalue in the interval. All eigenvalue's varieties and correlation can be understood and remembered in application. By test experiments, the new method can be used as classifier when the multi-parameters are dynamic correlation, and it has special use in the many kinds of information fusion fields. © 2011 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

In order to support mobile service of long-distance monitoring and controlling UPS based on Web, a kind of design and implementation solution of embedded UPS (EUPS) system is brought forward in this paper. The design and implementation of system is based on ATmega161 and RTL8019AS with TCP/IP protocol suite for communication. In the EUPS system, an embedded file system is designed and implemented which can store the data and index information on a serial EEPROM chip in structured way and communicate with MCU through I2C bus. By embedding the file system into UPS system or other information appliances, users can browse and manipulate local data on the web client side. Based on our experimental tests, the performance of EUPS can meet the requirements of Web-based mobile services. © 2010 Binary information Press.

Today, the world economy is in the stage of rapid development, followed by the rising quantity, the decreasing moisture content, and the increasing heat value of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). Since waste incineration has the advantages of excellent volume reduction effect, high resource utilization efficiency, and less secondary pollution to the environment, waste incineration disposal technology has received extensive attention worldwide. With the continuous increase of the urban population, the amount of sewage sludge is growing year by year. The process of the sludge incineration system is highly complicated, and the cost of construction and operation is high. The waste incinerator can process not only MSW but also sewage sludge. Therefore, the co-incineration of sewage sludge with MSW in the existing waste incinerator is a safe and effective way to dispose of sewage sludge. In this paper, the simulation results of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) are analyzed for medium-scale and large-scale waste incinerators, characterized by high moisture content, high ash content, low heat value of sewage sludge, and incomplete combustion and high pollutant emissions in waste incinerators. With FLIC-Fluent coupled simulation method, the critical information such as temperature field, velocity field, concentration field of principal components, and the pollutant emissions can be predicted. Based on the CFD simulation results, the performance and structure of waste incinerators can be optimized, and the new products can be designed and developed. © COPYRIGHT SPIE. The resource limitation of mobile devices causes the problem that the existing image processing software based on the centralized computing mode had difficulty running in mobile devices. A solution is given in the paper by adopting web service-based image processing method. For one thing, image processing tasks were distributed to service providers' service registry and service requesters. For another, what the service providers should do was only to invocate the specific image processing services provided by service providers. Consequently, web service-based solution reduces the resource consumption of mobile devices by redistributing image processing tasks. Compared with traditional methods of image processing, Web service-based image processing method has the advantages of loose coupling and component oriented and can take full advantage of the computing resources in heterogeneous network. Thus web service-based image processing method can effectively solve the resource bottle-neck that traditional image processing software had. ©2009 IEEE.

The image data are obtained by a variety of multimedia, information equipment, which include amount of information, extensive coverage, and redundancy in ubiquitous computing paradigm. In order to make use of these information reasonably and efficiently, it is necessary to fuse such massive data, therefore the multi-sensor image information fusion become a key technology to ubiquitous computing. A new approach of image data fusion based on fuzzy neural network (FNN) is presented in this paper. Here, neural network is a parallel information processing model, there are more adaptive and self-organization, and can accomplish the complexity of real-time computing and mass data retrieval, it demonstrate its unique superiority of image understanding, pattern recognition and the handling of incomplete information. In the new approach, fuzzy theory has the advantages such as: easy-to-understand, flexible and inclusive of non-precise data, as well as using expert knowledge and based on the natural language. The fuzzy neural network system developed by us has used in multi-sensor image fusion, proved that the fusion is fast, effective, good, and can meet the real-time requirements of ubiquitous computing. ©2010 IEEE.
