knowledge Graph (KG) is a directed heterogeneous information network that contains a large number of entities and relations, which is widely used as effective side information in rec-ommender systems. Moreover, in recommender systems, the Graph Convolutional Network (GCN) model is introduced to mine the relatedness between entities in a KG because of its efficiency in extracting spatial features on topological graphs. The knowledge Graph Convolutional Network (KGCN) model up-dates the embedding of a currently positioned entity by aggregating the information of adjacent entities selected randomly. Never-theless, it has two limititations: 1) the information of neighbors se-lected randomly cannot accurately represent the current entity in the KG; 2) the model is hard to converge as graph features (i.e. The spatial relation features and semantic information features of en-tities in the KG) grow. To solve these limitations, in this paper, a meta-path (i.e., a sequence of artificially constructed relationships) is introduced into the selection of neighbors in the KGCN model to enhance the representation of each entity. Furthermore, two construction methods of the meta-path - constructing a meta-path based on the same relation (KGCN-SP) and the characteris-tics of KG (KGCN-MP) -are proposed. The experiments based on three real-world datasets demonstrate that the neighbor selection based on the meta-path is able to collect more accurate infor-mation from a KG and improve the recommendation performance effectively.

knowledge graph alignment aims to link equivalent entities across different knowledge graphs. To utilize both the graph structures and the side information such as name, description and attributes, most of the works propagate the side information especially names through linked entities by graph neural networks. However, due to the heterogeneity of different knowledge graphs, the alignment accuracy will be suffered from aggregating different neighbors. This work presents an interaction model to only leverage the side information. Instead of aggregating neighbors, we compute the interactions between neighbors which can capture fine-grained matches of neighbors. Similarly, the interactions of attributes are also modeled. Experimental results show that our model significantly outperforms the best state-of-the-art methods by 1.9-9.7% in terms of HitRatio@1 on the dataset DBP15K. © 2020 Inst. Sci. inf., Univ. In the face of the increasing demand of crane transportation speed and stability, an improved Ant-lion algorithm is proposed in this paper. On the original basis, the quasi-reverse learning method is used to improve the stability of the algorithm and make the initial data distributed evenly. Furthermore, an elite ant-lion growth mechanism is introduced to accelerate the convergence speed of the simulation and improve the simulation accuracy. Finally, the proposed algorithm is verified in the double pendulum system of crane based on LQR controller, and the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm are proved by experiments. © 2023 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

Digital histopathological tissue images are gold material for cancer diagnosis and grades. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) are state-of-the-art models in many image classification tasks. However, considering the limited computing resources, it is not practical to directly train CNNs on gigapixel resolution histopathological tissue images. Therefore, the entire histopathological image is commonly divided into a grid of patches and then fed each patch to CNNs, but not all patches are necessary for specific tasks. Besides, although CNNs are excellent image classifiers, many pre-trained models are based on natural images. Neural Architecture Search (NAS) can realize automatic search, construction, and training specific problemoriented networks. We present salient patch based NAS for grading colorectal cancer (CRC) histology images with these motivations. The proposed framework first applies the classic classification network to extract significant patches from the whole image, then use the network obtained by NAS to grade the patches, and finally aggregates the patch-level predictions to generate the entire CRC histological image lab.l. Our experiments on microscopic colorectal tissue images demonstrate that the proposed method is sufficient to obtain more accurate classification results compared to its counterparts. We also conducted a comprehensive analysis of the different scenarios of the proposed method. © by the International Institute of Informatics and Systemics.

Partial Multi-lab.l Learning (PML) aims to induce the multi-lab.l predictor from datasets with noisy supervision, where each training instance is associated with several candidate lab.ls but only partially valid. To address the noisy issue, the existing PML methods basically recover the ground-truth lab.ls by leveraging the ground-truth confidence of the candidate lab.l, i.e., the likelihood of a candidate lab.l being a ground-truth one. However, they neglect the information from non-candidate lab.ls, which potentially contributes to the ground-truth lab.l recovery. In this paper, we propose to recover the ground-truth lab.ls, i.e., estimating the ground-truth confidences, from the lab.l enrichment, composed of the relevance degrees of candidate lab.ls and irrelevance degrees of non-candidate lab.ls. Upon this observation, we further develop a novel two-stage PML method, namely Partial Multilab.l Learning with lab.l Enrichment-Recovery (PML3ER), where in the first stage, it estimates the lab.l enrichment with unconstrained lab.l propagation, then jointly learns the ground-truth confidence and multi-lab.l predictor given the lab.l enrichment. With the advancement of deep learning models nowadays, they have successfully applied in the semi-supervised medical image segmentation where there are few annotated medical images and a large number of unlab.led ones. A representative approach in this regard is the semi-supervised method based on consistency regularization, which improves model training by imposing consistency constraints (perturbations) on unlab.led data. However, the perturbations in this kind of methods are often artificially designed, which may introduce biases unfavorable to the model learning in the handling of medical image segmentation. On the other hand, the majority of such methods often overlook the supervision in the Encoder stage of training and primarily focus on the outcomes in the later stages, potentially leading to chaotic learning in the initial phase and subsequently impacting the learning process of the model in the later stages. At the meanwhile, they miss the intrinsic spatial-frequency information of the images. Therefore, in this study, we propose a new semi-supervised medical image segmentation approach based on frequency domain aware stable consistency regularization. Specifically, to avoid the bias introduced by artificially setting perturbations, we first utilize the inherent frequency domain information of images, including both high and low frequencies, as the consistency constraint. Secondly, we incorporate supervision in the Encoder stage of model training to ensure that the model does not fail to learn due to the disruption of the original feature space caused by strong augmentation. Finally, extensive experimentation validates the effectiveness of our semi-supervised approach.

Object detection, a quintessential task in the realm of perceptual computing, can be tackled using a generative methodology. In the present study, we introduce a novel framework designed to articulate object detection as a denoising diffusion process, which operates on the perturbed bounding boxes of annotated entities. This framework, termed ConsistencyDet, leverages an innovative denoising concept known as the Consistency Model. The hallmark of this model is its self-consistency feature, which empowers the model to map distorted information from any temporal stage back to its pristine state, thereby realizing a "one-step denoising" mechanism. Such an attribute markedly elevates the operational efficiency of the model, setting it apart from the conventional Diffusion Model. Throughout the training phase, ConsistencyDet initiates the diffusion sequence with noise-infused boxes derived from the ground-truth annotations and conditions the model to perform the denoising task. Subsequently, in the inference stage, the model employs a denoising sampling strategy that commences with bounding boxes randomly sampled from a normal distribution. Through iterative refinement, the model transforms an assortment of arbitrarily generated boxes into definitive detections. Comprehensive evaluations employing standard benchmarks, such as MS-COCO and LVIS, corroborate that ConsistencyDet surpasses other leading-edge detectors in performance metrics. This study presented dosimetry analysis for therapeutic staff exposed to magnetic pulses from double cone and Halo-circular assembly (HCA) coils during deep transcranial magnetic stimulation (dTMS) applications. The magnetic field and the induced electric field in realistic human body model exposure to dTMS coils have been obtained by employing the impedance method. The exposure level by both double cone and HCA coils were assessed according to the limits defined by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) guidelines. The HCA coil generates higher exposure to therapeutic staff compared to that of double cone coil.

In clinical imaging, medical segmentation networks typically require continually adapting to new data from multiple sites over time, as aggregating all data for learning at once can be impractical due to storage limitations and privacy concerns. However, existing methods basically overlook domain-specific characteristics and fall short of adequately capturing domain-invariant knowledge during continual learning, leading to undesired catastrophic forgetting of previous sites and inferior generalization to new sites. To tackle this issue, this paper introduces FR2Seg, to sufficiently exploit both domain-specific and domain-invariant knowledge for efficient continual learning with the aid of low-frequency cues. For the former aspect, we propose a Fourier style replay module to synthesize pseudo images with old-site styles for data augmentation during new-site training, effectively preventing catastrophic forgetting without sacrificing data privacy. For the latter, we present a Fourier adaptive consistency regularization to identify and constrain the optimization of domain-invariant parameters with explicit awareness of knowledge transferability across sites, ensuring excellent generalizability to new sites. Experimental results on two public datasets confirm our method's superiority over existing state-of-the-art continual learning methods. Aiming at the problem of the architecture of the automation control system of traditional buildings, Tsinghua University proposed swarm intelligence building technology. However, most of the electrical equipment in completed buildings is not designed for swarm intelligence technology, and a large number of heterogeneous devices can't communicate with Swarm Intelligence Computing network platform, which leads to the difficulty of the system promotion. This paper develops a multi-purpose gateway for swarm intelligence. On the basis of solving the data interaction between terminal equipment of swarm intelligence control system and computing network, it reduces the requirement of network bandwidth through preprocessing of data, and completes the feasibility test of gateway in lighting unit. © 2021 IEEE.
