Numerical simulation and model test study of mechanismof bolt in deep tunnel

According to rock character of a certain soft rock tunnel of Chongqing, the model material is made from epoxy resin, polyamide, silicom rubber, firming agent of silicon rubber, quartz grit, powdery barite and gasoline. The physical model test of the unreinforced tunnel and bolt-reinforced tunnel are made in the true triaxial model test machine. By using strain measure technology, the strains of key parts of the surrounding rock and the bolt are measured;according to these data, the variability of the stress of surrounding rock and the variability of the axial force of the bolt are analyzed. The numerical simulation are made with the same boundary condition as the model test;according to these data, the plastic zone, stress field and the deformation of the surrounding rock are studied;the variation of the axial force of the bolt is studied. We compare the variation of stress of the surrounding rock and the variation of the axial force of the bolt of the model test with the numerical simulation and draw the conclusion that the two processes coincide with each other.

Sand liquefaction is a problem of complex evolution of the disaster, there is no accurate way to judge at present, this study put forward an analytical method to improve and optimize the evaluation system of sand liquefaction based on rough set. The significance of indexes are confirmed by calculating rough dependability between indexes and result for appraisement, the result show that SPT blow count has the greatest impact on the evaluation system, the groundwater level has greater impact, followed by the sand depth, epicenteral distance and duration. The proposed approach overcame the subjectivity of traditional weight determination method, so it is more objective and accurate, and it is reasonable and effective to optimize the evaluation index of sand liquefaction. © (2011) Trans Tech Publications.

Based on the gently inclined medium thick phosphate rock of the deep part of the east mining section of +2150 level of Jinning-Six mine of Yunnan phosphate Co., Ltd, the similar material physical model simulation experiment of the stability of stope pillars under room and pillar mining was carried out by the mine pressure plane stress modeling experimental frame of college of resource and environmental sciences. Based on the experimental results,the deformation and failure changing law of the above roof, surrounding rock mass and stope pillar during the mining along the strike direction of phosphate were investigated. The experimental results showed: (1) With the increasing of the scope of mined-out area, the fwassure zone and separation layer zone of the roof in the original mined-out area of the stope were pressed compact step by step. And when the space range of the mined-out area reached some scale, the deformation of the fwassure zone and separation layer zone of the roof in the original mined-out drived to stabilwasation, and the sustain action of it to the gravity fore of the overlying strata was reexternalization. (2)After the mining, the subsidence region of the overlying strata of the stope mainly concentrated the roof and surrounding rock mass which beside the mined-out area, the position of the maximum subsidence point was in the center zone of the excavation space, with the increasing of the dwastance from the center of the stope along the trend and normal of the ore body, the subsidence value of the overlying strata of the stope was monotone decreasing. With the increasing of the region of the excavation space, the mining influence region and the mining inflence degree of the overlaying strata of the stope gradually increased. And the corresponding position of the maximum subsidence zone dynamically forward leaded, the final subsidence curve of the overlying strata was a bowl shaped curve. Based on the experimental results, the stress changing law of the above roof of stope roof after the filling of stope along the strike direction of phosphate were investigated. Then the gently inclined medium thick phosphate rock of the deep part of the east mining section of Jinning-Six mine of Yunnan phosphate Co., Ltd could efficiently recover, and the surface in mining areas could also be protected. © 2011 IEEE.

In order to understand the characteristics of deformation, failure and strain energy of the fractured rock sample under continuous loading, triaxial compression tests of the sandstone sample from Yongchuan mine are carried out by a MTS815 rock testing system. Based on the experimental results, the fractured ratio(r) is developed, it reflects the ratio of the break between the fractured sample and the perfect sample, smaller r means the larger fracture for the rock sample, the maximum and the minimum value of r is 1and the ratio of residual strength and peak strength. The results of this analysis showed that the fractured ratio has good linear relationship with the secant modulus, axial strain, Poisson's ratio and strain energy;after continuous loading, the failure mode of fractured rock sample appears 'X' shear failure mode;the maximum of Poisson's ratio of rock can be determined by the test under continuous loading. These conclusions have a great significance to understand the mechanism of rock outburst and rockburst.

Risk analysis of ground subsidence accidents caused by underground storage caverns in salt rock

In the construction and operation processes of underground storage cavern in bedded salt, ground subsidence, even earth surface collapse accidents, resulted by the storage cavern contraction and overlying rock deformation is an important accident type. Aimed at the ground subsidence accidents caused by underground storage cavern, this paper reveals the mechanism and builds the fault tree model of this type of accidents, finds out 14 failure patterns as well as 10 basic influence factors, also, puts forward the related control measures. Then Yunmeng-Yingcheng salt mine is taken as an example to forecast the severity of accident consequence. On the premise that ground subsidence accident happened at Yunmeng-Yingcheng salt mine, the severity probability of the accident consequence is analyzed using fuzzy comprehensive evaluation. Research results show that the severity of accident consequence belong to negligible level, to be considered level, serious level, very serious level and calamitous level are 0.24, 0.28, 0.29, 0.15, 0.04 respectively. The results are useful to prevent ground subsidence accidents caused by the storage caverns. What's more, it also provides according theory and a feasible way for appraising the loss severity before the accident happening.

Knowing about the distribution of gas pressure in coal seam is significative to study the flow of coal seam gas, the occurrence and the change of dynamic phenomenon. An in-situ detection is used to detect the in-situ occurrence of gas in No.3 coal seam in Sihe coal mine of Jincheng Anthracite Mining Group in Shanxi province. The distribution of gas pressure around the holes and the change of the content of gas are studied abstractly, which based on the mathematical simulation of the seam gas-seepage. The results show that insitu detection technique of coal seam gas could shorten the time of from founding the coal to starting to detect, which observably improved the accuracy of testing data, and meanwhile, made up for the deficiency of traditional detection technique in the loss of pressure at earlier stage. It is concluded that the pressure of the initial reservoir gas was about 0.3MPa, from the results of the detection of No.3 coal seam in Sihe coal mine. In order to simulate the distribution of gas pressure surrounding the drilling hole in No.3 coal seam in Sihe coal mine, the mathematical models of the seam gas-seepage were built through COMSOL numerical simulation software. From the results of simulation, the dates on the distribution of gas pressure and the content of gas were obtained. © 2010 IEEE.

There are many influence factors for coal and gas outburst, in which the stress wave is the most important one of the non-geological factors. Using the implicit-explicit analytical function of ANSYS/LS-DYNA, the response of roadway surrounding rock under the stress wave is simulated and the inducing effect of stress wave is studied. It is found that, under stress wave, tensile stress and compressive stress occurs in roadway surrounding rock. The vertical pressure of left side midpoint and horizontal pressure of right side midpoint act mainly as tensile pressure, and the pressure value increases along with the stress wave intensity. The horizontal displacement time curve of roof and floor and left side midpoint can be described as this: the value decreases deeply from plus peak to minus peak during Oms -10ms, and the evolution of right side midpoint is reverse to that of left side midpoint. The horizontal velocity time curve of roof and floor midpoint is that the value decreases deeply from peak to trough, then increasing slowly and keep flat. The horizontal velocity time curve of left side midpoint is similar to cosine curve and of right side midpoint is similar to sinusoid curve. © Atlantis Press, 2010.

In China coal mine safety are always the focus. Furthermore, the gas outburst is its top priority, because more than 70% accidents have links with gas outburst. With the rapid development of computer information technology and sensors, the gas monitoring has made substantial progress. The automation technology makes the monitor and prevention of gas outburst form one system, which is a new concept of monitoring and control. But security costs is the key to constraining the development of enterprises. In order to minimize security costs, automatic closed system is designed in this paper and it can judge the classes of risks considering the productivity and security. And the most importance is the system can take different measures according to different risk rather than the same method which would increase the costs. In addition the databases and remote systems is a wealth of information. Thus, it is an effective way for reducing the security costs and early warning of gas outburst. © Atlantis Press, 2010.

For the gas well with high H2S content, the process of sulfur deposition including the sulfur dissolution, precipitation, migration and deposition is a quite complex process. Relative to the solubility of sulfur under certain temperature and the pressure, the sulfur will be separated out when the content of sulfur in high sour gas is surpassed. Based on the theories of mass conservation, momentum conservation, energy conservation, and the transfer of heat in the radial directions of wellbore, we established the prediction model of the sulfur precipitation in the high H2S content gas well by using Roberts thermal empirical equation. In view of the examples, the sulfur separation at different levels of production is calculated and discussed by using the self-programming computer. © 2010 IEEE.
