The double thresholds distort the lineshapes of the PψsΛ (4338)0 resonance

Very recently, the LHCb Collab.ration reported the first observation of the hidden charm pentaquark with strangeness, PψsΛ (4338)0. Considering this state is very close to the Ξ0cD¯0 and Ξ+c D− thresholds, we explore the possible bias of the Breit-Wigner parameterization, with emphasis on the effect of its coupling to the double thresholds Ξ0cD¯0 and Ξ+c D−. We first use a qualitative picture based on the "uniformization" of the Riemann surface of the two-channel system to understand the positions of the enhancement. Then we use the Lippmann-Schwinger equation (LSE) formalism (equivalent to the K-matrix parameterization) with two models, the zero-range model and Flatté model to investigate the J/ψΛ lineshapes. Our results show that the nominal peak of the PψsΛ (4338)0 could arise either from the pole well above the Ξ+c D− threshold on the (−,+) sheet or from the pole well below the Ξ0cD¯0 threshold on the (−,−) sheet in the two-channel system. Using the Breit-Wigner distribution to depict the above two lineshapes could be misleading. We also find a novel type of lineshapes with the enhancement constrained by the threshold difference. We urge the LHCb collab.ration to perform the refined experimental analysis considering the unitarity and analyticity, e.g. using the K-matrix parameterization. We present the mid-infrared (MIR) light curves (LC) of 10 superluminous supernovae (SLSNe) at z 7 ∼ 108 L☉ at epochs of 100-500 days based on MIR colors W1 − W2 ∼ 1. Among the three SLSNe which show rebrightening, we further analysed PS15br and SN 2017ens. We modeled the SEDs at 500-700 days, which gives dust temperatures of 600-1100 K, dust masses of & 10−2 M☉, and luminosities of 108 ∼ 109 L☉. Considering the time delay and the huge amount of energy released, the emitting dust can hardly be pre-existing dust heated whether collisionally by shocks or radiatively by peak SLSN luminosity or shock emission. Instead, it can be newly formed dust additionally heated by the interaction of circum-stellar medium, indicated by features in their spectra and slowly declining bolometric LCs. The dust masses appear to be ten times greater than those formed in normal core-collapse supernovae at similar epochs. Combining with the analysis of SN 2018bsz by Chen et al. (2022), we suggest that SLSNe have higher dust formation efficiency, although future observations are required to reach a final conclusion. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In this work, we treat Λc(2910)+ and Λc(2940)+ as the conventional udc cores dressed with the D*N channel. We provide a possible interpretation to both Λc(2910)+ and Λc(2940)+ within the same framework. In the study, we consider not only the effects between the conventional triquark core and the D*N channel but also the D*N−D*N interactions. The mass of the Λc state with JP=1/2− is larger than that with JP=3/2− in this unquenched picture, which is very different from the prediction of the conventional quenched quark model. Based on the mass spectrum, the spin parity of Λc(2940)+ is more likely to be 1/2−, while Λc(2910)+ prefers 3/2−. We look forward to the future experiments that can test our results with more precise experimental data.

Recently,the Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab.measured the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment（MDM）,aμ=（gμ-2）/2,and reported that the new experimental average increases the difference between the experiment and the standard model （SM） prediction to 4.2σ.In this work,we reanalyze the muon anomalous MDM at the two-loop level in the μfrom theνSupersymmetric Standard Model （μνSSM） combined with the updated experimental *** μνSSM can explain the current difference between the experimental measurement and the SM theoretical prediction for the muon anomalous MDM,constrained by the 125 GeV Higgs boson mass and decays,the rare decay■,and so *** also investigate the anomalous MDM of the electron and tau lepton ae=（ge-2）/2and aτ=（gτ-2）/2,at the two-loop level in theμν*** addition,the decaying of the 125 GeV Higgs boson into a pair of charged leptons in the μνSSM is analyzed.

Within the basis light-front quantization framework, we compute the masses and light-front wave functions of the Λb baryon and its isospin triplet counterparts Σ+b , Σ0b, and Σ−b using a light-front effective Hamiltonian in the leading Fock sector. These wave functions are obtained as eigenstates of the effective Hamiltonian, which incorporates the one-gluon exchange interaction with fixed coupling and a three-dimensional confinement potential. With the quark masses and the couplings as adjustable parameters, the computed masses are set within the experimental range. The resulting predictions for their electromagnetic properties align well with other theoretical calculations. Additionally, the parton distribution functions (PDFs) of these baryons are obtained for the first time, with gluon and sea quark distributions dynamically generated through QCD evolution of the valence quark PDFs. © 2025, CC BY.

We solved the instantaneous Bethe-Salpeter equation for heavy pseudoscalars in different kernels, where the kernels are obtained using linear scalar potential plus one gluon exchange vector potentials in Feynman gauge, Landau gauge, Coulomb gauge and time-component Coulomb gauge. We obtained the mass spectra of heavy pseudoscalars, and compared the results between different kernels, found that using the same parameters we obtain the smallest mass splitting in time-component Coulomb gauge, the similar largest mass splitting in Feynman and Coulomb gauges, middle size splitting in Landau gauge. In a few years, the COMET experiment at J-PARC and the Mu2e experiment at Fermilab.will probe the µ − e conversion rate in the vicinity of O(10−17) for an Al target with high experimental sensitivity. Within the framework of the minimal supersymmetric extension of the Standard Model with local B − L gauge symmetry (B-LSSM), we analyze the lepton flavor violating (LFV) process of µ−e conversion in nuclei. Considering the constraint of the experimental upper limit of the LFV rare decay µ → eγ, the µ − e conversion rates in nuclei within the B-LSSM can achieve O(10−12), which is 5 orders of magnitude larger than the future experimental sensitivity at the Mu2e and COMET experiments and may be detected in the near future. © 2022, CC BY.

The spectrum and relativistic wave functions of Bc system are investigated via solving the complete Salpeter equation. Emphases are put on the study of the partial waves of each JP state. Our study shows that there are three categories of JP states. The first category contains 0− and 0+ states, which are 1S0 dominant state with a small amount of P wave and 3P0 dominant state with a small amount of S wave, respectively. The second category includes the natural parity states, such as 1−, 2+, 3−, etc. Taking the 1− state as an example, we study it in two cases. One is the 3S1 dominant state with a small amount of P and D waves, and the other is the 3D1 dominant state but contains a large amount of S and P wave components. The third category includes the unnatural parity states, such as 1+, 2−, 3+, etc. For the 1+ spectrum, the states are grouped into pairs with different radial quantum numbers. Each pair contains two 1P1 − 3P1 mixing states, and the corresponding mixing angles are calculated by using the relativistic wave functions. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

We choose the Reduction Formula, PCAC and Low Energy theory to reduce the S matrix of a OZI allowed two-body strong decay involving a light pseudoscalar, the covariant transition amplitude formula with relativistic wave functions as input is derived. After confirm this method by the decay D∗(2010) → Dπ, we study the newly observed Ds0(2590)+ with supposing it to be the state Ds(21S0)+, we find its decay width Γ is highly sensitive to the Ds0(2590)+ mass, which result in the meaningless comparison of widths by different models with various input masses. Instead of width, we studied the overlap integral over the wave functions of initial and final states, here we parameterized it as X which is model-independent, and the ratio (Equation presented), both are almost mass independent, to give us useful information. The results show that, all the existing theoretical predictions (Equation presented) and (Equation presented) MeV−2 are smaller than experimental data (Equation prsented) and (Equation prsented) MeV−2. Further compared with (Equation presented), the current data (Equation presented) is too big to be an reasonable value, so it is early to say Ds0(2590)+ is the conventional Ds(21S0)+ meson.
