The partial waves of and their contributions in strong decays

The relativistic Bethe–Salpeter method is adopted to study the OZI-allowed strong decays of the $$2^+$$ state $$B^{*}_{2}(5747)^{0}$$ , with emphasis on the relativistic corrections. We first study the partial waves in the wave functions used and find that there are P, D, and F partial waves in the $$B^{*}_{2}(5747)^{0}$$ meson, with ratios of $$P/D/F=1:0.421:0.051$$ . We also find that $$S/P/D=1:0.354:0.046$$ for $$B^*$$ , and $$S/P=1:0.343$$ for the B meson. The large components of the D wave in $$B^{*}_{2}(5747)^{0}$$ and the P wave in $$B^{(*)}$$ mean that large relativistic effects exist in these states. Second, we calculate the strong decays, and the total decay width $$\Gamma (B^{*}_{2}(5747)^{0})=25.9$$ MeV and the branching fraction $$\Gamma (B^{*}_{2}(5747)^{0} \rightarrow B^{*}\pi )$$ / $$\Gamma (B^{*}_{2}(5747)^{0} \rightarrow B\pi )=0.96$$ obtained are consistent with experimental data. Third, we study the contributions of different partial waves in the initial and final wave functions, and find that the relativistic effects are about $$15\%$$ and $$11\%$$ for $$B^{*}_{2}(5747)^{0} \rightarrow B\pi $$ and $$B^{*}_{2}(5747)^{0} \rightarrow B^{*}\pi $$ , respectively, which are much smaller than our expected effects, showing that the relativistic corrections cancel each other in these decays.

Carbon dots (CDs), known for their notable fluorescence, cost-effectiveness, and eco-friendliness, hold substantial promise in versatile applications. However, existing one-pot strategies using biomass precursors predominantly yield blue-green emissive CDs, and achieving multicolor emission (especially red) remains challenging. In this work, four distinct fluorescent CDs (blue, green, yellow, and red) were synthesized via a one-pot solvothermal method using a synergistic natural/synthetic precursor system (Radix Saposhnikoviae and p-phenylenediamine). Systematic characterization revealed that the emission red shift (450 nm to 626 nm) is primarily governed by increased carbonization degree, as evidenced by the gradual enhancement of graphitic nitrogen content and sp 2 domain ordering. The synthetic precursor (p-phenylenediamine) drives carbon core growth and graphitization, while the natural biomass (Radix Saposhnikoviae) facilitates multi-scale carbonization control, enabling color diversification in a single pot. By integrating the four CDs with silicone resin on a 395 nm UV chip, we fabricated a warm white LED with high-quality white light with CIE chromatic coordinates (0.36, 0.35) and correlated color temperature 4428 K, demonstrating their practical potential in solid-state lighting.

$$R_{D^{(*)}}$$ is the ratio of branching ratio $$\overline{B} \rightarrow D^{(*)}\tau \overline{\nu }_{\tau }$$ to $$\overline{B} \rightarrow D^{(*)}l\overline{\nu }_{l}~(l=e,~\mu )$$ . There is a gap of 2 $$\sigma _{exp}$$ or more between its experimental value and the prediction under the standard model (SM). People extend the MSSM with the local gauge group $$U(1)_X$$ to obtain the $$U(1)_X$$ SSM. Compared with MSSM, $$U(1)_X$$ SSM has more superfields and effects. In $$U(1)_X$$ SSM, we research the semileptonic decays $$\overline{B} \rightarrow D^{(*)}l\overline{\nu }_{l}$$ and calculate $$R_{D^{(*)}}$$ . The numerical results of $$R_{D^{(*)}}$$ are further corrected under $$U(1)_X$$ SSM, which are much better than the SM predictions. After correction, the theoretical value of $$R_{D^{(*)}}$$ can reach one $$\sigma _{exp}$$ range of the averaged experiment central value.

Recently,the Muon g-2 experiment at Fermilab.measured the muon anomalous magnetic dipole moment(MDM),aμ=(gμ-2)/2,and reported that the new experimental average increases the difference between the experiment and the standard model(SM)prediction to 4.2σ.In this work,we reanalyze the muon anomalous MDM at the two-loop level in theμfrom theνSupersymmetric Standard Model(μνSSM)combined with the updated experimental ***μνSSM can explain the current difference between the experimental measurement and the SM theoretical prediction for the muon anomalous MDM,constrained by the 125 GeV Higgs boson mass and decays,the rare decayˉB→Xsγ,and so *** also investigate the anomalous MDM of the electron and tau lepton,ae=(ge-2)/2 and aτ=(gτ-2)/2,at the two-loop level in theμν*** addition,the decaying of the 125 GeV Higgs boson into a pair of charged leptons in theμνSSM is analyzed.

BiFeO_(3)-BaTiO_(3) based ceramics are considered to be the most promising lead-free piezoelectric ceramics due to their large piezoelectric response and high Curie *** the piezoelectric response of piezoelectric ceramics just appears after poling engineering,in this work,the domain evolution and microscopic piezoresponse were observed in-situ using piezoresponse force microscopy(PFM)and switching spectroscopy piezoresponse force microscopy(SS-PFM),which can effectively study the local switching characteristics of ferroelectric materials especially at the *** new domain nucleation preferentially forms at the boundary of the relative polarization region and expands laterally with the increase of bias voltage and *** maximum piezoresponse(Rs),remnant piezoresponse(Rrem),maximum displacement(Dmax)and negative displacement(Dneg)at 45 V and 120C reach 122,69,127 pm and 75 pm,*** to the distinct effect of poling engineering in full domain switching,the corresponding d33 at 50 kV/cm and 120C reaches a maximum of 205 pC/N,which is nearly twice as high as that at room *** the evolution of ferroelectric domains in the poling engineering of BiFeO_(3)-BaTiO_(3)ceramics provides an insight into the relationship between domain structure and piezoelectric response,which has implications for other piezoelectric ceramics as well.

Neutralino dark matter in the extension of MSSM with two triplets and singlet

In an extension of MSSM with two triplets and a singlet, called the TNMSSM, there are seven neutralinos which can enrich the study of cold dark matter if one expects that the weakly interacting massive particle (WIMP) is responsible for the observation of Planck satellite. Such a model, compared to the MSSM, can naturally offer a solution to the µ problem, and its lightest neutralino, which is bino-like, can also provide a correct relic density by using the coannihilation mechanism due to the newly added triplinos. Taking into account the related experimental measurements, such as the bound on the SM-like Higgs mass, the B meson rare decays, the anomalous magnetic moment of the muon aµ, the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) measurements and the latest dark matter direct detection experiment LUX-ZEPLIN (LZ), the TNMSSM parameter space can be strictly limited. In respect to all the constraints mentioned above, we find that a bino-like neutralino with a mass in the region [100, 450] GeV can successfully account for the correct dark matter relic density. Additionally, most of the viable parameter space can be tested in the near future experiments such as the Xenon-nT experiment or LHC. © 2024, CC BY.

Photoluminescence Properties and Mn4+ → Tm3+ Energy Transfer of La0.557li0.33tio3: Mn4+, Tm3+ for Thermometry and Nir-Led applications

Over the span of years, Mn4+-doped red phosphors have been utilized to meaningful optoelectronic devices due to their outstanding optical properties, and Tm3+ usually is an activator ion because of its efficient up-conversion emission, but inverse processes are rarely used. Herein, we have successful synthesized a series of novel La0.557Li0.33Ti1-xO3:xMn4+ (x = 0.1%-7%) phosphors. The photoluminescence properties have been detailed analysis. Using Mn4+-Tm3+ co-doped strategy, we successfully synthesis La0.557-yLi0.33Ti0.993O3:0.7%Mn4+, yTm3+ phosphors. upon excitation with 360 nm light, it exhibits two distinct emission peaks at 729 nm and 806 nm. The emission intensity of Tm3+ was greatly improved after Mn4+ doping, which is due to the energy transfer of Mn4+ to Tm3+. In terms of potential applications, utilizing fluorescence intensity ratio technology, La0.551Li0.33Ti0.993O3:0.7%Mn4+,0.6%Tm3+ exhibits maximum absolute and relative sensitivities of 3.25% K-1 and 3.49% K-1, thereby demonstrating its potential for application in optical thermometry. Furthermore, The NIR-LED using phosphor and 365 nm chips reveal potential applications of the La0.551Li0.33Ti0.993O3:Mn4+,Tm3+ phosphor in NIR night vision and biosensing. © 2024, The Authors. Top quark decays in the flavor-dependent model

The branching ratios of the flavor changing top quark decays in the SM are too small to be detected experimentally. Therefore, any observable signal for these processes at the LHC would serve as compelling evidence for new physics. In the flavor-dependent $$U(1)_X$$ model, a newly introduced Higgs singlet interacts directly with the quark sector and mixes with the SM-like Higgs, influencing the $$t\rightarrow ch$$ and $$t\rightarrow uh$$ process. Additionally, the flavor dependence of the $$U(1)_X$$ charge affect the $$t\rightarrow cZ$$ process. In this work, we investigate these process within the framework of the flavor-dependent $$U(1)_X$$ model. Numerical results indicates that with suitable choices of new physics parameters, the branching ratios of these processes in the flavor-dependent $$U(1)_X$$ model can be significantly enhanced. Specifically, the branching ratios of $$t\rightarrow ch$$ and $$t\rightarrow uh$$ can reach the order of $$10^{-4}$$ in some chosen parameter spaces, which is close to the current experimental upper limit. This suggests that these processes have significant opportunities to be observed experimentally, and the parameter space of the model will face constraints from the experimental upper bounds.

The leptonic di-flavor violation (LFV) processes μ^(±)μ^(±)→e^(±)e^(±) and μ^(±)μ^(±)→τ^(±)τ^(±) and leptonic di-number violation (LNV) processes μ^(±)μ^(±)→W_(i)^(±)W_(j)^(±) (i,j=1,2) at same-sign high energy μ^(±)μ^(±) colliders are studied. The new physics (NP) factors that may play roles in these processes are highlighted by cataloging them into three types. Taking into account the experimental constraints, the processes at μ^(±)μ^(±) colliders are computed, and the results are presented properly. The results lead to the conclusion that observing the NP factors through the LFV and LNV processes at TeV-energy μ^(±)μ^(±) colliders has significant advantages that cannot be achieved elsewhere. Therefore, once the techniques for muon acceleration and collision are developed successfully, the option of building same-sign high energy muon colliders should be seriously considered.

热电技术可以实现热能与电能的相互转换,其开发利用对于缓解能源危机具有重要意义.近10年来,SnSe因其潜在的高能量转换效率、绿色环保和低成本特性而备受关注.但SnSe的固有载流子浓度低(约10~(17)cm^(-3)),导致其功率因子偏低,从而限制了SnSe基器件的输出功率密度.因此,探索新的载流子浓度优化策略对于SnSe的应用至关重要.此外,与三维块体相比,二维薄膜更易和现代半导体工艺相兼容,在热电微纳米器件的构筑和应用方面具有独特优势.本文报道了一种利用非原位硒化技术,通过电荷转移和自空穴掺杂效应来优化a轴取向SnSe基薄膜的载流子浓度.当硒化时间为20 min时,薄膜载流子浓度可提高至10~(18)cm^(-3)数量级,形成了准层状的自空穴掺杂SnSe基薄膜,其功率因子在600 K时达到了5.9μW cm^(-1)K^(-2).由硒化处理的SnSe基取向薄膜构筑的热电发电机在50和90 K的温差下分别具有约83、838μW cm^(-2)的超高功率密度.非原位硒化技术可以有效提高SnSe基薄膜的载流子浓度,为其他热电材料性能优化提供了一种新策略.
