This paper deals with the relaxation stability analysis and event-triggered controller design of discrete-time positive Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy networked control systems (FNCSs). The constraints of positive conditions in NCSs bring significant challenges to stability analysis and controller design. A 1-norm event-triggered scheme is proposed for the positive system, which can effectively reduce the frequency of network communication. Since the event-triggered T-S fuzzy controller (ETTSFC) can only observe the latest transmission state after the triggering action, the ETTSFC selects the premise variables different from the T-S fuzzy model, improving design and implementation flexibility. Using the linear copositive Lyapunov function (LCLF), the design criteria of the event-triggered controller to ensure the positivity and stability of the closed-loop system are derived. To relax the sum-of-squares (SOS) based conservative condition, we adopt the Taylor series membership functions (TSMFs) and introduce TSMFs and their approximation error into the stability conditions. Finally, an example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the design.

Relay selection (RS) and power control are two essential parts in cooperative cognitive relay network. RS is equal to power control in the condition that a relay cooperates with its full power or doesn't cooperate at all. So the optimal signal-to noise ratio (SNR) value is described as a 0-1 nonlinear programming integer problem (NLIP). In this paper, a multiple relay selection (MRS) scheme based on artificial bee colony algorithm (ABC) is proposed that can fully obtain optimal SNR value. Simulations show the performance of MRS scheme by ABC algorithm is better than that of exhaustive search, single RS scheme and other sub optimal MRS schemes.

Job-shop scheduling problem is the core link and key technology to realize smart factory and develop smart manufacturing technology. Among them, the flexible job-shop scheduling problem (FJSP) which is more consistent with the actual production and processing mode has been focused. This paper proposes an improved seagull optimization algorithm(ISOA) for solving the FJSP. The ISOA uses chaos initialization and reverse learning to optimize initial population, and introduces Q-learning to change the fitting parameters to balance global search and local search. In addition, we propose a local search model that is adaptive iterative process to enhance the algorithm's optimization search capability. The results of the experiment proved that the algorithm is superior in terms of optimization speed and scheduling results.

This study explores polynomial Markov positive fuzzy systems, formulating controllers for these systems by examining the prerequisites for positivity and stochastic stability. Initially, polynomials are incorporated into the Markov positive fuzzy system to represent nonlinear elements better and enhance its capacity to model nonlinear systems. Concurrently, the study discusses the non-convex scenarios encountered in the stability analysis of the closed-loop system once the positive fuzzy system controller is integrated and confirms the stability of the Markov polynomial positive fuzzy system. Ultimately, the effectiveness of the proposed approaches is demonstrated through a numerical simulation example.

While null space based linear discriminant analysis (NLDA) obtains a good discriminant performance, the ability easily suffers from an implicit assumption of Gaussian model with same covariance each class. Meanwhile, mixture model discriminant analysis, which is a good way for processing issues on multiple subclasses in each class, depends on human experience on the number of subclasses and has a highly complex iterative process. Considering the cons and pros of the two mentioned approaches, we therefore propose a new algorithm, called Spectral clustering based Null space Linear Discriminant Analysis (SNLDA). The main contributions of the algorithm include the following three aspects: 1) Employing a new spectral clustering method which can automatically detect the number of clusters in each class. 2) Finding a unified null space for processing multi-subclasses issues with eigen-solution technique. 3) Refining the calculation of the covariance matrix in a single sample subclass. The experimental results show the promising of the proposed SNLDA algorithm. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.

This brief investigates the data-driven stabilization for a class of unknown switched linear systems in both continuous and discrete time. We assume that the switching signal is known but the system matrices of each subsystem are unknown and belong to some sets described by finite noisy input-state data. Data-driven parameterization of each unknown subsystem is built on the instantaneous bound of the external disturbance rather than the energy bound. The closed-loop stability is guaranteed by adopting a controller-mode-dependent Lyapunov function and the resulting stability conditions are data-based rather than model-based. The switching signals are arbitrary as long as they satisfy the average dwell time (ADT) condition that derived from noisy data. Two numerical examples are presented to illustrate how to enhance the feasibility of the proposed methods. © 2024 Technical Committee on control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.

In this paper, an extended state observer (ESO) based data-driven set-point learning control (DDSPLC) scheme is proposed for nonlinear batch processes configured with an inherent PD-type control loop, so as to actively suppress the adverse effect of nonrepetitive external disturbances and nonidentical initial resetting conditions, by only utilizing the availab.e process input/output data. The controlled process is firstly reformulated as an iterative dynamic linearization data model (IDLDM) with an extra generalized disturbance, where the unknown pseudo partial derivative and the generalized disturbance are, respectively, estimated by a projection-like algorithm and iterative ESO along the batch direction. By virtue of the estimated PPD and generalized disturbance, a set-point learning updating law with adaptive learning gain is then developed to optimize the tracking performance from batch-to-batch, by tuning the set-point command of the closed-loop PD-type control. Robust convergence analysis for the established closed-loop learning system is analyzed rigorously. The effectiveness and superiority of the proposed scheme are verified by an illustrative example. © 2024 IEEE.

Conventional long baseline interferometer based Direction of Arrival (DOA) requires multi-group long baselines and short baselines to deblur. In this paper, only using the time difference of arrival (TDOA) data of long baseline interferometer can cancel the debluring shortage and achieve high-precision DOA estimation. Meanwhile iterative filtering algorithm is adopted to extract high-precision changing rate of phase difference from the fuzzy phase difference data of long baseline. Combined with the measured DF and the change rate of phase difference, particle filter algorithm is utilized to achieve high-precision single-station passive location. Parameter measurement and the distribution of location error are verified through theoretical simulations. And the simulation results demonstrate the efficiency of the single-station location method based on long baseline interferometer. © 2014 IEEE.

Based on Lyapunov stability theorem, a MRAC system was researched to solve that differential value of plant output is unknown. Meanwhile an improved design for MRAC system aimed on the factor of restricting convergence of system is given. The method not only solves the problem that makes the system can not work well as a result of the adjustable parameters, but also improves the convergence of plant. The simulation graphs have shown that the plant can follow the output of the reference model quit well

Base on the the high performance requirements of permanent magnet synchronous motor(PMSM) speed servo system for non-sinusoidal oscillation control system of continuous casting mold, a global dynamic sliding mode(GDSM) control method is proposed, The reaching law of the sliding mode is designed by exponential fast terminal sliding mode(EFTSM) method and the controllers could effectively diminish chattering by designing the first derivative of control output which contains discontinuous function of sliding mode control; Considers the time variation of parameters perturbation and load disturbance of PMSM, a extended state observer (ESO) is constructed to observe the dynamic observation of total system perturbation and conduct feedforward compensation; theoretical analysis shows that the closed-loop system is global bounded stability; The simulated results show that the static and dynamic performance of the PMSM speed servo control system can be significantly improved by using the proposed method.
