Obstacle avoidance is a significant research content in multi-agents formation control. The obstacle avoidance of multi-agents systems is investigated in this paper, and an improved artificial potential field method (IAPF) is proposed to avoid unknown obstacles in multi-agent formation. Aiming at improving the efficiency of formation avoidance and solving the non-reachable and local minima problems, the dynamic sub-target algorithm is proposed. The proposed method enables the multi-agent system (MASs) to avoid obstacles smoothly and quickly and complete formation tasks in complex environments by tracking dynamic sub-target as well, in which the position and motion direction of adjacent agents are taken into account in the selection of a sub-target for the formation efficiency. In addition, a variable potential field range is defined to ensure the safety of the formation. Finally, several simulation results verify the superiority and effectiveness of the proposed approach.

To deal with the problems caused by unmatched uncertainties and external load disturbance exist in mill hydraulic servo position system, a robust adaptive controller design method is presented in this paper. The controller is composed of a state feedback controller and an adaptive compensator, the state feedback controller is obtained by solving a Riccati equation, and the compensator is obtained by estimating the upper bounds of the unknown external disturbances. It is proved that the global asymptotic stability of the resulting closed-loop system can be guaranteed. Finally, simulation results for the mill hydraulic servo position system illustrate the validity of the proposed algorithm. © 2011 Chinese Assoc of Automati.

A robust predictive control algorithm based on memory state feedback is proposed for a class of uncertain discrete time system with input constraint and multiple state delays. By introducing Lyapunov-Krasovskii function and using linear matrix inequality (LMI) method, the algorithm can convert the infinite time domain optimization problems into linear programming problems. Sufficient conditions of the existence and explicit expression for the memory state feedback controller are obtained, and the control input can satisfy constraint as well. Asymptotical stability of the closed-loop system and minimum of robust performance index can be guaranteed simultaneously. Finally, the simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm. © 2011 Chinese Assoc of Automati.

In view of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm's shortages of easily trapping into local optimum and premature convergence, an improvement research from the perspective of interaction mechanism among particles is made in this paper. Consider advantages and disadvantages of the current improved PSO algorithms from the aspect of force, the two-stage force particle swarm optimization (TFPSO) algorithm is proposed. The proposed algorithm, which employs staged search strategy to achieve a trade-off between global exploration and local exploitation abilities, divides search process into two stages and constructs corresponding force rules combining with the idea of attractive and repulsive forces in artificial physics. In order to demonstrate the performance of the proposed algorithm in solving optimization problems, TFPSO algorithm is compared with some well-known PSO algorithms in reliability optimization for hydraulic system. Comparison results show that TFPSO algorithm obtains the best optimization results and enhances the performance of PSO in terms of accuracy of the optimal solution and local search ability.

In view of the problem that the state estimation contains fault values when detecting sensor faults containing noise based on the Kalman filter algorithm,a sensor fault detection method based on adaptive weighted fusion is proposed in this *** adaptive weighted fusion algorithm gives different weights to several groups of measurement output data to generate the measurement output without ***,the composite embedded cubature Kalman filter algorithm is used to get the state estimation without faults,which will make the mean or variance of the generated residuals change,so as to realize fault ***,the single-link direct drive manipulator system driven by permanent magnet brush DC motor is simulated and *** results show that,compared with the CECKF algorithm alone,the proposed method can eliminate the faults contained in the Kalman filter state estimation,and detect all the output sensor faults more effectively.

In light of the problems that particle filter based on particle swarm optimization（PSO-PF） algorithm is easy to fall into the local optimum in the state estimation of complex nonlinear systems, an improved particle swarm optimization particle filter algorithm based on harmony search（HSPSO-PF） is proposed. The optimal value of each individual in the particle swarm algorithm is equivalent to a variable in the harmony memory（HM） in the harmony search algorithm. On the one hand, the idea of generating solutions in harmony search algorithm is used to update the matrix that is composed of particles’ optimal solutions in the iteration of PSO. And the harmony memory consideration rate is adjusted to ensure that the source of solution generation is not limited to the HM, so that the PSO can search for the global optimal solution. On the other hand, the pitch adjustment rate and the fine-tuning bandwidth are adjusted to improve the local search ability of the PSO. Simulation results under Gaussian and non-Gaussian show that HSPSO-PF can effectively improve the estimation accuracy of the particle filtering algorithm, and has extensive adaptability.

A novel super-twisting control method is proposed for a class of third-order systems with matched Lipschitz disturbance in this paper. The proposed method ensures finite-time convergence to the fourth-order sliding set, by using a homogeneous, continuously differentiable and strict Lyapunov function. Finally, numerical simulation results are shown to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Frequency synthesizer plays an important role in frequency hopping communication system. In this paper, we derivate the conditions for a system to become the chaotic based on the phase model of phase-locked synthesizer. We found that the system parameter changing during the frequency switching is able to make the system to be chaotic. Based on the Cao's method [5], we find that the fractal dimension of the transient signals should be equal to or less than 4, which also provides the maximal positive Lyapunov exponent. In addition, the unique double-ring attractor of them is also reproduced through the phase reconstruction, which also implies that the frequency switching will result in a chaotic for Frequency-Hopping Communication system.

Rail fasteners, a key component of a railway track, are used to connect the rail and the sub-rail foundation together with the required degree of elasticity. Severely loose or failed fasteners may lead to serious safety hazards for rail transportation. However, current strategies for determining fastener looseness are mainly implemented manually, which is lab.r-intensive, inefficient and less-than-objective. In this paper, we propose a system that uses a MEMS acceleration meter and a wireless data transmission technique to detect railway fasteners. Vibration was generated by hitting the rail with a hammer. Then the acceleration data was transmitted to the cloud by the Global System for Mobile Communications (GSM) technique. The fastener looseness was analyzed using power spectrum entropy and frequency domain analysis. Results from the field experiments show that our method can identify the fastener's loosening state accurately and automatically. This wireless, low-cost fastener inspection system is expected to provide an effective approach to improving the efficiency of regular railway maintenance..

This paper reports a novel electrochemical method for the detection of insulin in ultra-pure water. A screen printed electrode (SPE) modified by Nickel hydroxide was used as the working electrode, one with good activity of electro-catalytic oxidation-reduction for insulin. The SPE was modified by Nickel hydroxide using the electrodeposition method. The results showed that Nickel hydroxide was homogeneously electrodeposited on the surface of the working electrode. A coin-size electrolytic tank was fabricated with PDMS, which only requires 0.3ml of sample for the detection. The concentration of insulin was analyzed using the methods of Cyclic voltammetry (CV), Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) and Chronoamperometry (i-t). The Nickel hydroxide used for detecting insulin showed good analytical characteristics, such as a high sensitivity of 14.797μA·μM -1 , a good linear detection range of 100nM-5μM, and a low detection limit of 93nM. This nickel hydroxide modified SPE electrode has a much smaller size and is easier to fabricate than traditional electrodes, making it a much more promising candidate for an insulin sensor.
