With the rapid progress of generative models, the current challenge in face forgery detection is how to effectively detect realistic manipulated faces from different unseen domains. Though previous studies show that pre-trained Vision Transformer (ViT) based models can achieve some promising results after fully fine-tuning on the Deepfake dataset, their generalization performances are still unsatisfactory. One possible reason is that fully fine-tuned ViT-based models may disrupt the pre-trained features [1], [2] and overfit to some data-specific patterns [3]. To alleviate this issue, we present a Forgery-aware Adaptive Vision Transformer (FA-ViT) under the adaptive learning paradigm, where the parameters in the pre-trained ViT are kept fixed while the designed adaptive modules are optimized to capture forgery features. Specifically, a global adaptive module is designed to model long-range interactions among input tokens, which takes advantage of self-attention mechanism to mine global forgery clues. To further explore essential local forgery clues, a local adaptive module is proposed to expose local inconsistencies by enhancing the local contextual association. In addition, we introduce a fine-grained adaptive learning module that emphasizes the common compact representation of genuine faces through relationship learning in fine-grained pairs, driving these proposed adaptive modules to be aware of fine-grained forgery-aware information. Extensive experiments demonstrate that our FA-ViT achieves state-of-the-arts results in the cross-dataset evaluation, and enhances the robustness against unseen perturbations. Particularly, FA-ViT achieves 93.83% and 78.32% AUC scores on Celeb-DF and DFDC datasets in the cross-dataset evaluation. LasHeR: A large-scale high-diversity benchmark for RGBT tracking

RGBT tracking receives a surge of interest in the computer vision community, but this research field lacks a large-scale and high-diversity benchmark dataset, which is essential for both the training of deep RGBT trackers and the comprehensive evaluation of RGBT tracking methods. To this end, we present a Large-scale High-diversity benchmark for short-term RGBT tracking (LasHeR) in this work. LasHeR consists of 1224 visible and thermal infrared video pairs with more than 730K frame pairs in total. Each frame pair is spatially aligned and manually annotated with a bounding box, making the dataset well and densely annotated. LasHeR is highly diverse capturing from a broad range of object categories, camera viewpoints, scene complexities and environmental factors across seasons, weathers, day and night. We conduct a comprehensive performance evaluation of 12 RGBT tracking algorithms on the LasHeR dataset and present detailed analysis. In addition, we release the unaligned version of LasHeR to attract the research interest for alignment-free RGBT tracking, which is a more practical task in real-world applications. The feasibility of an antenna-in-package (AiP) concept is demonstrated for automotive radar sensors at the 77 GHz-band. Multi-interactive dual-decoder for RGB-thermal salient object detection

RGB-thermal salient object detection (SOD) aims to segment the common prominent regions of visible image and corresponding thermal infrared image that we call it RGBT SOD. Existing methods don’t fully explore and exploit the potentials of complementarity of different modalities and multi-type cues of image contents, which play a vital role in achieving accurate results. In this paper, we propose a multi-interactive dual-decoder to mine and model the multi-type interactions for accurate RGBT SOD. In specific, we first encode two modalities into multi-level multi-modal feature representations. Then, we design a novel dual-decoder to conduct the interactions of multi-level features, two modalities and global contexts. With these interactions, our method works well in diversely challenging scenarios even in the presence of invalid modality. Finally, we carry out extensive experiments on public RGBT and RGBD SOD datasets, and the results show that the proposed method achieves the outstanding performance against state-of-the-art algorithms. In order to meet the requirements of the navigation system for antennas with wide 3-dB AR beam-width, this paper proposes an axial-ratio beam-width enhancement of antenna based on electromagnetic bandgap (EBG). The effect of surface wave on the circular polarization of the antenna is suppressed by loading two layers of mushroom-like EBG unit cells around the patch. The loading of the EBG increases the 3-dB AR beam-width of the antenna by 78% in the xoz plane and the by 84% in the yoz plane, the simulation and test results demonstrate the effectiveness of this method.

RGB and thermal source data suffer from both shared and specific challenges, and how to explore and exploit them plays a critical role to represent the target appearance in RGBT tracking. In this paper, we propose a novel challenge-aware neural network to handle the modality-shared challenges (e.g., fast motion, scale variation and occlusion) and the modality-specific ones (e.g., illumination variation and thermal crossover) for RGBT tracking. In particular, we design several parameter-shared branches in each layer to model the target appearance under the modality-shared challenges, and several parameter-independent branches under the modality-specific ones. Based on the observation that the modality-specific cues of different modalities usually contains the complementary advantages, we propose a guidance module to transfer discriminative features from one modality to another one, which could enhance the discriminative ability of some weak modality. Moreover, all branches are aggregated together in an adaptive manner and parallel embedded in the backbone network to efficiently form more discriminative target representations. These challenge-aware branches are able to model the target appearance under certain challenges so that the target representations can be learnt by a few parameters even in the situation of insufficient training data. From the experimental results we will show that our method operates at a real-time speed while performing well against the state-of-the-art methods on three benchmark datasets. A low-profile circularly polarized Metasurfaces antenna based on compact coplanar waveguide (CPW) feed was proposed. The Metasurfaces consists of 16 periodic square-cut metal patches. An hourglass coupled slot was adopted to achieve broadband impedance matching. The antenna has a simple structure and a low cross section, and it can be implemented by a layer of a printed circuit substrate. A circular polarized wave is generated by changing the size of the cut angle of the Metasurfaces, and at the same time, the impedance bandwidth can be widened. To verify the simulation results, a 1λ 0 ×1λ 0 ×0.05λ 0 (at 10 GHz) model antenna was fabricated and measured. The simulation and measurement results show good consistency. The test results show that the -10dB return loss bandwidth reaches 45.3 %, and the circular polarization axis ratio(AR) is less than 3dB with a bandwidth of 18.5%.

This paper proposes a dual-band antenna based on the electromagnetic band gap structure suitable for WLAN communication systems. The proposed antenna is designed to work at 2.45/5.8 GHz WLAN band. By loading the EBG structure directly below a dual-frequency monopole antenna, the in-phase superposition of electromagnetic waves at the center frequency of the antenna is achieved. The antenna exhibits high gains of near 8.0 and 12.0 dB at the low and high working frequencies while maintaining the low profile characteristics.

A hybrid twelve-antenna array operating in the 3.3-3.6 GHz and 4.8-5.0 GHz band for multiple input multiple output (MIMO) applications in 5G smartphones is proposed. The proposed hybrid antenna array elements are symmetrically placed along the long edges of the smartphone, and they are composed of two inverted-F antennas (IFA) with different structural parameters. Simulated antenna isolation is better than -14.5 dB without any decoupling structures. Moreover, simulated radiation patterns, antenna efficiencies, and envelop correlation coefficients are also given in the paper.

Due to the limitation of hardware resources, the traditional people flow monitoring system based on computer vision in public places can't meet different crowd-scale scenarios. Therefore, a people flow monitoring system based on MD-MCNN algorithm is designed, which is an application system combining the improved SSD object detection algorithm MNSSD and MCNN density map regression algorithm. In the initial stage, the system uses MNSSD for accurate detection and counting. If the people flow gradually reaches a certain threshold, the system automatically uses MCNN to estimate people flow until the people flow falls below the threshold. Through the experimental verification, the system can realize the people flow statistics of low-density and high-density people in different scenarios, and can be applied on the existing embedded platform. This scheme can be extended to smart cities, smart scenic spots, smart transportation and other fields. © 2020 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
