Multiuser-based gray-level watermarking sharing system

A novel watermarking sharing system having the ability of sharing gray-level secret images with multi-user is proposed. Multiple-based number system is used to split the secret into n meaningless shares, each share is embedded into respective cover image with controlled distortion and to be assigned to each user afterwards. The architecture of the proposed watermarking system is an open issue, which means the system is easy to be implemented according to the purposes and concerns of the users. The main feature of the proposed system is sharing a secret of gray-level image among multi-users;another application of such system is ownership verification. To reveal the secret, the necessary amount of shares has to be presented. That is, the secret can be recovered even if some shares were lost. Simulation results show that the recovered secret has robustness against a wide range of imaging processing operations. © 2009 ACADEMY PUBLISHER.

This paper describes a new algorithm for image semi-supervised clustering. In particular, the proposed approach introduces corner-oriented attributed graphs(COAG) constructed based on modified Harris corner extraction method to represent structure objects . 2D-Laplacianface is used to reduce the dimension of feature matrix obtained from COAG. Feature vector is built just from the output of dimensionality reduction. This vector denotes the input to the classifier. Semisupervised k-mean clustering method (S2KMCM) is carried out as semi-clustering method. Experimental results show that COAG can preserve the structure information of image and S2KFCM can be applied to both clustering and classification tasks by lab.led and unlab.led data together. © 2006 IEEE.

Nowadays, the efficient representation of a given shape plays a significant role in pattern recognition field. In this paper, we introduce a novel method to represent 2-D shape as a relation graph which using affine-invariant Fourier. This presentation method has invariance properties, such as scaling, shifting, rotation and starting point. Then edit distance is used to measure the distance between graphs. Embedding and recognition experiments are carried out to test the performance of affine-invariant Fourier based weighted graph(AFWG). Experimental results show that AFWG can preserve the shape feature well and can be applied to shape-related application. © 2006 IEEE.

Joint relay selection and power allocation protocol for two-way relaying system

The Joint Relay Selection and Power Allocation (JRSPA) for Amplify-and-Forward (AF) relaying (JRSPA-AF) combines Power Allocation (PA) and Relay Selection (RS) very well in Two- Way Relaying (TWR) system. In order to explore the system performance of JRSPA-AF protocol, the outage probability and Diversity-Multiplexing Trade-off (DMT) of JRSPA-AF protocol are analysed. One upper bound, two lower bounds and approximate expressions of outage probability along with the DMT are derived. Based on this, the idea of JRSPA is introduced into Decode-and- Forward (DF) relaying TWR system, and the JRSPA-DF protocol is proposed. Moreover, the exact expressions of outage probability and DMT for JRSPA-DF are derived. Simulations are developed to validate the analytical results, the results show that the approximation outage probability of JRSPA-AF can be used well to evaluate system outage probability over the entire transmission SNR region, and the analysis results of outage probability of JRSPA-DF are consistent with its simulation results. In addition, the simulation results indicate that JRSPA-DF can achieve lower outage probability than JRSPA-AF and other protocols. Copyright © 2019 Inderscience Enterprises Ltd.

Clear image stitching becomes mature now, but how to stitch blurred images with clear ones is still tough, mainly because of the ill-posed image deblurring. Existing deblurring methods assume spatial-invarint blur kernel, pixelwise constant blur kernel or planar camera motion. But these assumptions are difficult to hold in the real blurred image which is a spatial-variant blurred image by 3D camera motion. To overcome such limits for stitching blurred image, in this paper, we present a new feature based framework of stitching a clear/blurred image pair. It is inspired by recently proposed projetive warping models depicting the camera movement embedded in the capturing process of the blurred image. Our main contribution is a feature based algorithm for kernel estimation using the overlapped clear/blurred image pair. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed stitching method.© 2011 IEEE.

The cooperative transmission schemes based on the amplify and forward（AF） mode have the defect of low transmission rate and the exiting full-rate cooperative transmission schemes based on space-time code design have the defect of high detection ***,this paper makes the best of linear constellation precoding（LCP） technique and cyclic delay diversity（CDD） technique,and adopts the nonorthogonal amplify and forward（NAF） mode,finally proposes a new full-rate wireless cooperative transmission scheme based on space-time-frequency code *** with the cooperative transmission schemes that only pursue the transmission rate or the BER performance,this new scheme can apply to multi-relay scenario,and has the advantages of simple structure,low signal detection complexity that does not increases with the number of relay *** of above makes the real-time data transmission service of high quality come to be possible.

The Asymptotic Waveform Evaluation (AWE) technique is an extrapolation method that provides a reduced-order model of linear system and has already been successfully used to analyze wideband electromagnetic scattering problems. As the number of unknowns increases, the size of Method Of Moments (MOM) impedance matrix grows very rapidly, so it is a prohibitive task for the computation of wideband Radar Cross Section (RCS) from electrically large object or multi-objects using the traditional AWE technique that needs to solve directly matrix inversion. In this paper, an AWE technique based on the Characteristic Basis Function (CBF) method, which can reduce the matrix size to a manageable size for direct matrix inversion, is proposed to analyze electromagnetic scattering from multi-objects over a given frequency band. Numerical examples are presented to il-lustrate the computational accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.

We propose a novel and efficient SAR image despeckling via Bayesian shrinkage based on nonsubsampled contourlet transform, which has been recently introduced. Despeckling by means of contourlet transform introduce many visual artifacts due to the Gibbs-like phenomena. Nonsubsampled contourlet transform is a flexible multiscale, multidirection and shift-invariant image decomposition that can be efficiently implemented via transform. A Bayesian estimator is applied to the decomposed contourlet coefficients of the logarithmically transformed image to estimate the best value for the noise-free signal. Experimental results show that compared with conventional wavelet despeckling algorithm, the proposed algorithm can achieve an excellent balance between suppresses speckle effectively and preserves image details, and the significant information of original image like textures and contour details is well maintained. © 2010 IEEE.

Modelling mixtures of multivariate t-distributions are usually used instead of Gaussian mixture models(GMM) as a robust approach, when one fits a set of continuous multivariate data which have wider tail than Gaussian's or atypical observations, but it is unable to perform model selection automatically through the traditional EM (Expectation Maximization) algorithm. To solve this problem, a new algorithm, which is called Rival Penalized Expectation-Maximization (RPEM) algorithm, is proposed to t-mixture model (TMM). It can automatically select an appropriate number of densities in t-density mixture model. Experimental results on unsupervised color image segmentation demonstrate the affectivity of the proposed algorithm. © 2006 IEEE.

An efficient SAR image fusion algorithm for multi - polarimetric images based on Directionlets transform is proposed. Directionlets transform is a new lattice-based multiscale analysis anisotropic multi-directional wavelet transform. Firstly, several polarimetric images can be decomposed into lowfrequency coefficients and high-frequency coefficients with multiscales and multi-directions using the Directionlets transform. For the low-frequency coefficients, the average fusion method is used. For the each directional high frequency sub-band coefficients, the directive contrast and the larger value of region variance information measurement is used to select the better coefficients for fusion. At last the fused image can be obtained by utilizing inverse transform for fused Directionlets coefficients. Experimental results show that compared with traditional algorithm, the proposed algorithm can get better visual effect and the significant information of original image like textures and contour details is well maintained. © 2011 IEEE.
