Incorporating physics in human motion capture to avoid artifacts like floating, foot sliding, and ground penetration is a promising direction. Existing solutions always adopt kinematic results as reference motions, and the physics is treated as a postprocessing module. However, due to the depth ambiguity, monocular motion capture inevitably suffers from noises, and the noisy reference often leads to failure for physics-based tracking. To address the obstacles, our key-idea is to employ physics as denoising guidance in the reverse diffusion process to reconstruct physically plausible human motion from a modeled pose probability distribution. Specifically, we first train a latent gaussian model that encodes the uncertainty of 2D-to-3D lifting to facilitate reverse diffusion. Then, a physics module is constructed to track the motion sampled from the distribution. The discrepancies between the tracked motion and image observation are used to provide explicit guidance for the reverse diffusion model to refine the motion. With several iterations, the physics-based tracking and kinematic denoising promote each other to generate a physically plausible human motion. Experimental results show that our method outperforms previous physics-based methods in both joint accuracy and success rate. From the view of combination of stereo vision and robot control, an active stereo vision for object tracking and location system is built to work on flexible manufacturing system. A method based on local HSV image and shape of object to recognize object is used for robot tracking. After the color segment, use the knowledge of shape of objects to recognize objects. And a technique for camera calibration based on plane square is proposed. It only requires the camera to observe a square at two (or more) different unknown orientations. Use the result of object recognize and camera calibration the robot can position and track the object. At the last of the paper, the results of object tracking experiments prove that the method is correct.

Buildings are important contributors to energy consumption accounting for around one-third of energy consumed in cities, where large public buildings are the dominant energy consumers and energy consumption might be significantly decreased through Building Energy Management systems (BEMS). A supervisory and management system for energy conservation in large public buildings is presented in this paper, with a PC or a embedded computer system running a BEMS software designed to connected to distributed energy metering system, wireless sensor networks, even conventional building automation (BA) systems. The supervisory and management software consists of information inquiry, energy consumption metering, energy efficiency analysis and decision support subsystems. The system framework is introduced with development and application of the software described in detail.

It is a key issue in building operation management how to design an open and ubiquitous information system for diversity buildings of smart cities. This paper presents an operation management cloud ecosystem for smart buildings based on the technologies of Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing. It contains four levels: operation management application level, Internet of things platform, networking level, node level. The IoT platform provides hosting and computing, cloud storage, data storage for smart buildings. Networking level takes the responsibility for networking for intelligent hardware and smart terminals from the device level. With the building operation management applications, the cloud ecosystem is able to provide services of monitoring, controlling, management, and real-time optimization for smart buildings in cities.

This paper presents an imaging method for 360-degree panoramic view based on four wide angle *** order to complete the image mosaic,all the parameters such as focal length,principal point and distortion coefficients,etc are calibrated by our proposed calibration ***,our approach does not adopt the scheme which stitching all the images to the surrounding view after distortion *** proposed method directly calculates the mapping relationship between the wide-angle lens images and cylindrical projection images to generate lookup tables which can greatly simplifies the computation and reduces the loss of information in each ***,panoramic image is composed by image registration and image *** results show that this method is valid.

K-means clustering has been extremely popular in scene image classification. However, due to the random selection of initial cluster centers, the algorithm cannot always provide the most optimal results. In this paper, we develop a density-based k-means clustering. First, we calculate the density and distance for each feature vector. Then choose those features with high density and large distance as initial cluster centers. The remaining steps are the same with k-means. In order to evaluate our proposed algorithm, we have conducted several experiments on twoscene image datasets: Fifteen Scene Categories dataset and UIUC Sports Event dataset. The results show that our proposed method has good repeatability. Compared with the traditional k-means clustering, it can achieve higher classification accuracy when applied in multiclass scene image classification.

Pedestrian detection is a hot research topic in pattern recognition and computer vision. We combine MBBP（Multiscale Block Local Binary Patterns）feature and Histogram Intersection Kernel SVM and apply them to pedestrian detection. MBBP features, which make up for the lack of LBP（Local Binary Patterns） features in robustness, is a kind of effective texture description *** Intersection Kernel Support Vector Machine has the advantage of fast classification and high accuracy in object recognition. It can be used for further enhancing the system's real-time performance. The experiments show that the proposed approach has higher precision than the classical algorithm HOG+Linear SVM and the HOGBP Features Fusion tested on the established benchmarking datasets—INRIA.

There is a growing interest in subspace learning techniques for face recognition. This paper proposes a novel face recognition method based on MPCA with Gabor tensor representation. Although the Gabor face representation has achieved great success in face recognition, the excessive dimension of the data space often brings the algorithms into the curse of dimensionality dilemma. In this paper, we propose a 3rd-order Gabor tensor representation derived from a complete response set of 40 Gabor filters. Then MPCA(Multi-linear Principal Component Analysis) is applied to each Gabor tensor to extract three discriminative *** dimension reduction is done in such a way that most useful information is retained. The subspaces are finally integrated for classification. Experimental results on ORL database show promising results of the proposed method.

Reasonable timing design for traffic light can induce and maintain the transportation systems in good order. How to allocate the time are the keys. In the paper, the theory of time-varying universe is used to describe the circle time, and corresponding fuzzy sets on the universe are also discussed to modeling the situation of traffic flow, then the parallel traffic management and control methods which are dynamic with the time change are presented. A simulation example are provided to analyze the linguistic dynamic evolution of timing design of traffic light when the traffic flow is change with time-varying for an intersection.

In this paper the Morphological Quotient Image (MQI) based on close and open operation are compared, and the more effective operation is chosen. Furthermore, the influence of template size to recognition rate is studied. For different size of face images, the optimal template is obtained by experiment using Yale face database B. The optimal template is tested using CMU-PIE database and the experimental result is encouraging.
