Elastic modulus is an important parameter to reflect the status of the cell. In this work, the elastic modulus of liquid and cancer cell were studied based on the delay line type surface acoustic wave (SAW) device. Firstly, the finite element method (FEM) was used to analyse and design the sensor, a cavity was etched on the propagation path. After the acoustic wave transmit through the cavity, the transmission parameter was disturbed by the material in the cavity. The phase shift of the S21 parameter of the SAW sensor was used to detect the elastic modulus of liquid or cell in the cavity. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

In this paper, a compact broadband amplifier is realized based on 65nm CMOS technology. The three differential CMOS pairs adopt the common source (CS) structure, rely on the capacitance neutralization technology and use the transformer for impedance transformation to achieve ultra-wideband matching. The simulation results show that in FR2 frequency band (24.26 - 52.6GHz), the output gain of the amplifier is 17±2.5dB, the DC power consumption is 45mW, the supply voltage is 1V, and the core circuit area is 0.11mm2. © 2023 Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES).

Hydrogen generation through seawater electrolysis provides a promising,attractive pathway towards the utilization of sustainable ***,the catalytic activity and stability of oxygen evolution anode are severely limited by the chloride-induced corrosion and competitive oxidation *** this work,we demonstrate an anion-assisted performance improvement strategy by quick and universal screening of electrolyte additive via correlating Cl-repellency with the anionic ***,the addition of phosphate ions is found to enable highly stable alkaline seawater splitting at industry-level current density(0.5 A cm^(-2))over 500 h using transition metal hydroxides as anodic *** situ experiments and theoretical simulations further reveal that the dynamic anti-corrosion behaviors of surface-adsorbed phosphate ions are attributed to three factors including repelling Cl-ions without significantly blocking OH-diffusion,preventing transition metal dissolution and acting as a local pH buffer to compensate the fast OH-consumption under high current electrolysis.

A newly constructed surface acoustic wave (SAW) device was used to broaden the applicability of sensors at ultra-high temperatures (> 1000°C) and increase the stability under ultra-high temperatures. The choice of piezoelectric substrate and the design of temperature-resistant electrodes were both addressed in this design. We investigate the stability of AlN piezoelectric film for ultra-high-Temperature applications, based on the reliability of AlN/Sapphire structure in high-Temperature applications. In addition, a Pt-Rh and Al2O3 composite electrode structure was constructed and studied. Finally, a high temperature sensing resistant experiment based on single crystalline piezoelectric AlN was carried out, demonstrating that the developed SAW device can still work well at temperatures up to 1200°*** frequency response change of the SAW sensor under high temperatures was obtained and analyzed. © 2022 IEEE.

High crystalline quality Al0.56Sc0.44N ( 112¯0) (a-plane) films were prepared on Al2O3 ( {11¯02) substrates by magnetron reaction sputtering. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis indicates that the grown Al0.56Sc0.44N films are single-phased and a-plane oriented. The full width at half maximum (FWHM) of the rocking curve is only 0.4°, showing the high crystalline quality of the films. Effects of the normalized thickness hAlScN/λ on the acoustic wave propagation properties of the SAW resonator are evaluated by simulations. SAW resonators based on the sputtered non-polar (112¯0) Al0.56Sc0.44N films were prepared, which present a maximum electromechanical coupling coefficient ({keff2) of 5.7%. © 2023 IEEJ.

Coronary artery disease (CAD) is a major cause of mortality, especially among aging populations, making timely and accurate diagnosis essential. In this work, a portable wireless device powered by artificial intelligence for CAD detection is proposed, which synchronously captures electrocardiograms (ECG) and phonocardiograms (PCG) signals and transmits them for real-time analysis and visualization. To ensure the reliability of the acquired signals, a Hidden Semi Markov model is applied to validate data quality. Then, a multiscale convolutional neural network (CNN) feature fusion model extracts critical features from the PCG and ECG signals. All these features and signal information are later processed by a bidirectional long short-term memory (Bi-LSTM) network. Our network achieves impressive metrics and maintains reliable performance in practical tests. This straightforward diagnostic system offers a practical and technically feasible solution for the effective diagnosis of CAD, leveraging advanced neural network architectures for robust clinical application. © 2025 Elsevier Ltd

A broadband Doherty power amplifier based on the two-port networks method

This paper proposes a simple method for designing a broadband Doherty power amplifier. The two-port network is used to represent the output matching networks and load modulation networks. Then, the relationships between the parameters of the two-port network and the output impedances of the transistors and the impedances of the power amplifier branches at the combiner are derived. The output matching network and the load modulation network are designed based on the parameters of the two-port network. A broadband Doherty power amplifier is designed and fabricated to verify the effectiveness of the proposed method. The measured results show that the saturated output power is 43.5-45 dBm and the saturated drain efficiency is 65-75% in 2.1-2.7 GHz. And the drain efficiency is greater than 40% at the 6 dB power back-off in the same frequency band. And the gain is above 12 dB. This work reports a valveless piezoelectric micropump with high pressure load and high flowrate. The experimental results showed that the maximum displacement of the actuator and the output flowrate of the micropump could reach 18.4 μm and 308 mL/min under zero pressure load, respectively, which was highly consistent with the numerical analysis. The maximum output pressure reached 47 kPa, and the pump was extremely stable under various temperatures from room temperature to 80°C, with frequency variations of only −150 Hz. The micropump demonstrated its great potential for wearable/portable application, especially for blood pressure monitoring.
