Business process management is the end-to-end business process modeling, analysis, and optimization to achieve business goals. Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) is usually used to represent business process models. However, BPMN cannot support the intuitive modeling for some typical tasks in complex business scenarios of the Industrial Internet context, increasing the communication cost between modelers and business personnel. The current solutions try to extend the attributes of BPMN elements with annotations, but a large number of annotations makes business process models complex and cumbersome. This paper proposes to extend new business process modeling elements for Industrial Internet application scenarios based on BPMN extension mechanism, generating an extended business process modeling language, namely BPMN++. And an extended process modeling tool is implemented, which is availab.e online. A case study over a real-world Industrial Internet process validates the usefulness of this extension mechanism and the well understandability of business process models. © 2022 IEEE.

With the rapid development of service computing technology, how to recommend the desirable Web APIs to developers from the large number of APIs is a challenge. The traditional methods based on collab.rative filtering are limited by data sparsity. With the support of multi-dimensional relational feature modeling, graph neural network-based methods are proposed to mitigate data sparsity, but their convolution nature may amplify the noise effect. Therefore, how to simultaneously reduce the impact of sparsity and noisy data has been an open question in the field of API recommendation. To address the problem, this paper proposes a self-supervised learning method based on multi-view hypergraph for Web API recommendation. First, the Mashup-API interaction graph is transformed into a hypergraph, and the hyperedges are used as intermediate hubs to transfer messages between nodes, maintaining the global collab.ration effect between Mashup and API nodes. Then, a multi-view strategy is adopted to generate embeddings of Mashups and APIs through information fusion, by which recommendation probability is derived by dot product between the embeddings of Mashups and Web APIs. To train the model parameters effectively, a self-supervised learning method is used to reduce the effect of noisy data to improve the embeddings. Extensive experiments are conducted on a real-world dataset, and the experimental results show that the proposed model outperforms the baselines. © 2024 IEEE.

Most existing language modeling approaches are based on the term independence hypothesis. To go beyond this assumption, two main directions were investigated. The first one considers the use of the proximity features that capture the degree to which search terms appear close to each other in a document. Another one considers the use of semantic relationships between words. Previous studies have proven that these two types of information, including term proximity features and semantic relationships between words, are both useful to improve retrieval performance. Intuitionally, we can use them in combination to further improve retrieval performance. Based on this idea, this paper propose a positional translation language model to explicitly incorporate both of these two types of information under language modeling framework in a unified way. In the first step, we present a proximity-based method to estimate word-word translation probabilities. Then, we define a translation document model for each position of a document and use these document models to score the document. Experimental results on standard TREC collections show that the proposed model achieves significant improvements over the state-of-the-art models, including positional language model, and translation language models. © 2014 Springer International Publishing.

Data grids provide the data-intensive applications with a large virtual stroage framework. We use a reputation-based trust aggregation approach for data providers to quantitatively predict and calculate whether or not they are reliable and credible. In the same time, adaptable trust service is increasingly important for applications running on data grids. However, existing systems are unable to satisfy the flexible trust needs of complex data-intensive applications. This paper introduced a novel approach and proposed a quality of reputation-based trust framework for storage resources in data grids (QRTF). QRTF leverages the manager to dynamically control quality of trust for application requests, thereby achieving good tradeoffs between reputation-based trust service and system performance. Experimental results based on a simulated grid with storage resources show that the proposed framework is capable of significantly improving trust service quality and guaranteeing desired response time. ©2010 IEEE.

VANET has some prominent features such as channel-opening, large-scale, fast, dynamic-changing, so there is some misbehavior vehicles. Due to the large number of vehicles, even if there is only 1% percent of misbehavior vehicles, there can be thousands of misbehavior vehicles. How to identify these vehicles quickly, and then use appropriate cancellation and isolation measures to reduce system losses to its minimum and controllab.e range. In this paper, we propose MisDis, a method that can identify misbehavior vehicle by implementing state automata and supervision, as well as a special security log to record the behavioral characteristics of the target vehicle. If the host vehicle violates the established security policy, then the system need to record the behavioral and try to dump to a safer roadside unit or department in charge. © 2013 Springer-Verlag.

A fuzzy clustering is one of important and valid methods to knowledge discovery. One of problems in fuzzy clustering is to determine a certain fuzzy sample classification in given limited sample space. Another is its validity, that is to say, if the sample is resemble in sample space, its fuzzy type will be resemble too. In our research, firstly, using triangle arithmetic operator and triangle transference, we extend fuzzy equivalence relationship to fuzzy closeness relationship, and cluster. Secondly, importing fuzzy coverage based on fuzzy closeness relationship, we judge resemble type of resemble sample. Thirdly, we introduce the clustering method based on fuzzy closeness relationship and fuzzy coverage. The method can overcome information more loss in fuzzy equivalence. Finally, evaluating its validity, we test its feasibility. The method above is applied to knowledge discovery for electronic commerce on Internet, we have got good result. © 2009 IEEE.

Earlier, hardware-accelerated stenciled shadow volume (SSV) techniques had not been widely adopted by 3D games and applications due in large part to the lack of robustness of described techniques. This situation persisted despite widely availab.e hardware support. Since perception being changed, our aims are at providing an exhaustive study. In particular we discuss the advantages, limitations, rendering quality and cost of each algorithm. Stencil Shadow Volumes (SSVs) are still popular for their simplicity, adaptability to different approaches, hybrid nature, robustness, being powered by graphic hardware compatibilities and real time physical based rendering capabilities, making it highly demanding in graphics and gaming industries. We also addressed the rendering quality and cost of recent algorithms. Finally, we indicate that recent methods can be efficiently exploited and, with such a drastic improvement, how to make the physical based method more practically adopted methods for 3D games and in animation industries discussing optimizations, workflow, and scene management employed in commercial 3D engines.

With the development of Mashup technique, the number of Web APIs released on the Web continues to grow year by year. However, it is a challenging issue to find and select the desirable Web APIs among the large amount of Web APIs. Consequently, interactive Web API recommendation is used to alleviate the difficulty of service selection, when users or developers try to invoke Web APIs for solving their business requirements or software development requirements. Currently, there are several collab.rative filtering based approaches proposed for Web API recommendation, while their recommendation performance is limited on both optimality and scalab.lity. This paper proposes a light neural graph collab.rative filtering based Web API recommendation approach, named LNGCF. Specifically, LNGCF learns user and item embeddings by linearly propagating them on the user-item interaction graph, and uses the weighted summation of the embeddings learned at all layers as the final embedding. Such simple, linear, and neat model is much easier to implement and train. A set of experiments are conducted on a real-world dataset. Experimental results demonstrate the substantial improvements on both optimality and scalab.lity over the baselines. © 2023 IEEE.

As we know, service-aware computing is an important part of pervasive computing for Web-based mobile application with uncertainty. We modified the fusion method of evidence information after considering context's reliability, time-efficiency, and relativity, which has improved the classical fusion rule of D-S (Dempster-Shafer) Evidence Theory when being used in the pervasive computing paradigm. We call it EDS. After extending the process, we overcome the drawbacks of classical D-S Evidence Theory. All these suggested technologies have been successfully used in our service-aware computing projects. The efficiency of our researches has been shown by our many application practices. © 2010 IEEE.

RapidAPI serves as a marketplace and management platform that integrates a wide range of Web APIs, offering developers access to a rich pool of API resources. More and more researchers are delving into ways to maximize the value created by leveraging these resources. Thus, acquiring the Web API data and knowing the details is of significance for researchers and ordinary users. In this paper, we propose the methodology of crawling Web APIs from RapidAPI (https://***/hub) and provide rich visualizations and statistical analysis for the crawled dataset. The crawling code and the crawled dataset are open for public access (https://***/IntelligentServicelab.RESTful-API-Crawler) so that researchers and users can acquire them with no effort.
