Human pose estimation in videos has long been a compelling yet challenging task within the realm of computer vision. Nevertheless, this task remains difficult because of the complex video scenes, such as video defocus and self-occlusion. Recent methods strive to integrate multi-frame visual features generated by a backbone network for pose estimation. However, they often ignore the useful joint information encoded in the initial heatmap, which is a byproduct of the backbone generation. Comparatively, methods that attempt to refine the initial heatmap fail to consider any spatiotemporal motion features. As a result, the performance of existing methods for pose estimation falls short due to the lack of ability to leverage both local joint (heatmap) information and global motion (feature) dynamics. To address this problem, we propose a novel joint-motion mutual learning framework for pose estimation, which effectively concentrates on both local joint dependency and global pixel-level motion dynamics. Specifically, we introduce a context-aware joint learner that adaptively leverages initial heatmaps and motion flow to retrieve robust local joint feature. Given that local joint feature and global motion flow are complementary, we further propose a progressive joint-motion mutual learning that synergistically exchanges information and interactively learns between joint feature and motion flow to improve the capability of the model. More importantly, to capture more diverse joint and motion cues, we theoretically analyze and propose an information orthogonality objective to avoid learning redundant information from multi-cues. Generative Aspect Based Sentiment Analysis for Online Health Community with data Augmentation

Accurate analysis of patients' feedback on various medical aspects is of great importance for improving the quality of healthcare services. In this paper, we address the task of extracting aspects and opinions by adopting a generative end-to-end deep learning model. And we address the challenge of limited high-quality labeled data in aspect-based sentiment analysis by introducing a data augmentation method. To evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed generative model and data augmentation technique in the healthcare domain, we collected reviews related to diagnosis and treatment from online health communities(OHC) and verified the effectiveness of the proposed model. The experimental results demonstrate the superiority of generative models in complex aspect-based sentiment analysis tasks. Furthermore, we find that our data augmentation method is effective in enhancing the experimental outcomes. Our work contributes to the advancement of natural language processing techniques in the healthcare domain, and it has the potential to improve the quality of healthcare services through more fine-grained analysis of patients' feedback. © 2023, The Authors. In scenarios where multiple parties such as the Internet of Things and Supply Chains participate in data sharing and computing, when accessing data, users not only need to accept the forward access control of the data owner, but also needs to perform reverse access control on the data, so as to realize two-way access control. In the traditional blockchain, all users can participate in accounting and view transaction data, and only protect user privacy through 'pseudo-Anonymity'. The access rights of different users cannot be distinguished, which cannot meet the user's two-way access control needs. However, most of the existing blockchain-based access control schemes are one-way access control, which cannot meet the needs of users for two-way access control in scenarios such as the Internet of Things and Supply Chains. Therefore, it is particularly important to design a two-way access control mechanism suitable for application in the blockchain. On this basis, this paper proposes a dual strategy attribute-based encryption (ABE) scheme for distributed outsourcing. This scheme combines two existing schemes, ciphertext-policy ABE and key-policy ABE, and proposes two access structures and a structure of attribute sets. The primary access structure and the secondary attributes are stored in the ciphertext, and the secondary access structure and the primary attributes are stored in the user's private key. Only when the primary attribute set satisfies the primary access structure and the secondary attribute set satisfies the secondary access structure can the user unlock the ciphertext. This scheme has no single authorization center;instead, blockchain nodes jointly participate in authorization. In addition, the proposed scheme outsources the encryption and decryption of the ciphertext to blockchain nodes to reduce the computing pressure on users and can adapt to the decentralized environment of the blockchain and provide users with two-way access control services. Token-Event-Role Structure-based Multi-Channel Document-Level Event Extraction

Document-level event extraction is a long-standing challenging information retrieval problem involving a sequence of sub-tasks: entity extraction, event type judgment, and event type-specific multi-event extraction. However, addressing the problem as multiple learning tasks leads to increased model complexity. Also, existing methods insufficiently utilize the correlation of entities crossing different events, resulting in limited event extraction performance. This paper introduces a novel framework for document-level event extraction, incorporating a new data structure called token-event-role and a multi-channel argument role prediction module. The proposed data structure enables our model to uncover the primary role of tokens in multiple events, facilitating a more comprehensive understanding of event relationships. By leveraging the multichannel prediction module, we transform entity and multi-event extraction into a single task of predicting token-event pairs, thereby reducing the overall parameter size and enhancing model efficiency. The results demonstrate that our approach outperforms the state-of-the-art method by 9.5 percentage points in terms of the F1 score, highlighting its superior performance in event extraction. Furthermore, an ablation study confirms the significant value of the proposed data structure in improving event extraction tasks, further validating its importance in enhancing the overall performance of the framework. Video super-resolution (VSR) on mobile devices aims to restore high-resolution frames from their low-resolution counterparts, satisfying the requirements of performance, FLOPs and latency. On one hand, partial feature processing, as a classic and acknowledged strategy, is developed in current studies to reach an appropriate trade-off between FLOPs and accuracy. However, the splitting of partial feature processing strategy are usually performed in a blind manner, thereby reducing the computational efficiency and performance gains. On the other hand, current methods for mobile platforms primarily treat VSR as an extension of single-image super-resolution to reduce model calculation and inference latency. However, lacking inter-frame information interaction in current methods results in a suboptimal latency and accuracy trade-off. To this end, we propose a novel architecture, termed Feature Aggregating Network with Inter-frame Interaction (FANI), a lightweight yet considering frame-wise correlation VSR network, which could achieve real-time inference while maintaining superior performance. Our FANI accepts adjacent multi-frame low-resolution images as input and generally consists of several fully-connection-embedded modules, i.e., Multi-stage Partial Feature Distillation (MPFD) for capturing multi-level feature representations. Moreover, considering the importance of inter-frame alignment, we further employ a tiny Attention-based Frame Alignment (AFA) module to promote inter-frame information flow and aggregation efficiently. Extensive experiments on the well-known dataset and real-world mobile device demonstrate the superiority of our proposed FANI, which means that our FANI could be well adapted to mobile devices and produce visually pleasing results.

Accurate analysis of patients' feedback on various medical aspects is of great importance for improving the quality of healthcare services. In this paper, we address the task of extracting aspects and opinions by adopting a generative end-to-end deep learning model. And we address the challenge of limited high-quality labeled data in aspect-based sentiment analysis by introducing a data augmentation method. Dual-view gaze target estimation in classroom environments has not been thoroughly explored. Existing methods lack consideration of depth information, primarily focusing on 2D image information and neglecting the latent 3D spatial context, which could lead to suboptimal transformation and cause the gaze cone to intersect with an incorrect object. This paper introduces a novel dual-view gaze target estimation method tailored for classroom settings, leveraging depth-enhanced spatial transformations. By formulating a depth-enhanced 2D space, our method uses depth-enhanced spatial transformation to accurately project students’ gaze cones to the teacher-oriented image. Additionally, we collected a dataset named DVSGE, specifically for student gaze target estimation in dual-view classroom images. Experimental results demonstrate significant performance improvements of 9.8% in AUC and 19.9% in L2-Distance for our method, surpassing existing methods.

In the era of the sixth generation (6G) and industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), an industrial cyber-physical system (ICPS) drives the proliferation of sensor devices and computing-intensive tasks. To address the limited resources of IIoT sensor devices, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)-assisted mobile edge computing (MEC) has emerged as a promising solution, providing flexible and cost-effective services in close proximity of IIoT sensor devices (ISDs). However, leveraging aerial MEC to meet the delay-sensitive and computation-intensive requirements of the ISDs could face several challenges, including the limited communication, computation and caching (3C) resources, stringent offloading requirements for 3C services, and constrained on-board energy of UAVs. To address these issues, we first present a collaborative aerial MEC-assisted ICPS architecture by incorporating the computing capabilities of the macro base station (MBS) and UAVs. We then formulate a service delay minimization optimization problem (SDMOP). Since the SDMOP is proved to be an NP-hard problem, we propose a joint computation offloading, caching, communication resource allocation, computation resource allocation, and UAV trajectory control approach (JC5A). Specifically, JC5A consists of a block successive upper bound minimization method of multipliers (BSUMM) for computation offloading and service caching, a convex optimization-based method for communication and computation resource allocation, and a successive convex approximation (SCA)-based method for UAV trajectory control. Moreover, we theoretically prove the convergence and polynomial complexity of JC5A. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach can achieve superior system performance compared to the benchmark approaches and algorithms. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. The existing emotion cause pair extraction models do not improve the performance of emotion cause pair extraction by incorporating external knowledge. In this work, we propose an emotion-cause pair extraction model based on knowledge transfer (ECPE-KT), in which knowledge is utilized to obtain explicit knowledge encoding of text. Subsequently, the implicit knowledge encoding of clauses is obtained by the transfer of external sentiment classification corpus. Moreover, conduct filtering via adding the relative position and prediction probability to the representation of clause semantic features. Transformer with window mechanism is used to optimize the calculation pressure. Coreference resolution aims at linking all mentions that refer to the same entity, which are widely adopted in many biomedical and bioinformatics tasks, such as biomedical knowledge graph construction and metabolic pathway integration. Many recent studies focus on improving neural model structures. However, we argue that a practical method that integrates commonsense knowledge can further improve coreference resolution performance, because commonsense delivers extra prior knowledge for reasoning and can enhance related representations, rather than naive mention-context occurrence modeling. In this work, we propose an effective method to integrate external commonsense knowledge into a neural coreference resolution model. Specially, a gated attention mechanism is employed in our method to leverage commonsense according to different contexts. By using ConceptNet as the knowledge base in three span-ranking backbone models, the models can yield significant performance gains on used datasets. We also achieve improvements in tasks of long-term mention detection and cross-sentence coreferences after incorporating knowledge.
