The eccentric effect of rotor has seriously affected on the stability and precision of the mechanism at high speed for light and flexible mechanism in industrial application. The analysis of nonlinear vibration mechanism must be completed to realize precision and stable control of elastic beam in a large overall rotation. Firstly, the slender flexible rod is assumed as Euler-Bernoulli beam. We apply the deformation theory of elastic beam to establish its kinematic constraint relationship. Its dynamic model is built with Galerkin method and Hamilton principle. Then the Lagrange method is used to establish the rotor dynamics model based on the Jeffcott rotor. The coupling part between the motor and the elastic beam is assumed to be rigidly connected, and the dynamic model of the motor-elastic beam system can be obtained. Lastly, we analyze the nonlinear vibration mechanism of the elastic beam with rotor eccentricity effect through applying the fourth-order Runge-Kutta method and the superposition principle of traveling wave. It provides an important theoretical basis for making an effective vibration suppression strategy for elastic beam. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

SC-NeRF: Self-Correcting Neural Radiance Field with Sparse Views

In recent studies, the generalization of neural radiance fields for novel view synthesis task has been widely explored. However, existing methods are limited to objects and indoor scenes. In this work, we extend the generalization task to outdoor scenes, trained only on object-level datasets. This approach presents two challenges. Firstly, the significant distributional shift between training and testing scenes leads to black artifacts in rendering results. Secondly, viewpoint changes in outdoor scenes cause ghosting or missing regions in rendered images. To address these challenges, we propose a geometric correction module and an appearance correction module based on multi-head attention mechanisms. We normalize rendered depth and combine it with light direction as query in the attention mechanism. Our network effectively corrects varying scene structures and geometric features in outdoor scenes, generalizing well from object-level to unseen outdoor scenes. Additionally, we use appearance correction module to correct appearance features, preventing rendering artifacts like blank borders and ghosting due to viewpoint changes. By combining these modules, our approach successfully tackles the challenges of outdoor scene generalization, producing high-quality rendering results. When evaluated on four datasets (Blender, DTU, LLFF, Spaces), our network outperforms previous methods. Notably, compared to MVSNeRF, our network improves average PSNR from 19.369 to 25.989, SSIM from 0.838 to 0.889, and reduces LPIPS from 0.265 to 0.224 on Spaces outdoor scenes. © 2023, CC BY.

This study presents a methodology to enhance the operating safety of hybrid unmanned aerial vehicles by employing an active fault-tolerant control technique. The idea is to incorporate the weighted control allocation scheme with integral-sliding mode control law to attain accurate tracking performance while accounting for the impact of actuator faults and failures. One notable benefit of this methodology lies in its ability to attain tracking accuracy in all operational modes of hybrid UAVs through the careful creation of a suitable weighting matrix. The efficiency of the suggested system is demonstrated by numerical simulations conducted on a longitudinal model of an octoplane aircraft. The proposed controller demonstrates satisfactory performance both in nom-inal conditions and under faults occurring in the elevator and rotors 1, 2, 7, and 8 at 20s and 40s.

This paper proposes a novel online sparse least square support vector regression without bias for forecasting capacitive type pressure transducer remaining useful life prediction (RUL). The proposed approach is based on mechanism and statistical knowledge. The impedance variables are applied to calibrate the correlation between pressure capacitance capacity degradation and the resistance value to improve the prediction precision. Furthermore, a particle filter algorithm is proposed to estimate the pressure capacitance impedance fade parameters, and then the probability density function of the predicted RUL value is obtained by Gaussian. Lastly, experimental results consider #5 and #6. The pressure capacitance data set verifies the hybrid RUL prognostics strategy with high accuracy and robust stability. © 2025 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

African swine fever (ASF) is a highly contagious and severe hemorrhagic disease caused by the African swine fever virus (ASFV). The continuous spread of ASFV affects the safety of global meat supply, so the establishment of sensitive and specific detection methods for ASFV has become an important hot spot in food safety. Herein, we developed a flexible magnetoelastic (ME) biosensor based on PDMS/FeSiB/QDs composite films for the detection of ASFV. Based on the high luminescence performance of CsPbBr3 quantum dots and the excellent magnetoelastic effect of FeSiB, flexible ME biosensors convert stress signals generated by antibody-antigen-specific binding into optical and electromagnetic signals. The nanostructures covalently linked by quantum dots and PDMS provide biomodification sites for ASFV antibodies, simplifying the functionalization modification process compared to conventional biosensors. The deformation of the PDMS film is amplified and conversion of surface stress signal to electrical signal is enhanced by exposing the biosensor to a uniform magnetic field. The experimental results proved that the flexible ME biosensor has wide linear range of 10 ng/mL - 100 μg/mL, and the detection limit is as low as 0.7933 ng/mL. Moreover, the flexible ME biosensor have also shown to good stability, sensitivity and specificity. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Non-classical light sources emitting bundles of N-photons have essential applications ranging from fundamental tests to quantum information processing. However, high-order correlations, g(N)(0) (N≥2), are still limited to hundreds. Herein, we report the realizaiton of a super-bunching laser in a photonic crystal fiber with g(2)(0) reaching 5.86×104 and g(5)(0) reaching 2.72×108. This laser presented extreme photon-number fluctuations and ubiquitous multi-photon events, with the occurrence of 31 photons from a single light pulse at a mean of 1.99×10-4 photons per pulse. The probability of this extreme event has been enhanced 10139 times compared to a coherent laser with a Poissonian distribution. By varying the power of the pumping laser, both the photon number distributions and the corresponding high-order correlations could be substantially tailored from Poissonian to super-bunching distributions. Our study showcases the ability to achieve non-classical laser with giant high-order correlations and extreme photon-number fluctuations, paving the way for high-order correlation imaging, extreme nonlinear optical effects, hyperspectral image and multi-photon physics. © 2024, CC BY.

The enhanced sensitivity and selectivity of nitrogen dioxide (NO2) gas sensors are paramount for atmospheric environmental monitoring. In this work, a novel small-size ZIF-8/In2O3 core-shell nanocubes gas sensor was fabricated using a straightforward solvothermal method, complemented by in situ modification. The ZIF-8 film markedly increased the specific surface area of In2O3 nanocubes from 60.64 m²/g to 140.84 m²/g. Concurrently, there was a rise in the content of adsorbed oxygen ions on the surface. The gas-sensing results demonstrated that the ZIF-8/In2O3 composites achieved a response of 56.3 to 1 ppm of NO2, with an exceptionally low detection limit of 1 ppb. Importantly, it exhibited unique selectivity for NO2 over other interfering gases. The outstanding NO2 gas-sensing performance of the ZIF-8/In2O3 composites can be attributed to the grain model effect inherent in the In2O3 (with side lengths of approximately 40-50 nm), along with the sensitization influence and filtering efficacy of ZIF-8. This advancement in gas sensor technology has significant potential for applications in the rapid detection of low-concentration NO2 gas. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

EtherCAT has been widely applied in the motion control domain due to its advantages of the fast response speed,low CPU usage and good synchronization *** the distributed clock synchronization mechanism shows strong performance between the slaves,the clock synchronization method between the master clock and the reference clock is still open for users to choose,and there are few studies in this *** paper proposed a novel clock synchronization mechanism between the master of CNC system and the reference slave which also call servo motor of drive *** mechanism relies on sync0 of the reference servo ***0 is very stable and almost no time jitter,which is a dozen *** clock of the master of the numerical control system(CNC) adjusted the trigger moment of the interpolation period adaptively and dynamically to realize synchronization between master and reference servo motor taking sync0 as *** addition,the proposed method almost hardly add computational load and modify the EtherCAT frames by adding four bytes only without increasing an excessive communication load in the interpolation *** synchronization mechanism fills the gap of distributed clock synchronization which is the synchronization mechanism between reference servo motor and the other servo *** are preformed to verify the synchronization *** results demonstrate that the jitters of EtherCAT frames are measured to be only 112ns and 95.5 ns.
