Design and Implementation of the Federation Load Simulator

The importance and necessity of emulating the federation load during simulating was analyzed ***,the special federation load emulation tool,federation load simulator (FLS),was designed and implemented,by which all of the vital essential characteristics of a simulation could be tested,*** amount of federates,the joint/resigned speed of federate,the amount of object instances,the registered/deleted speed of instance in one single program,etc..The applications proved that FLS could provide a convenient,effective and adjustable simulation load testing environment during the procedure of run-time infrastructure(RTI)and interrelated tool federates researching,developing and performance ***,the FLS utilized all kinds of resources with high efficiency.

Global agricultural monitoring systems face unprecedented challenges due to intensifying climate change. This paper reviews the advancements in existing global agricultural monitoring systems, highlighting deficiencies in addressing extreme weather events, data integration, and real-time analysis. To overcome these limitations, we introduce the Earth system Model-Coupled Global Agricultural Monitoring system (ESM-GAMS), an advanced framework that combines satellite and near-surface remote sensing, artificial intelligence-driven modeling, supercomputing, and crop model to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of crop monitoring and yield predictions under diverse climate scenarios. By integrating multi-source remote sensing data, ESM-GAMS mitigates delays caused by satellite revisit cycles and weather interference, enabling near real-time monitoring with results available at hourly or minute-level intervals. Additionally, the system demonstrated high accuracy in yield simulations under extreme weather, with the improved WOFOST model achieving robust R 2 values ranging from 0.55 to 0.77, indicating its reliability in predicting yields across diverse conditions. ESM-GAMS not only enables detailed daily monitoring of crop growth, but also provides early-warning capabilities for extreme weather and its impact on prediction. By optimizing resource allocation, supporting climate resilience, and enabling global data computing, ESM-GAMS represents a further step toward achieving climate-smart agriculture.

Aiming at the problem that the traditional deep reinforcement learning algorithm has poor generalization ability of generating strategies when solving complex game problems such as real-time strategy games, an agent strategy optimization method based on the combination of expert knowledge and self-play is ***, the opponent strategy of the agent is designed based on expert knowledge, and the corresponding strategy is generated by the proximal policy optimization algorithm (PPO), and the generated strategy is continuously put into the opponent strategy pool to provide a variety of opponent strategies for the agent in the training *** continuous iterative confrontation, the agent's autonomous decision-making ability in the face of different opponent strategies is *** simulation results show that compared with the traditional deep reinforcement learning algorithm, the introduction of the self-play training framework can significantly improve the average confrontation rate of the agent strategy, improve the robustness and generalization ability of the agent confrontation strategy, guide the agent to learn more effective tactical strategy, and achieve the adversarial advantage of "Priority first enemy discovery, Priority enemy launch". © 2024 IEEE.

In Mobile Opportunistic Networks, there are special cases of multicast in which destinations (except the total number) are not predetermined. E.g., a person tries to find another three players to play poker without knowing them. Achieving efficient data routing in this scenario (target any k destinations among m of them) can be very challenge due to (1) no predetermined destinations, (2) extra delay cost by the destinations collision, and (3) difficulty of the receiver quantity control. We define this as a K-Anycast problem, the goal is to route copies of the message to any k destinations with the shortest average delay. In this paper, we first propose a matching method to solve the problem in a centralized way. We then bring forward a layered hierarchical structure where nodes are organized according to their degree of activities. Based on the structure, two routing algorithms are proposed where K-Cast initializes exactly k copies of the message without replication in the middle, K-Epidemic performs epidemic routing only in a controlled range. Both algorithms will first forward copies upwards along the structure and then downwards to the destinations. Experiments on real data trace show that the proposed algorithms achieve much better delay, delivery ratio and lower forwarding numbers.

In modern multi-core system, memory is shared among more and more concurrently running threads. Therefore, memory contention and interference is more and more seriously which induces performance degradation unevenly, unfairness resource sharing and priority inversion even starvation. In this paper, we first analyze the problems induced by contention and interference in detail, and then, propose pseudo share framework which brings shared memory to exclusive in multi-core system. The pseudo share framework contains three steps: 1) Partition threads and memory into thread and memory groups respectively, each thread group runs on one core occupying one memory group, 2) Analyze the performance influence after memory shared for each thread, 3) According to performance influence of parallel running threads, allocate memory bandwidth for each thread. We implement pseudo share in 4-core and 8-core platforms. Experimental results show pseudo share optimizes both problems of performance degradation differently and unfairness resource sharing in both 4-core and 8-core. Moreover, pseudo share solves starvation and reduces 5.3% power on average.

The latest Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6(CMIP6)proposes new shared pathways(SSPs)that incorporate socioeconomic development with more comprehensive and scientific experimental designs;however,few studies have been performed on the projection of future multibasin hydrological changes in China based on CMIP6 *** this paper,we use the Equidistant Cumulative Distribution Function method(EDCDFm)to perform downscaling and bias correction in daily precipitation,daily maximum temperature,and daily minimum temperature for six CMIP6 models based on the historical gridded data from the high-resolution China Meteorological Forcing Dataset(CMFD).We use the bias-corrected precipitation,temperature,and daily mean wind speed to drive the variable infiltration capacity(VIC)hydrological model,and study the changes in multiyear average annual precipitation,annual evapotranspiration and total annual runoff depth relative to the historical baseline period(1985–2014)for the Chinese mainland,basins and grid scales in the 21st century future under the SSP2-4.5 and SSP5-8.5 *** study shows that the VIC model accurately simulates runoff in major Chinese basins;the model data accuracy improves substantially after downscaling bias correction;and the future multimodel-mean multiyear average annual precipitation,annual evapotranspiration,and total annual runoff depth for the Chinese mainland and each basin increase relative to the historical period in near future(2020–2049)and far future(2070–2099)under the SSP2-4.5 and *** new CMIP6-based results of this paper can provide a strong reference for extreme event prevention,water resource utilization and management in China in the 21st century.

Indicators of medical quality is the main basis of medical quality evaluation, predictive analyzing the indicators by using data mining technology, we can find and solve the problems of hospital quality management more timely. The study, basing on the medical homepage records, analyzes the key indicators of the hospital medical quality by decision tree C4.5 algorithm. Decision tree is a prediction model which can assist hospital to make related decision on medical quality management issues. By using decision tree C4.5 algorithm with appropriate modification, a high quality model of decision tree can be made. It can not only do the statistic of medical quality indicators, but also predict the indicators with high relative accuracy to improve hospital’s medical quality management.

Geosynchronous Spaceborne-Airborne Bistatic multichannel SAR (GEO-SABM SAR) maintains the fine temporal sampling and wide coverage characteristics of monostatic GEO SAR. But due to the PRF of GEO platform is very low, azimuth spectrum aliasing (ASA) will occur in GEO-SABM SAR which will make a moving target divided into several sub-targets. In this paper, a location method for ground moving target with ASA has given. From the simulation results, the moving target can be discriminated and located. © 2019 IEEE.

Monoterpenes have been known to have a critical influence on air quality and climate change through their impact on the formation of fine *** we present field evidence that monoterpene oxidations largely enhanced local ozone production in a regional site in eastern *** observed monoterpene was most likely from biomass burning rather than biogenic emissions,as indicated by the high correlation with CO at night-time,and the observed ratio of these two species was consistent with previously determined values from biomass burning *** monoterpene oxidations were determined experimentally based on direct radical measurements,leading to a daily ozone enhancement of 4-18 parts per billion by volume（ppb）,which was 6%-16% of the total ozone production,depending on the speciation of *** demonstrates that the previously overlo oked anthropogenic monoterpenes make an important contribution to 03 production in eastern *** role could possibly be important at similar locations across China and other parts of the world that are characterized by massive emissions,especially where there are high *** results highlight that anthropogenic monoterpenes should be taken into account when proceeding with the coordinated mitigation of O3and particulate matter pollution.

the DC/AC interaction and the presence of the high nonlinearity in the HVDC links, these problems needs to examine the behavior of the system in steady-state and transient conditions in order to define the great role of protection functions and control parameters. Furthermore, Control and protection systems are a vital part of an HVDC system to guarantee the safety, reliability, and stability of its operation. This research aim is to provide the solutions for control and protection problems that can occur in HVDC link. In this paper, we study how we mitigate this serious malfunction of commutation failure process in the operation of HVDC converters. Indeed some protection functions like the commutation failure prevention. Furthermore, HVDC transmission systems are vulnerable to DC faults and its protection becomes ever more important with the fast growth in the number of installations. Finally, the dynamics of the studied power system including the HVDC link is thoroughly investigated through various simulation scenarios. © 2023 IEEE.
