In order to enhance the performance of temperature transmitters and facilitate their integration into intelligent and wireless systems, a novel design is proposed, incorporating a pseudo self-balancing electric bridge to achieve a high-precision and wide-range temperature measurement capability. This advanced transmitter not only maximizes the measurement range of thermal resistance but also ensures exceptional temperature accuracy. It seamlessly transfers data to a server through the utilization of the WIFI protocol. Furthermore, the transmitter is equipped with wireless communication capabilities, allowing data transmission through a 4-20mA current loop. The calibration and configuration processes can be conveniently carried out via a USB interface. Rigorous testing validates that the accuracy of the transmitter conforms to the stringent specifications outlined in GB/T 34072-2017 for 0.1-level temperature transmitters. Additionally, when operated with battery power, the transmitter exhibits commendably low average power consumption. © The Institution of engineering & Technology 2023.

Chitin is a widely used important industrial polymer mainly from shrimp shells, but its commercial preparation is under the great challenge of serious pollution due to the requirement of HCl and Na ***, we demonstrated that high purity chitin can be obtained from waste shrimp shells(WSSs) by cascade separation with transition metal salt aqueous solution and ionic liquid(IL). Firstly, calcium carbonate of WSSs was effectively removed in the metal salt aqueous solution driven by the ion exchange interaction. Subsequently, 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride([Bmim]Cl) had bifunctional abilities to remove residual protein and introduced metal salts simultaneously by hydrogen bonding and coordination interactions. The key experimental factors affecting the separation process were systematically studied, including the type of metal salts, temperature, and [Bmim]Cl loading. After sequential treatment with a 20%(mass) Ni SO4aqueous solution at 130 ℃ and [Bmim]Cl at 150 ℃, the purity of a-chitin can be up to 96.5%(mass) that meets commercial requirements. The use of metal salts with higher coordination ability makes the preparation of chitin no longer depend on the commonly acid-base reaction, which is conducive to the preservation of chitin structure.

Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) is a NP-hard problem, which has important application value in various fields. This paper optimizes and improves Genetic Algorithm and Simulates Annealing Algorithms respectively, combines each other's advantages and complements each other, and develops a Double-improved genetic-simulates annealing algorithm (DIGASA), which can solve TSP with better results and shorter time. The main improvements are as follows: (1) A new fitness function is defined that can increase with the evolution process;(2) The F-adaptive function is designed to optimize the crossover and mutation probability;(3) The local optimal search is introduced to speed up the convergence of the algorithm;(4) The adaptive Metropolis criterion is adopted in the group update part to make individual changes more adaptive;(5) The cooling function is improved to increase the tempering process. Subsequently, DIGASA is tested on eight standard TSP datasets of three sizes. Experimental results show that DAGASA performs well, almost reach the known optimal solution, and the running time is short, which proves the effectiveness and rationality of DIGASA. © 2023 IEEE.

In the process of oil production, the submerged oil motor works 1-3 km downhole and is connected to the inverter by a long-wire cable, which generates overvoltage at the motor end due to the problem of matching the impedance of the motor with the impedance of the power cable. The downhole environment is not suitable for the installation of precision devices, such as position sensors. To solve these problems, a sensorless control method of submerged oil motors based on a high-frequency voltage injection method is proposed. A motor terminal voltage and current observer under a long-wire cable model is designed to estimate the actual values of motor terminal voltage and current by collecting the voltage and current at the inverter terminal. A three-level inverter is used to provide energy to the submersible oil electric pump through the long-wire cable, which can effectively suppress the motor terminal overvoltage compared to the two-level inverter. The control algorithm is verified by modeling the whole system using simulation software. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

The deliberate engineering of the d-band center of metal site represents an effective strategy to boost the intrinsic electrocatalytic performance toward the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,following a heterointerfaceinduced orbital coupling rationale,we report a judicious design of an efficient ORR electrocatalyst consisting of Fe_(3)O_(4)/CeO_(2)hetero-nanoparticles in-situ encased into N-doped carbon nanofibers(abbreviated as Fe_(3)O_(4)/CeO_(2)@N-CNFs hereafter).The theoretic calculations uncover that the Fe_(3)O_(4)/CeO_(2)heterointerface-triggered orbital coupling can cause the down shift of the d-band center positions of Fe sites,which leads to the weakened chemisorption of oxygenated groups and lowered energy barrier for the potential-determining step,ultimately dramatically boosting the ORR intrinsic *** a consequence,the well-designed Fe_(3)O_(4)/CeO_(2)@N-CNFs display admirable ORR activity with a half-wave potential of 0.84 V and outstanding structural/electrochemical stability in an alkaline electrolyte,surpassing the commercial Pt/C benchmark and a majority of recently reported Fe_(3)O_(4)-based *** encouragingly,the Fe_(3)O_(4)/CeO_(2)@N-CNFsincorporated Zn-air battery outperforms the Pt/C-assembled counterpart with higher power density,larger energy density,and excellent cycling stability,serving as a competent candidate for ORR-involved renewable energy *** study offers an innovative approach for the rational manipulation of the d-band center and interfacial electron behavior of active sites toward the optimization of electrocatalytic performance.

The slow conversion of polyphase in lithium-sulfur(Li-S)batteries not only intensifies the shuttle effect of lithium polysulfides(LiPSs),but also causes the continuous accumulation of inactive sulfur species,resulting in rapid capacity attenuation and sluggish dynamic ***,the promoting effect of atomic interface stress on sulfur reaction was investigated via CoFe-CoFe_(2)O_(4)heterogeneous nanosheets with a cavity *** strain force induced by the in-situ precipitation of Co Fe bimetallic alloy in oxide matrix increased the d-band center,which was conducive to the interaction between catalyst and Li *** sulfur cathode based on this two-dimensional(2D)nanosheet design showed an extremely high capacity of 751 mAh g^(-1)at 4 *** with a sulfur loading of 5.55 mg cm^(-2),its area capacity was still as high as 7.15 mAh cm^(-2).Meanwhile,the enhanced stability greatly improved the practical potential of Li-S batteries.
