A double-effect reactive distillation(DERD)process was proposed for the production of propylene glycol methyl ether from propylene oxide and methanol to overcome the shortcoming of low selectivity and high-energy consumption in the tubular plug-flow reactor.A single-column reactive distillation(RD)process was conducted under optimized operating conditions based on sensitivity analysis as a *** results demonstrated that the proposed DERD process is able to achieve more than 95%selectivity of the desired *** that,a design approach of the DERD process with an objective of the minimum operating cost was proposed to achieve further energy savings in the RD *** proposed DERD configuration can provide a large energy-savings by totally utilization of the overhead vapor steam in the high-pressure RD column.A comparison of the single-column RD process revealed that the proposed DERD process can reduce the operating cost and the total annual cost of 25.3%and 30.7%,respectively,even though the total capital cost of DERD process is larger than that of the RD process.

The accurate prediction of behaviors of surrounding traffic participants is critical for autonomous vehicles (AV). How to fully encode both explicit (e.g., map structure and road geometry) and implicit scene context information (e.g., traffic rules) within complex scenarios is still challenging. In this work, we propose an implicit scene context-aware trajectory prediction framework (the PRISC-Net, Prediction with Implicit Scene Context) for accurate and interactive behavior forecasting. The novelty of the proposed approach includes: 1) development of a behavior prediction framework that takes advantage of both model- and learning-based approaches to fully encode scene context information while modeling complex interactions;2) development of a candidate path target predictor that utilizes explicit and implicit scene context information for candidate path target prediction, along with a motion planning-based generator that generates kinematic feasible candidate trajectories;3) integration of the proposed target predictor and trajectory generator with a learning-based evaluator to capture complex agent-agent and agent-scene interactions and output accurate predictions. Experiment results based on vehicle behavior datasets and real-world road tests show that the proposed approaches outperform state-of-the-art methods in terms of prediction accuracy and scene context compliance. This paper investigates the stability analysis problem of discrete-time systems with cyclically varying *** previous studies, the delay investigated in this paper cyclically alternates between increasing and decreasing changes within its upper and lower bounds. First, to reasonably describe the cyclic variation characteristics of the delay, a discretetime looped functional(DTLF) approach and a refined allowable delay set(ADS) are proposed. Then, based on the constructed DTLF with delay-product terms and using matrix-separation-based inequality to estimate its forward difference,delay-variation-interval-dependent stability conditions considering two different ADSs are derived. Finally, the effectiveness and superiority of the obtained conditions are demonstrated through two numerical examples.

Balancing electron transfer and intermediate adsorption ability of bifunctional catalysts via tailoring electronic structures is crucial for green hydrogen production,while it still remains challenging due to lacking efficient ***,one efficient and universal strategy is developed to greatly regulate electronic structures of the metallic Ni-Fe-P catalysts via in-situ introducing the rare earth(RE)atoms(Ni-Fe-RE-P,RE=La,Ce,Pr,and Nd).Accordingly,the as-prepared optimal Ni-Fe-Ce-P/CC self-supported bifunctional electrodes exhibited superior electrocatalytic activity and excellent stability with the low overpotentials of 247 and 331 mV at 100 mA cm^(-2) for HER and OER,*** the assembled electrolyzer,the Ni-Fe-Ce-P/CC as bifunctional electrodes displayed low operation potential of 1.49 V to achieve a current density of 10 mA cm^(-2),and the catalytic performance can be maintained for 100 *** results combined with density functional theory(DFT)calculation reveal that Ce doping leads to electron decentralization and crystal structure distortion,which can tailor the band structures and d-band center of Ni-Fe-P,further increasing conductivity and optimizing intermediate adsorption *** work not only proposes a valuable strategy to regulate the electron transfer and intermediate adsorption of electrocatalysts via RE atoms doping,but also provides a deep under-standing of regulation mechanism of metallic electrocatalysts for enhanced water splitting.
