The capsule robot enters the patient's intestinal system directly by swallowing and takes continuous images using the miniature camera unit it carries, but during its travel, its own gravity and the peristaltic movement of the intestine make the physician limited in obtaining images of the intestine and making a diagnosis. In order to solve this problem, a capsule endoscope with an embedded leg mechanism is proposed. Compared to commercially available capsule robot. This capsule robot can easily move through the intestine autonomously by means of the relationship between the leg, the screw nut and the linkage, enabling forward, backward and stationary functions. The capsule robot has a diameter of 14 mm, a length of 30 mm and a maximum diameter of 26.66 mm with the legs spread out. The hollow space is allocated to include basic endoscopic components such as a miniature camera and a rotating motor. A series of tests, including in vitro tests, were carried out to test the feasibility of the leg mechanism of this capsule robot. Based on the results of the experiments, the proposed leg mechanism can effectively act on the Micro-capsule endoscope, and is able to move effectively through the intestine. © 2023 IEEE.

Finding Emotional Focus for Emotion Recognition at Sentence Level

Emotion recognition at sentence level is one of the fundamental problems of textual emotion understanding. Based on the observation that sentence emotional focus can be expressed by some clauses in this sentence, this paper proposes to find the emotional focus for sentence emotion recognition. For the sake of breaking through the problems brought about by depending on emotion lexicons, we first recognize word emotions in a sentence based on Maximum entropy model. And then homogeneous Markov model is built for clause emotion recognition; After that, a strategy based on emotion selection is proposed for a sentence with multiple clauses, and genetic algorithm is used for clause selection by textual feature weighting. The experimental results show that, comparing with the baseline, there are 9.1% and 3.6% improvement respectively for two different evaluations. It is demonstrated that finding emotional focus by clause selection is able to improve the performance of sentence emotion recognition significantly.

A Dual-band Monopole Antenna with EBG for Wearable Wireless Body Area Networks

This paper proposes a dual-band wearable monopole antenna adopting an electromagnetic band-gap (EBG) structure, which operates at 2.45 and 5.8 GHz ISM bands and is suitable for wearable applications. Both the monopole antenna and the EBG structure are fabricated on an F4B semi-flexible substrate having a dielectric constant of 2.2. The EBG structure effectively isolates the human body from the radiation of the antenna and reduces the specific absorption rate (SAR) of it by more than 97.5%. This improves the antenna gain and the peak gain reaches 9.1 dBi at 5.8 GHz. The wearable performance of the antenna showed that it can sustain good performance even under realistic human body loading. Besides, the antenna has a small size, which makes it ideal for wearable applications. © ACES

To solve the problem of huge cost of human and material resources when sorting coins in banks, shopping malls and bus companies. A coin sorting device is first proposed and designed based on structural optimization design. The novel device can automatically sort coins and save a lot of labor. The structure of the machine is designed ingeniously, and the function of layer-by-layer coin sorting is realized through the cooperation among slopes of between different sieve plates. The machine has the advantages of low cost, stable operation and reliable performance, which effectively realizes coin sorting. In order to realize a multi-channel exhalation detection device with large dynamic range and high precision, a well designed signal processing and sampling circuit is essential for gas sensors. In this paper, a particular circuit is designed to meet above requirement. The proposed circuit uses a constant current source to achieve linear transformation of resistance value and output voltage, and uses a voltage follower for impedance transformation to minimize the impact of the AD acquisition on the front-end circuit. Since the gas sensor can be regarded as a variable resistor, the proposed circuit is tested with variable resistors varying from 10kΩ to 50MΩ, over three orders of magnitude. In order to increase the sensitivity of the gas sensors, it is need to heat the sensor. Then a multi-channel heating circuit is designed with independent adjustable heating current in each channel, which can be controlled with multi-channel PWM signal from the MCU. With simulation and experiment, the performance of the proposed circuit has been verified to be excellent. Furthermore, the circuit has the advantage of being used in various fields. © 2023 IEEE.

Accurate and efficient 6D pose estimation is a fundamental technology in many industrial applications. While existing dense correspondence methods have shown progress, they face challenges in multimodal feature fusion under complex scenarios involving occlusions, illumination variations, and sensor noise. This paper proposes a novel 6D pose estimation framework that addresses these limitations through a hybrid Mamba-Graph architecture. The algorithm first introduces a panoramic attention fusion Mamba module, leveraging state-space modeling to capture long-range dependencies in multi-modal data while establishing cross-dimensional interactions between channel and spatial features to emphasize critical information. A dynamic graph convolutional adaptive fusion module is then designed to enable cross-modal geometric consistency modeling via multi-modal feature integration. Finally, a texture-geometry co-driven keypoint selection mechanism is proposed to ensure keypoint distributions satisfy both spatial uniformity and discriminability requirements. Experimental results on three common datasets demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves ADD(-S) metrics of 99.82%, 80.26%, and 97.2%, respectively. Notably, it exhibits significant advantages in pose estimation for objects with repetitive textures and high symmetry. © 2013 IEEE.

Contrastive learning can reduce the impact of ex-posure bias associated with training using maximum likelihood estimation, which aims to pull together positive samples to increase the likelihood of high-quality summaries and push away irrelevant negative samples to reduce the likelihood of low-quality summaries. In contrastive learning-based text summarization methods, a standard method for selecting positive and negative samples is randomly selected within a batch. This method can lead to sampling bias to the extent that the consistency of the representation space is compromised. Therefore, we propose a new method to penalize false negatives based on ROUGE metric scores as weights to sample from the dynamic output of the model training process. The method calculates ROUGE metric scores for penalizing false negatives in real-time and can distinguish between positive and negative samples to ensure spatial consistency and alleviate exposure bias. Experimental results on XSum, CNN/DM, and Multi-News datasets show that our approach effectively improves the performance of the latest text summarization pre-training models.

As the demand for reliable power supply in power systems grows, ensuring the performance of circuit breaker operating mechanisms is crucial. This performance is pivotal to the stability of the power grid, the speed of fault recovery, and the equipment's lifespan. In this paper, we introduce a structural optimization plan for a new magnetic control operating mechanism designed for 10kV circuit breakers. Employing three-dimensional and mathematical modeling, complemented by finite element analysis with Maxwell software, we delved into an in-depth study of the mechanism's structure, performance, and materials. We further conducted a parametric design and comparative analysis of key components. The simulation results, which exclude the spring load, demonstrate that the optimized circuit breaker can achieve a closing velocity of 3.07 m/s, an electromagnetic force peaking at 2.7 kN, and a closure time minimized to 8.5 ms. These enhancements notably improve the mechanism's closing efficiency. Consequently, our research introduces a novel perspective to the field of reliability studies for magnetic control operating mechanisms. © 2024 IEEE.

INNSE: Invertible neural network-based DNA image storage with self-correction encoding

DNA storage has become an alternative to silicon-based storage of media. However, when used to store multimodal data such as images, it fails to take full advantage of the characteristics of high correlation and variability present in such data, and currently remains inferior in terms of encoding density and time complexity. It also has the shortcoming of weak performance in terms of error correction methods to address insertion and deletion errors caused by error crosstalk. Therefore, we proposed an invertible neural network-based DNA image storage self-correction encoding method (INNSE) that uses the invertibility of network to perform up-down sampling processing on image and video data, thereby greatly reducing the number of DNA sequences required for data storage. A codebook generator was then designed to encode low-dimensional vectors into DNA sequences that meet various constraints. Finally, a self-correction method was constructed to achieve DNA sequence error correction at the base level without adding any redundant information. Our experimental results showed that, compared to the Yin-Yang algorithm, the encoding density of INNSE was increased by 3×, encoding time complexity was reduced by 95.26%. Under a simulated error rate of 2%, PSNR and SSIM were raised by 80.88% and 63.82%, respectively, proving that INNSE has significant advantages in encoding performance and error correction ability.
