This paper focuses on the optimization and improvement of the line-of-sight tracking algorithm based on monocular vision, and aims to achieve a series of complex functions through image analysis based on line-of-sight tracking technology and more in-depth analysis of monocular images. Visual perception plays an important role in autonomous driving technology. The two key factors in visual perception tasks are monocular object detection and structured data analysis. In this paper, a structured data parsing algorithm based on monocular vision is proposed. Firstly, using the single-stage YOLOv5 object detection model, the target was located and its kind was identified. Secondly, the 3D position of the object in the camera coordinate system is calculated according to the mapping relationship between the imaging point and the target point. Finally, the distance between the object and the camera is calculated by using the pinhole camera model, and the size of the object and the horizontal declination Angle relative to the optical center of the camera are estimated by geometric derivation. This method not only has a simple principle, but also guarantees the precision of structured data output. In order to analyse the global exponential stability (GES) of inertial neural networks (INNs) with multiple time-varying transmission delays, a direct parameterized method in this article is proposed. First, the solution of the considered delayed INNs can be parameterized. Thereby, sufficient conditions on GES of the delayed INNs will be established. Then, a numerical example is given to confirm the feasibility and non-conservativeness of the stability criterions. There are two advantages for the direct parameterized method given in this work: (i) to avoid constructing the Lyapunov–Krasovskii functional (LKF), the GES is defined directly by using the inequality technique;(ii) the stability criterion contains are obtained by the theoretical results solve rapidly. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

Underwater optical imaging produces images with high resolution and abundant information and hence has outstanding advantages in short-distance underwater target ***,low-light and high-noise scenarios pose great challenges in un-derwater image and video *** improve the accuracy and anti-noise performance of underwater target image edge detection,an underwater target edge detection method based on ant colony optimization and reinforcement learning is proposed in this ***,the reinforcement learning concept is integrated into artificial ants’movements,and a variable radius sensing strategy is pro-posed to calculate the transition probability of each *** methods aim to avoid undetection and misdetection of some pixels in image ***,a double-population ant colony strategy is proposed,where the search process takes into account global search and local search *** results show that the algorithm can effectively extract the contour information of underwater targets and keep the image texture well and also has ideal anti-interference performance.

Pressure-stabilized electride Li10Si with superconducting and superionic behavior

Electrides have attracted increasing interest due to their diversely physical properties, including low work function, high catalytic activity, as well as potential superconductivity. In this work, using first-principles crystal structure prediction method in combination with first-principles calculations, we uncovered seven thermodynamically stable electrides in the electron-rich Li-Si system at a pressure range of 25–100 GPa, namely C2/cLi5Si, CmcmLi6Si, P21/mLi7Si, ImmaLi7Si, C2/cLi8Si, CmcmLi9Si, and I222Li10Si. Among these predicted structures, five of them are superconductor. In particular, the superconducting critical temperature Tc of I222Li10Si was estimated to be approximately 15 K at 95 GPa. Our in-depth analysis shows that this high superconductivity is attributed to the strong coupling between the Li-p electrons and the Li-dominated phonon softening at low frequencies. Additionally, Li10Si undergoes a phase transition from solid state to superionic state at 60 GPa and 850 K, where Si atoms remain fixed to form the lattice, allowing for the diffusion of Li atoms within the interstitial position. Our results reveal the emergence of two distinct dynamic states of superconducting and superionic in this particular system, and the further experimental studies are thus stimulated.

In this paper,we propose a real-time energy-efficient anticipative driving control strategy for connected and automated hybrid electric vehicles(HEVs).Considering the inherent complexities brought about by the velocity profile optimization and energy management control,a hierarchical control architecture in the model predictive control(MPC)framework is developed for real-time *** the higher level controller,a novel velocity optimization problem is proposed to realize safe and energy-efficient anticipative *** real-time control actions are derived through a computationally efficient *** the lower level controller,an explicit solution of the optimal torque split ratio and gear shift schedule is introduced for following the optimal velocity profile obtained from the higher level *** comparative simulation results demonstrate that the proposed strategy can achieve approximately 13%fuel consumption saving compared with a benchmark strategy.

Waste collection is an important part of waste management *** costs and carbon emissions can be greatly reduced by proper vehicle ***,each vehicle can work again after achieving its capacity limit and unloading the *** this,an energy-efficient multi-trip vehicle routing model is established for municipal solid waste collection,which incorporates practical factors like the limited capacity,maximum working hours,and multiple trips of each *** both economy and environment,fixed costs,fuel costs,and carbon emission costs are minimized *** solve the formulated model effectively,contribution-based adaptive particle swarm optimization is *** strategies named greedy learning,multi-operator learning,exploring learning,and exploiting learning are specifically designed with their own searching *** assessing the contribution of each learning strategy during the process of evolution,an appropriate one is selected and assigned to each individual adaptively to improve the searching efficiency of the ***,an improved local search operator is performed on the trips with the largest number of waste sites so that both the exploiting ability and the convergence accuracy of the algorithm are *** of the proposed algorithm is tested on ten waste collection instances,which include one real-world case derived from the Green Ring Company of Jiangbei New District,Nanjing,China,and nine synthetic instances with increasing scales generated from the commonly-used capacitated vehicle routing problem benchmark *** with five state-of-the-art algorithms show that the proposed algorithm can obtain a solution with a higher accuracy for the constructed model.

This paper applies the reinforcement learning (RL) to multi-stage impulsive trajectory design of the manned lunar mission. The manned spacecraft is modeled as the agent and the nonlinear dynamics in the cislunar space is the interaction environment of the agent. Then the Markov decision model is mathematically built for the spacecraft and the optimization goal is to minimize the total impulses in the whole mission. The Q-learning method is used to learn the optimal policy and to better train the agent to explore and exploit the environment, a reshaping reward is designed to improve the convergency and effectiveness of the algorithm. Numerical results give the integrated designs of the lunar transfer orbit, Earth transfer orbit and three-impulsive lunar injection/ejection orbit. The proposed reshaping reward function shows better performance compared with the non-reshaping reward. The conclusions could provide a reference for China’s future manned lunar project. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.

Secure short-packet communications using a full-duplex receiver

In this work, we consider the physical layer security in short-packet communications, where a full-duplex (FD) receiver receives information signals from a source while generating artificial noise (AN) to confuse an eavesdropper. Taking into account the finite blocklength coding and the self-interference (SI) in FD mode, we derive new approximation closed-form expression for the secrecy throughput. Moreover, we analyze the asymptotic secrecy throughput in two distinct scenarios, i.e., high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) regime and infinite blocklength coding, to gain more insights. Our examination illustrates the correctness of our expressions and shows how the critical system variables affect the secrecy throughput. © 2023 The Authors
