Aiming at the problem of insufficient anti-disturbance performance and control accuracy of the traditional double closed-loop control strategy in the grid-connected inverter of permanent magnet direct drive wind power system, this paper proposes a control strategy that applies linear active disturbance rejection control technology to the voltage outer loop controller. To improve the control performance of the DC bus voltage. By introducing the sum disturbance signal in the expanded state observer (ESO) to observe its change trend, an effective early correction signal is generated, thereby improving the control system dynamic disturbance observation ability. The analysis of frequency response characteristics and simulation results under various working conditions show that, compared with traditional control methods, this method not only has a faster response speed, but also has a better anti-interference ability. © 2020 IEEE.

Gastric hemorrhage in upper gastrointestinal bleeding is an obvious indicator of deteriorating gastric disease. This paper proposes a capsule robot system for detecting bleeding in the stomach. The patient ingests a capsule robot containing luminol reagent, which detects bleeding in the stomach via chemiluminescence. The MCU receives the optical sensor signal, and the data is transmitted via radio frequency. The external lower computer receives and forwards the data to the upper computer for processing and display. The data is used to determine the presence and amount of stomach bleeding. Chemiluminescence is an excellent sensor, requiring no external energy supply, and demonstrating excellent sensitivity and selectivity. Combining chemical and electronic sensors presents opportunities for further development. Capsule robot detection reduces the discomfort and risk of secondary injury associated with traditional endoscopy. This paper establishes an experimental platform using porcine blood to simulate human blood, demonstrating the feasibility of the system. © 2023 IEEE.

Aero-optical imaging deviation-based study of exposure times for a typical blunt-ended air vehicle

In this paper, based on aero-optical imaging deviation, the exposure time required for the transition from transient to steady state under different boundary conditions is investigated for a typical blunt-ended air vehicle, and two methods of determining the flight state of a typical blunt-ended air vehicle are proposed. It is shown that the lower air density at higher altitudes leads to a decrease in the heat transfer efficiency and prolongs the time required to reach thermal equilibrium. The increase in Mach number accelerates the heating of the optical dome but delays the process of the system reaching steady state. Therefore, when optimizing the design to mitigate aero-optical effects, it is more critical to control the maximum temperature of the air vehicle at steady state than simply pursuing a high Mach. This study provides an important theoretical basis for the design of hypersonic air vehicles.

An alternative method for conducted immunity tests using multiple CDNs

Measuring immunity is very important when it comes to studying the electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of a device. At present, most of the standards relating to conducted immunity tests are designed for laboratory use, and the conducted immunity tests are often performed by using coupling/decoupling networks (CDN), in accordance with the international standard EN61000-4-6. However, the laboratory equipment has some limitations. If the (EUT) requires high currents, it is not possible to use one CDN on the mains side because a single CDN cannot handle the high currents involved. To overcome this problem, an alternative method is proposed for conducted immunity tests using multiple CDNs by splitting the mains current sufficiently to meet the current specifications of each individual CDN. From these tests, correction factors (CF) are extracted based on the analysis of loop impedances and injected loop currents in the standard laboratory test setups and in the alternative multi-CDN test setups. Finally, a link is established between the reference method and the multi-CDN method, and then, the equalization between them is realized with these correction factors. © 2012 IEEE.

From DK-STP to Non-square General Linear Algebra and General Linear Group

A new matrix product, called dimension keeping semi-tensor product (DK-STP), is proposed. Under DK-STP, the set of m × n matrices becomes a semi-group (G(m × n, F)), and a ring, denoted by R(m × n, F). Then the action of semi-group G(m×n, F) on dimension-free Euclidian space, denoted by R∞, is discussed. This action leads to discrete-time and continuous time S-systems. Their trajectories are calculated, and their invariant subspaces are revealed. Through this action, some important concepts for square matrices, such as eigenvalue, eigenvector, determinant, invertibility, etc., have been extended to non-square matrices. Particularly, it is surprising that the famous Cayley-Hamilton theory can also been extended to non-square matrices. Finally, the Lie bracket can also be defined, which turns the set of m × n matrices into a Lie algebra, called non-square (or STP) general linear algebra, denoted by gl(m × n, F). Moreover, a Lie group, called the non-square (or STP) general Lie group and denoted by GL(m × n, F), is constructed, which has gl(m × n, F) as its Lie algebra. Their relationship with classical Lie group GL(m, F) and Lie algebra gl(m, F) has also been revealed. © 2023, CC BY.

In order to solve the common issues of unclear repaired images and incoherent semantics in occluded face image inpainting, we propose a two-stage generation network that combines multi-scale joint and contextual attention. The first stage of the network uses a multi-scale parallel encoder-decoder to obtain preliminary inpainting results, and the second stage uses the context attention module to refine the inpainting details. Based on the idea of generating adversarial networks (GAN), we introduced a global&local discriminator to maintain the consistency of global and local content. Apart from the adversarial loss caused by GAN, our method also combines spatial attenuation reconstruction loss and a similar Markov random fields loss for training to further enhance the quality of the produced images. A large number of experiments on the CelebA and CelebA-HQ face datasets show that our method can obtain a relatively good inpainting effect.

An adaptive resilient control is concerned for a class of cyber-physical systems(CPSs) in presence of stealthy false data injection attacks in sensor networks and unknown strict-feedback nonlinear dynamics. As the sensors are attacked by ill-disposed hackers, the exactly measured state information is unavailable for state feedback control. After theory ratiocinations, the initial issue of false data injection attacks is transformed into nonlinear uncertainty dynamics and unknown control directions at the last step. At each step in the recursive backstepping control, extended state observers(ESOs) in active disturbance rejection control(ADRC) are investigated to approximate the lumped system uncertainties. Specially, the Nussbaum functions are introduced at the last step in the adaptive control. All the closed-loop signals are proved to be semi-globally uniformly ultimately bounded by Lyapunov theory. Finally, numerical simulations verify that the proposed control can afford favorable stabilization performance and counter false data injection attack. © 2021, CC BY.

In the process of long-time object tracking based on LCT, aiming at the problems of re detection after tracking failure in the case of scale change, background similar interference and severe occlusion, the paper presents a better algorithm based on the combination of LCT kernel correlation filter and Kalman prediction. The Kalman filter is introduced into the re detection module of LCT. When the object tracking fails, the Kalman filter is used to predict the position of the object in the current frame before the re detection. Compared with the original algorithm, it avoids the whole frame image traversal search, reduces the search range of the object, and lower the interference of similar objects in the background. The experimental results show that the improved LCT algorithm has better accuracy and rapidity, and has better tracking performance in the case of object occlusion.

Deep convolutional neural networks (CNN) have achieved remarkable progress in the image processing field during the past decade. However, most existing CNN-based object detection algorithms mainly delve into network-deepening, overlooking the exploration of the inherent relationship amongst the features. To address this issue, an end-to-end Mix-domain Attention Network (MAN) is proposed. First, the backbone and head of MAN adopt the structure of YOLOv5 (YOLOv5 is a family of object detection architectures and models pre-trained on the COCO dataset by Ultralytics). Then, we embed two key modules in the backbone and head: non-local blocks and stereoscopic attention group (SAG). Non-local blocks are different from CNN’s local operations in that they can capture long-distance spatial contextual information (Such as the pixel-to-pixel relationship in images, and the pixel-to-pixel relationship between different frames in video streams) and combined with the residual structure, this allows the feature dimensions of the input and output to be consistent. Subsequently, the features extracted from the non-local blocks will be further passed through a trainable stereoscopic attention group to calculate the correlation of channel-to-channel, pixel-to-pixel, and update the output features. The Non-local operation is the self-attention mechanism and the SAG operation is the channel and spatial attention mechanism. Our innovation is the combination of these two operations to form a Mix-domain attention mechanism. The Non-local increases the connection between the pixel points. The SAG allows the model to focus more on the places that need attention. The combination of these two modules enhances recognition accuracy.
