This paper proposes a multi-agent approach to power system restoration. So far,numerous studies have been conducted on power system restoration problems. From the view point of the system structures, these researches can be divided into two categories:centralized systems and decentralized systems. In this study, we have solved the distribution power system restoration problem by using multi-agent approach, which is categorized in the distributed approach. The solved solutions have been compared with the solutions which were solved by the mathematical programming approach. From the simulation results, it can be seen the proposed restoration method could reach the right solution by making use of only local information. The solution quality is equivalent to the quality of the centralized system. This means that the proposed multi-agent restoration system is a promising approach to more large-scale distribution network.

Genetic algorithms (GA) and ant colony algorithm (ACO) are computational models that simulate the process of biological evolution and are widely applied to problems related to path planning. This paper proposes a path planning algorithm which combines the genetic algorithm and the ant colony algorithm. The hybrid algorithm overcomes the problem of genetic algorithm's poor ability in local search, and overcomes the slow convergence speed, local optimal solution of ant colony algorithm's in the process of convergence. The effectiveness and rapidity of the proposed hybrid algorithm is verified by simulation and experiment. The overall performance is better than the genetic algorithm and the ant colony algorithm. Finally, we carried out the experiments to verify the effectiveness of the proposed hybrid algorithm which could avoid collision and reach the target safely, and the proposed hybrid algorithm was compared with ACO and GA respectively. The experimental results showed that the proposed hybrid algorithm overcame the defects of ACO and GA, verified the effectiveness and rapidity of the proposed hybrid algorithm.

In the roll position adjustment of current steel tube production line, roller parameters decision for new tube is only based on the artificial experience and field measurement. Lack of effective prediction method leads to the low yield of production line and the waste of labor cost. This paper takes the F400 steel tube production line as the research object. Firstly, the stream of variation model for roll forming process is established and used to predicting the roller parameter. Then, according to historical roller parameters, the machine learning prediction model is built with principal component analysis and BP neural network. Finally, the predictive simulation and production test based on the PCA-BP model is performed. The simulation and experiment results show that PCA-BP intelligent prediction outperforms the stream of variation model and artificial roller adjustment, and the production error can be controlled within 2 mm. PCA-BP prediction method shorten the changing time, improve the adjustment accuracy of new steel tube, solve the problems of production yield and labor cost, and is advantageous to the actual production application.

Power semiconductor devices are essential components in the field of power electronics. They have broad application prospects in switching power supply, frequency conversion, display, energy saving, and ecological and environmental protection. IGBT modules are rapidly evolving semiconductor power devices that combine the benefits of MOSFET and GTR. IGBT modules are the core components of energy conversion and transmission, which not only have high-speed switching characteristics and gating characteristics of MOSFET but also have low saturation voltage drop characteristics of GTR. The internal structures of IGBT modules are complex, so it is necessary to get an accurate and effective method for extracting parasitic parameters of IGBT modules. In this paper, a three-stage method is introduced to extract the parasitic parameters of IGBT modules. Compared with conventional measurement methods, this method is more convenient and precise. Finally, the method is applied to the extraction and calculation of an IGBT module, which further verifies the usability and practicability of the method.

Malodorous gas sensor array system for the olfaction robot is developed with four sensors including two semiconductor metal oxide sensors, a electrochemical sensor and a photoionization detector (PID). The system structure and experiments analysis are introduced in this paper. Result of experiments show that the steady system can keep ±0.03V fluctuation limited from 0 to 5 V after it stabilized and the maximum difference of response less than 0.02V. It means that the developed system can be satisfied for the olfaction application of robots in malodorous environment.
