This paper proposed a multidimensional information monitoring method for a novel master-slave robotic vascular interventional system. We have designed a contact force sensor based on pressure sensitive rubber to transmit the force information to surgeon to improve the security during VIS (vascular interventional surgery). Furthermore, the motion information of catheter is also monitored in the information monitoring system. The multidimensional information monitoring system can also send out a warning message to remind the operator of the danger. The simulation experiments (in vivo) have been carried out to verify the information monitoring system. And, we got the force information by the contact force sensor when the catheter contacted with the blood vessel. We also carried out the motion monitoring experiment and got the motion data of the catheter. The experimental results indicated that the information monitoring system for the master-slave system works well and can improve the security of the master-slave system. In addition, the information monitoring system can provide convenience for the operator and avoid danger when the value exceeding a threshold.

In this paper, a linear active disturbance rejection controller is proposed for a solar heating system assisted by ground-source heat pump, whose model is obtained by applying the system identification technique. The disturbances imposed on the heating system are estimated through an extended linear state observer and then compensated by a linear feedback control strategy. The proposed control strategy is applied to a 300 kW heating system to handle the thermal load variations of grid and process disturbances. The effectiveness of this controller is verified via a simulation study, and the results demonstrate that the proposed strategy can provide good tracking performance and disturbance rejection.

The rub-impact fault is one of the important faults of the rotating machinery. The rub-impact fault signal may be nonlinear and non-stationary. The Hilbert-Huang transform (HHT) is based on time-frequency signal processing technology, which is suitable for nonlinear and non-stationary signals. In this paper, the HHT transform is used to analyze the time-frequency characteristic of the rub-impact fault signal of a rotor test rig. The velocity sensor is used to measure the vibration signal of the rub-impact fault rotor. The experimental result shows that the HHT transform can effectively detect the rub-impact fault of the rotor, which implies great potential of the HHT transform in the fault diagnosis of rotor system.

The capsule robot is one of important development direction in the field of wireless micro robot in-pipe and it is becoming a powerful tool for gastrointestinal tract inspection. In this paper, we proposed the symmetrical spiral micro robot with gravity compensation mechanism and then analysed the buoyancy and resistance of the robot in the fluid. Finally, we carried on the performance evaluation experiments of the robot in the fluid. The experimental results indicated that the micro robot has a good dynamic performance when the flow is about 26ml/min, compared to other flow value. In the horizontal direction the maximum velocity of the robot is about 30.44mm/s and 6.49mm/s in the case of downstream and counter current respectively. In the vertical direction the maximum velocity of the robot is about 10.1mm/s and 1.34mm/s in the case of downstream and counter current respectively while it is doing upward movement. In the vertical direction the maximum velocity of the micro robot is about 10.11mm/s and 1.337mm/s in the case of downstream and counter current respectively while it is doing downward movement. In addition, the flow has influence on transition frequency of the micro robot. The faster flow is, the lower transition frequency of the micro robot has. The experimental platform we set up can reflect the conditions of human gastrointestinal tract, so the performance evaluation of the micro robot in this paper will provide a strong support for the future clinical application.

By means of building up a three-dimension coordinate system in vector space, the coordinate transform used in instantaneous reactive power theory (IRPT) proposed by H. Akagi is deduced and through spatial coordinate transform two equivalent three-dimension coordinate systems are obtained. After rigorous mathematical deduction the transformation factor for above-mentioned three-dimension coordinate systems is achieved, thus the coefficient deduction for IRPT is solved and the zero-sequence quantity expressing three-phase asymmetrical system is directly obtained. By use of the theory of rotating phasor, the basic principle of instantaneous spatial vector detection method based on IRPT is explained. The authors’ analysis is available for understanding and improvement of this harmonic current detection method.

An Active Disturbance Rejection based solution is proposed for the position control of a standard inverted pendulum system, demonstrating a largely model independent design that is distinctly different from existing model-based designs from classical as well as modern controltheory. The quality of the control loop is further improved with a unique double disturbance observer design, which rejects independently the disturbance and uncertainty in both the pendulum itself and the cart that carries it. This proposed approach offers a promising and practical solution because it's intuitive to understand and easy to tune, in addition to its strong performance and effectiveness shown in both simulation study and real time experimentation.
