At present, the design and research bicycle mainly focus on optimizing the structure, few studies on cyclist biomechanics. As the most important part, human body, in a human-bicycle system, the study on cyclist biomechanics has extremely important significance for bicycle design. Depending on the saddle's height measurement parameters: the different maximal knee joint angle ranging from 120° to 150° during riding, the paper researched the cyclists knee and hip forces at different saddle heights using modern technology. We firstly collected the dynamic information of different pose movements utilizing LUKOTRONIC motion capture system in cycling test. Then according to human physical parameters of a cyclist, we established an analogical model in LifeMOD as well as a dynamical model of the bicycle in PRO/E and ADAMS unite-modeling using the parameters based on the movement data. Dynamics simulation of the inverse and forward was finally performed. The results show that the forces of knee and hip joint are smallest, respectively, when the maximal knee joint angle riding at the height is 130°, and the angle may be appropriate saddle height for other cyclists, and could be the comfortable posture when riding. © 2014 WIT Press.

Intervertebral disk (IVD) is an important structure to maintain spine in the function of bearing load and motion. Degenerative disease and protrusion of IVD have close relationship with its mechanics state, so it is necessary to study the mechanical behavior of IVD which will provide a good guide for preventing and treating relevant diseases. This paper first analyzed the strain distribution in different areas of the IVD under bending load using digital image correlation technology and obtained the mechanics characteristics of lumbar disk when body bends down. The experimental results show that the maximum strain appears in the ventral area of the IVD in the process of bending, and the strain of the outer annulus fibrosus in the IVD is twice as high as inner. © 2014 WIT Press.

This paper investigates insensitive H ∞ control problems for linear continuous-time systems with input and measurement quantization via static output feedback (SOF). The designed controllers are insensitive to additive interval-bounded controller coefficient variations and are made up of two parts as linear and nonlinear parts. The former is used to achieve the H ∞ performance against external disturbances, unknown initial states and controller coefficient variations. The latter is used to attenuate the effect of input and measurement quantization simultaneously. It should be mentioned that three novel linear matrix inequality (LMI) conditions by using three different methods without introducing a matrix equality constraint as many existing results are obtained. Finally, a numerical example is presented to show the effectiveness and advantages of the proposed methods.

The technique of stereo matching is an important research goal of spherical stereo vision system, which is widely used in visual navigation, motion analysis and panoramic surveillance areas. Fisheye lens can get view images of large field, this paper uses two fisheye lens whose optical axis are perpendicular to construct spherical stereo vision system and does research in stereo matching of spherical stereo vision system. As the image that fish eye lens collected has lager distortion, this paper does stereo matching with the images the system collected without distortion correction using matching algorithm based on maximally stable extremal regions (MSER) and affine scale invariant feature transform (ASIFT) to reduce the correction error generated in the process. The experiment results show that the algorithm can be applied in stereo matching of fish eye image without distortion, and the results meets the need of 3D reconstruction.

To investigate the periodontal ligament contains the real root of the three model cases, a combination of different implant and tooth variation of the stress distribution for the subsequent three root implant biomechanics analysis provides digital models. Methods: Mimics and Geomagic reverse engineering software for digital imaging method to obtain CT data processing. And the use of UG assembled in ANSYS workbench in finite element analysis. Results: A consistent with the real situation of three tooth root finite element model which contains periodontal ligament, and found that with the dental implant junction with the cross-sectional area decreases, where the stress amplitude fluctuations increases. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

For the four kinds of network protocols which are common in industry:PROFIBUS-DP, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP and Modbus-RTU, a gateway has been designed which could integrate the four protocols,and have developed hardware and software program of the Multi-protocol self-adaptation *** uses STM32F407ZGT6 as its major chip. A Modbus-RTU interface has been designed which depends on the UART interface of the main chip to send and receive packets in hardware. It use COMX as hardware interface of PROFIBUS-DP,DeviceNet,and EtherNet/IP to process their packets. It has achieved a function that the PROFIBUS-DP interface will change its address with the changing of the configuration of *** addition, the multi-protocol self-adaptation gateway can integrate several masters which support different protocols in one network. The master controllers could communicate with each other in this *** being tested and verified,it has been used in the communication of DCS systems, and it has converted the packets of the four protocols which have been mentioned above and it has met the demands of designing a gateway. © 2014, Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

Based on characteristics of image acquisition system of high-speed and large-capacity, this paper presents a CMOS Image sensor data acquisition system that is using FPGA Chip as its core processing devices. Data acquisition logic control unit is designed by FPGA. The modular structure of the system design, FIFO, ping-pong and other technology are used in the design process to ensure real-time data acquisition and transmission. FPGA implementation of video acquisition can improve system performance. It also has a strong adaptability and flexibility, and it is easy to design, debug and so on. Explore the degradation rule of the magnesium alloys in simple mechanical environment. Select a kind of magnesium alloy of better degradation by experiment and prepare screws. The experiment totally contains five groups, they are control group one with no specific conditions, experimental group two with 0.1Mpa external pressure, experimental group three with 0.2Mpa external pressure, pig femoral experimental group four with 0.2N shear force, pig femoral experimental group five with 0.3N shear force. Record the volume of hydrogen every certain time interval and observe the surface morphology of magnesium alloy screws through Object Deformation Image Capture System when the experiment is over to reflect the degradation rate of magnesium alloys. And the experiment would be repeated once to ensure the test results. Compared to group one, when external pressure exists, the volume of hydrogen significantly increases. Group two and group three have no significant difference in results, but group three has a greater degree of degradation than group two by observing the surface morphology. The volume of hydrogen of group four and group five is smaller than that of the first group in that smaller volume of screws exposes in SBF. The volume of hydrogen of the fifth group is greater than that of group four. Group five has a greater degree of degradation than the fourth group by observing the surface morphology. The repeated experiment basically keeps the same conditions, but the volume of hydrogen of group three is greater than that of group two. Mechanical environment has an impact on the degradation rate of magnesium alloys. The pressure of the environment affects the degradation rate of magnesium alloys. The greater the pressure, the faster the degradation rate. The external force affects degradation rate of magnesium alloys. The greater the shear force, the faster the degradation rate. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In this paper, to exploring the less d.o.f parallel manipulator, the authors choose the 3-RRRT parallel manipulator as researching object, build a D-H coordinate system after reasonable analysis with the thought of virtual link, and then establish a mathematical model of kinematic by using the method of Homogeneous Coordinate Transformation. The direct and inverse solutions will be obtained by using the MATLAB software. At last, the solutions and the mathematical model will be proved right with PRO / E software. © 2014 IEEE.

Radar Level Meter is being more and more widely used in the industry field. However, due to the complex radar system, the noise contained in the clutter echo signal, and the interference within the system and hardware, it is quietly significant to study the research of radar echo reduction technology. Based on the introduction of radar level meter ‘working theory, This paper presents a wavelet transform analysis of the echo signal de-noising method. Studies have shown that the radar echo signal processing method of using wavelet transform can effectively suppress noise, remove interference and achieve echo signal de-noising processing. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
