Under partially shaded conditions, the P-U characteristic of the photovoltaic (PV) array is characterized by multiple peaks. The presence of multiple peaks reduces the effectiveness of the existing maximum power point tracking (MPPT) schemes, which refers only to the tracking of a single peak on the P-U characteristic. This paper proposes a novel method for the global MPPT. The new method starts at the starting voltage which is 80% of the open-circuit voltage of the PV array, and finds the first local maximum power point (MPP) using the perturb and observe (P&O) approach. Then the second search finds the next local MPP based on the P&O approach starting from the new starting voltage, which is determined by increasing the rate of slope of the current line at the first local MPP. The new algorithm follows this searching procedure until the global MPP is found. The new algorithm avoids searching the turning-point voltage between the two local MPP, and the voltage range swept is shortened significantly with the result of fast searching speed. Simulations validates that under partially shaded conditions the proposed new algorithm can track the global MPP with the fast tracking speed and the high precision. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In our previous work, moving pattern based modeling and control was proposed. In this paper, based on our previous work, a fault detection method based on moving pattern is proposed, and interval number is still used to measure moving pattern. Based on the history operating condition data, moving pattern based dynamic model is formed. The model gives the pattern class to which operating condition patterns belong, and whether the fault is happened. In addition, the nearest neighbor pattern and secondary nearest neighbor pattern are defined in this paper. At last, the validity of the proposed fault detection method is verified by the practical operating condition pattern data of the sintering process of Anyang Steel and Iron Works. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In this paper, we designed a new type of high precision 1 μA constant current source after deeply studying the high precision precise dc constant current source. Compared with the traditional constant current source, in this paper we adopted complex amplifier added with floating power supply outside to design high precision dc constant current source which is for China's space use, its output current is 1 μA, resolution is 0.1 nA, accuracy is 0.5. This high precise dc constant current source is mainly used for new model rocket engine performance testing in aerospace, but also can be widely applied in different fields in need of precision measurement. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

With the increase of switching frequency of power switch, EMI noise pollution becomes more and more serious. In order to solve this problem, in this paper, the switch power supply filter and passive EMI filter, active EMI filter is studied. It mainly research active EMI filter with feed forward, non-inductive current detection device of active EMI filter and active EMI filter for threephase inverter motor. To solve this problem which is that EMI noise pollution has become more serious along with the increase of switching frequency switch power supply, the increasingly serious pollution make the EMI filter technology have a wide range of applications and put forward higher request to filter technology

A wireless microrobot may be used in the small space and biomedical practice, especially in the industrial field and biomedical application. In this paper, we designed a new kind of wireless microrobot with symmetrical spiral structure, which have more compact volume, completely symmetrical mechanical structure, quick response, forward-backward motions and can clean the dirt adhering to the inner wall. According to the hydromechanical lubrication theory and Newton viscous law, we build the motion model of the microrobot. Through analysis, simulations and experiments, this paper had evaluated the effect of spiral depth and thread unit number. In addition, we verified the feasibility of this new kind of microrobots, and obtained the moving speeds of forward-backward and upward-downward motion in the pipe. The experimental results indicated that the maximum moving speed is 22.68 mm/s at 12 Hz in the horizontal direction and 6.29 mm/s at 13Hz in the vertical direction with input currents of 0.7A. Finally, we designed a control panel for this system, which can control the microrobot current motion states easily, and make our system more portable and compact. The designed wireless microrobot can move smoothly in water and other liquid medium and is very useful in the industrial application and microsurgery application.

In the distribution network fault section positioning, the standard genetic algorithm can be used effectively. But the network including Distributed Generator power supply has its own characteristics, and the genetic algorithm appear some defects. Therefore, aiming at accurate positioning of faults in the network including DGs, the genetic algorithm coding and fitness function are improved in the paper. Through simulation, the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified. © 2012 IEEE.

The stable linear switched systems will converge to the balance Point. If different switched laws be chosen, the convergence Process will not be the same, so there is an optimal switched law. The issues of optimal switched law based on norm, convergence radius, convergence distance and convergence direction are respectively studied, and the optimal switched law is confirmed by solution of matrix equation. All kinds of instance have been considered synthetically, the synthetic optimal switched law is given, by which an optimal status of system in convergence process is reflected roundly. By calculate and simulation of practice examples and the using process of stability criterion is realized distinctly. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

For the hysteretic problems of using offline monitoring in traditional petrochemical corporations heating furnace, a design of realizing multimode heating furnace combustion state online monitoring system based on ZigBee technology is proposed. The system send the collected flue gas data to the PLC by the online flue gas analyzer, and send the flue gas data to configuration interface in the computer of control room for monitoring by the wireless network. The results of application show that the system is steady and reliable, and the data transmission is right and very stable and accord with the requirement desired. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

As an application layer protocol of CAN bus, CANopen has wide application in industry. This paper presents a kind of CANopen slave node based on AVR hardware platform of AT90CAN128. Firstly the structure of the slave node hardware platform of the AVR microcontroller AT90CAN128 and CAN bus control based on embedded CAN driver module CTM1050 is proposed. Then the open-source protocol stack CANFestival software design and the specific method are described. CANopen network testing platform is built to test the design of the CANopen slave node. The experimental results illustrate that the proposed solution and implementation method is correct and effective. © (2012) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.
