Based on the theory of wavelet analysis and principal component analysis, multiscale PCA is introduced which combines the ability of PCA to decorrelate the variables by extracting a linear relationship, with that of wavelet analysis to extract deterministic features and approximately decorrelate autocorrelated measurements to improve the performance of PCA whose modeling is limited to a single scale. It is applied to the fault monitor and diagnose of floating production storage and off loading system. The result show: the fault diagnose method based on multiscale principal components analysis can realized FPSO earlier period fault monitor and diagnose accurately, and the capability of multiscale principal components analysis fault diagnosis is better than the principal components analysis for the small disturbance.

An improved unsupervised neural network of ART2 is proposed to judge the pattern of blast furnace states. In this method six variables viz. charging speed, air flow, air temperature, air pressure, permeability indices and Si composition of liquid iron are determined to express the blast furnace states in a smelting process. The values of these variables are gained from the slide windows in order to overcome their time-varying difficulty. The pattern of blast furnace states is classified by ART2’s competition learning and self steady mechanics. The simulation shows this method is effective. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2009.

Omni-directional vision appears the definite significance since its advantage of acquiring all vision information simultaneously. In this paper, an integrated omni-directional vision tracker based on the configuration with CMOS, FPGA and DSP has been implemented. Fisheye lens is one of the most efficient ways to establish omni-directional vision systems, however, it appear with an unavoidable inherent distortion. An imaging system model which consists of fisheye-lens and the embedded tracker has been proposed. A novel beacon owning the feature of particular topology shape can be identified by the appropriative recognition processes. Particle filter has been programmed as an intersectional arithmetic structure which processes the same step of several particle filters simultaneously. We called it as Multiple Intersection Particle Filter. MIPF makes multi-targets tracking efficiently and successfully on embedded platform. A rectification technique based on equidistant projection theorem is used for correction some distorted image point. The localization method just employs the picture position of two objects to estimate the space position and orientation for AGV. After target recognition, vision tracking, rectification, and object positioning functions actualized on the embedded omni-directional vision tracker, autonomous navigation has been demonstrated on experimental AGV. © 2009 SPIE.

Digital down converter is the core technology of soft radio receivers. It lets the high-speed-sampled digital signals down-conversion to base band down at first. Then extraction, low-pass filter are conducted. This paper focuses on modeling and simulation by SIMULINK of digital mixing converter part and CIC decimation filter part of digital down converter and the realization on FPGA. The results show that the digital down-conversion, to reduce redundant data extraction method, can effectively solve those issues of too large computation pressure and too broad frequency-band channel encountered in the conventional A/D sampling DSP digital signal processing.

The paper mainly studies the designs of LA, LS and LAS codes. Then it makes simulation for theirs auto-correlation functions and cross-correlation functions. Simulation and analysis show that, LAS code has zero cross-correlation in the "zero interference window", and has only an impulse auto-correlation in the "zero interference window", and these excellent features help to eliminate ACI, MAI and ISI, thus it increases the system capacity largely. So it has more large potential than traditional codes.

The quality of mobile communications have been severely affected by interference among users in TD-SCDMA, in allusion to this problem, the smart antenna adaptive beam-forming algorithm are researched deeply in the thesis. According to the technical features that smart antenna can adaptive track the user signals realize the design and simulation of smart antenna in interference suppression, and compare and analyze the result then prove the advantage and disadvantage of two algorithms. We simulates the adaptive filter with MATLAB, the results prove that it can suppression interference in TD-SCDMA system with the effectiveness.

In recent years, secure communication is becoming one of the researching hotspots in information safety. Some problems of chaotic synchronization and its application in communication are studied on the bases of the theory of nonlinear dynamics. It is a mode of correspondence, which transmits the desired information in the channel by means of encrypting, and then decrypts them at the receiving end. Chaos encryption is to encrypt the plaintexts and utilize random-like characteristics of chaos signal to secure the real-time communication. This paper bases on nonlinear dynamics theory and starts from stability theory of dynamic system. In addition, it adopts logistic mapping of discrete chaotic system and uses modular operation to design the synchronization and secure communication. This design is easily realization and has stronger anti-interference ability, and then the secure capacity of secure communication system is nice.

The existing problems of conventional RTK in actual applications specifically indicate that the difference technology can only eliminate the public error between base station and subscriber station under certain conditions. With the increases of baseline length (more than 20 km), the correlation of errors between tropospheric and ionospheric weakens or even disappears such that, the differential GPS technology loses its theoretical foundation. The experimental analysis shows that in network RTK, the Virtual Reference Station RTK technology enables VRS technology to extend the effective distance from 15 km to 50 km or more, and thus, to greatly enhance the relative positioning accuracy in medium-baseline and long-baseline (20~50 km).

With the rapid development of modern intelligent traffic, the speed-testing radar becomes a kind of essential equipment, which measures speed through the acquisition of the moving target signal frequency deviation according to Doppler principles. Traditional method uses analog filtering, whose measurement accuracy is low and the measured speed is slow. Obviously, it's difficult to meet the need of the modern intelligent transportation management. Speed radar signal processing generally uses the power spectrum estimation method. Periodogram Spectral estimation (using Hamming window periodogram method) considers for different signal to noise ratio of the data spectral estimation, and finally receives the largest frequency error to meet the system requirements for measurement accuracy.
