Variable universe adaptive fuzzy controller tunes automatically the contraction-expansion factor and universe varies with error of the system. By this approach, the accuracy and the adaptivity of the system can be improved. Aiming at the nonlinearity and time-delay of the plant, a variable universe adaptive fuzzy control for liquid lever system is proposed. First, the mathematical model of the plant is established. Then, a variable universe adaptive fuzzy controller (VUAFC) is designed to control the open degree of valve in the liquid lever system. Simulation results show that the approach improves performance in the transient and steady state of liquid lever.

Fingerprint feature detection is one of the key techniques of automatic fingerprint identification. There are some problems of rotation and shift in the present fingerprint feature detection. This paper has given an algorithm of bifurcation detection based on neural network template matching. Correlative matching is to calculate the correlative value between template and target image according to a certain criteria when the template moves on the target image. The center of best matching is considered as fingerprint feature. The criteria of scaling the matching value is regarded as optimization function. Thus, matching recognition is converted into function optimization. The designed matcher based on neural network template can keep rotation invariant when the target image has the rotation of a certain angle. Finally, bifurcation can be extracted by multi-input and single-output three-layer feed forward neural network. The experimental results based on FVCX, have shown that the algorithm has rotation and shift invariant.

To solve the problem caused by the inherent design of AC motor that 20%~40% energy of traditional escalator goes to waste in vain in the form of heat, this paper puts forward to the best control project of the escalator energy-saving control-adopting instantaneous detect technology, single-chip control, intelligent control system with speed control and voltage control and frequency converter, based on adaptive fuzzy algorithm to diagnose the fault of the escalator, detect dynamic state person (two class) by single-chip control, automatic transformation escalator frequency converter controller's work method like speed control and voltage control, and safety monitor protection circuit to optimize the performance of the escalator. The practice shows that energy can be saved more than 40% by this system.
