The research of adversarial attacks in the text domain attracts many interests in the last few years, and many methods with a high attack success rate have been proposed. However, these attack methods are inefficient as they require lots of queries for the victim model when crafting text adversarial examples. In this paper, a novel attack model is proposed, its attack success rate surpasses the benchmark attack methods, but more importantly, its attack efficiency is much higher than the benchmark attack methods. The novel method is empirically evaluated by attacking WordCNN, LSTM, BiLSTM, and BERT on four benchmark datasets. For instance, it achieves a 100% attack success rate higher than the state-of-the-art method when attacking BERT and BiLSTM on IMDB, but the number of queries for the victim models only is 1/4 and 1/6.5 of the state-of-the-art method, respectively. Also, further experiments show the novel method has a good transferability on the generated adversarial examples. © 2021, CC BY.

Energy costs associated with the consumption of non-renewable energy sources have become an important issue in improving the international competitiveness of agriculture. Wind power, as a renewable energy source, can replace non-renewable energy sources to reduce energy costs and improve the sustainability of agricultural. However, the inherent intermittency, randomness, and volatility within weather conditions and wind speed presents a substantial challenge in accurately predicting wind power generation. This work proposes a novel YJQR-LSTM algorithm that leverages Yeo-Johnson quantile regression (YJQR) with a long short-term memory (LSTM) network for nonparametric probabilistic forecasting of wind power generation via the Intelligent Internet of Things. First, an improved YJQR model based on the YJ transformation is designed to obtain a more precise characterization of wind uncertainty, providing a more flexible probability density function for wind power generation. Then, utilizing the unique structure of the LSTM network to learn the parameters of the YJQR model, temporal features can be extracted from time series data. To mitigate the impact of outliers in the raw data on accuracy and improve computational efficiency, a novel logarithmic likelihood function is developed as the loss function utilized in the training phase. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is validated using a real-world dataset from five wind farms from the Global Energy Forecasting Competition. Numerical results demonstrate that the algorithm provides more accurate wind power prediction results in complex wind power data environments, which is important for making full use of wind energy and thus reducing the consumption of non-renewable energy in agriculture. © 2024 IEEE.

Data augmentation, as a strategy to expand training datasets, can be utilized to improve the accuracy of Deep Learning(DL)-based models to a certain extent. However, existing data augmentation methods for the DL-based Automatic Modulation Recognition (AMR) task lack a theoretical basis, and the availability of these methods to different types of AMR models has not been evaluated. In this paper, we first model the transformation process from an information source to a modulation signal and analyze the parameters that influence the difference between modulation signals for the theoretical basis of data augmentation in the AMR field. Then we propose nine signal augmentation methods to generate argumentation signals by modifying the influence parameters in the amplitude domain, the time domain, and the frequency domain. Finally, we conduct a series of experiments on the public RML2016.10a and RML2016.10b datasets to evaluate the effectiveness of the proposed methods andanalyze the availability of these methods to Convolutional Neural Network (CNN)-based AMR models, and hybrid AMR models based on CNN and Recurrent Neural Network. © 2023, The Authors. Dentists judge the quality of root canal therapy for each patient very time-consuming, and inefficient, lack of quantitative evaluation criteria, easy to cause judgment errors. At the same time, the traditional method of extracting the root canal image features based on experience is difficult to accurately extract the filling area of the root canal and the tooth area where it is located, resulting in low accuracy of root canal target segmentation, and thus affecting the accuracy of root canal treatment quality evaluation. In this paper, for the real root canal treatment images of patients, the CenterNet network was used to detect the root canal target of root canal images. Then, according to the test results, the U-Net full convolution neural network was used to segment the root canal filling region and its tooth region. Finally, the segmented images were quantitatively evaluated according to the professional evaluation index of doctors. The experimental results show that the coincidence rate between the evaluation results of this method and the evaluation results of professional doctors is 83.3 %, which can better complete the quality evaluation of root canal therapy for patients, effectively improve the work efficiency of doctors, and has reference significance for the application of artificial intelligence in medical field.

This paper studies the distributed multi-agent resilient optimization problem under the f-total Byzantine attacks. Compared with the previous work on Byzantine-resilient multi-agent exact optimization problems, we do not require the communication topology to be fully connected. Under the redundancy of cost functions, we propose the distributed comparative gradient elimination resilient optimization algorithm based on the traditional assumptions on strongly convex global costs and Lipschitz continuous gradients. Under this algorithm, we successfully prove that if the number of in-neighbors of each normal agent is greater than some constant and the parameter f satisfies certain conditions, all normal agents' local estimations of the global variable will finally reach consensus and converge to the optimized solution. Detecting safety clothing and helmets is paramount for ensuring the safety of construction workers. However, the development of deep learning models in this domain has been impeded by the scarcity of high-quality datasets. In this study, we construct a large, complex, and realistic safety clothing and helmet detection (SFCHD) dataset. SFCHD is derived from two authentic chemical plants, comprising 12,373 images, 7 categories, and 50,552 annotations. We partition the SFCHD dataset into training and testing sets with a ratio of 4:1 and validate its utility by applying several classic object detection algorithms. Furthermore, drawing inspiration from spatial and channel attention mechanisms, we design a spatial and channel attention-based low-light enhancement (SCALE) module. SCALE is a plug-and-play component with a high degree of flexibility. Extensive evaluations of the SCALE module on both the ExDark and SFCHD datasets have empirically demonstrated its efficacy in enhancing the performance of detectors under low-light conditions. PG-SLAM: Photo-realistic and Geometry-aware RGB-D SLAM in Dynamic Environments

Simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) has achieved impressive performance in static environments. However, SLAM in dynamic environments remains an open question. Many methods directly filter out dynamic objects, resulting in incomplete scene reconstruction and limited accuracy of camera localization. The other works express dynamic objects by point clouds, sparse joints, or coarse meshes, which fails to provide a photo-realistic representation. To overcome the above limitations, we propose a photo-realistic and geometry-aware RGB-D SLAM method by extending Gaussian splatting. Our method is composed of three main modules to 1) map the dynamic foreground including non-rigid humans and rigid items, 2) reconstruct the static background, and 3) localize the camera. To map the foreground, we focus on modeling the deformations and/or motions. We consider the shape priors of humans and exploit geometric and appearance constraints of humans and items. For background mapping, we design an optimization strategy between neighboring local maps by integrating appearance constraint into geometric alignment. As to camera localization, we leverage both static background and dynamic foreground to increase the observations for noise compensation. We explore the geometric and appearance constraints by associating 3D Gaussians with 2D optical flows and pixel patches. Experiments on various real-world datasets demonstrate that our method outperforms state-of-the-art approaches in terms of camera localization and scene representation. This paper addresses the global consensus problem for multi-input multi-output saturated systems within a sampled-data framework, aiming to advance global consensus, manage heterogeneous actuator saturation across components, and preserve distributed characteristics by using sampled-data feedback. We propose a distributed control algorithm that incorporates a redesigned saturation function, represented as decentralized dynamic saturation levels. These levels for each agent’s dimensions are autonomously updated through an adaptive strategy, which mitigates heterogeneous saturation by carefully selecting constant and time-varying saturation parameters in it. Lyapunov analysis proves that global consensus can be achieved under the proposed control law, provided the sampling periods of all agents remain below a calculated threshold. An example is given to demonstrate the effectiveness of this approach.

The self-organized criticality is a fundamental property for organisms to perform normal functional *** large-scale biological neural network researches have found the existence of self-organized criticality through avalanche phenomenon, which is typical characteristic of self-organized criticality. However, such research method is not suitable for small-scale biological neural network, because number of neurons in small-scale biological neural network is not large enough to support the emergence of avalanche phenomenon. It has been demonstrated that branching parameter can also be used to describe the propagation of activity in the neural network. Here, in this paper, the C. elegans neural network composed of 302 neurons is selected to investigate the existence of self-organized criticality using branching parameter. Based on the obtained connectome of C. elegans, a directed graph model is constructed to simulate the gradient potential of neurons and the activity of C. elegans, then, the existence of self-organized criticality in the neural network of C. elegans is proved by using branching parameter method. Meanwhile, the result is further confirmed by analyzing the calcium activity data of C. elegans obtained from biological experiments.
