Moving object detection is usually used in gray image, and the color image should be converted to gray images to achieve detection. However, the color object can’t be described by simple gray information completely. In order to achieve automatic color moving object detection, the method based on automatic color clustering is especially proposed. Because the difference between adjacent pixels in an image is very small, the initial cluster center can be moved in the maximum distance. The proposed method can reduce the number of iterations and quicken convergence speed, meanwhile determine the number of color cluster and the location of the color object automatically. The proposed algorithm is validated in the actual system, experimental results show that the proposed method can automatically achieve color clustering for color image, while detect color objects.

Quadruped robot is considered to be the most practical locomotion machine to negotiate uneven terrain, and shows superb stability during static walking. To improve the ability to go over rough terrain, this paper is focused on the stable walking and balance control of quadruped robots. 24 kinds of walking gaits are analyzed in order to derive the most stable and smoothest walking gait. Considering the inefficiency to model a terrain by its specified appearance, a uniform terrain model is established and by means of kinematic analysis, a method to adjust the body posture and center of gravity (COG) height is presented. Simulations demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed meth- od and the improvement of the adaptation of quadruped robots on rough terrain.

The position tracking control problem of electrical cylinder in the presence of nonlinear friction load, inertia load and nonlinear disturbance due to its transmission process is addressed in this paper. To compensate all of these disturbances in the case of servo motion, active disturbance rejection control is used to make a continuous and precise transition. Tracking differentiator is used for arranging the transition process to avoid overshoot. Extended state observer is built to estimate the unmeasurable internal disturbance, parametric uncertainties and external uncertainty for a guaranteed robust performance. Nonlinear state error feedback is designed to combine the error feedbacks more reasonable. Simulation and experimental results show that active disturbance rejection controller shows very strong robustness and adaptability compared with traditional PID control algorithm.

This study aims to investigate the problem of attitude control for a spacecraft with inertial uncertainties, external disturbances, and communication restrictions. An event-triggered active disturbance rejection control approach is proposed for attitude tracking of the spacecraft. An event-triggered mechanism is introduced together with an extended state observer to jointly monitor the system states and total disturbances. The observation error is proved to be uniformly bounded. Based on the proposed control scheme,the integrated tracking system is shown to be asymptotically stable, implying successful attitude tracking of the spacecraft for the desired motion. Numerical results illustrate the effectiveness of the control strategy in achieving satisfactory tracking performance with a reduced data-transmission cost.
