In this paper the asymmetric bistable system excited by binary aperiodic signals is taken as a model and the average symbol error rate is regarded as an index to study stochastic resonance (SR) phenomenon. Firstly, the SR driven by binary signals under α stable noise is studied. Secondly, the interplay between the α stable noise parameters α, β, and the system parameters a, b, r on the resonant output effect is explored. The results show that weak binary signals detection can be realized by adjusting the system parameters a, b and r. The optimal values solved by these parameters can make the system produce the best SR effect. For a certain a or b, there is an optimal value under different α or β. For the parameter r, there is an optimal value under different α, and there are several optimal values under different β. Moreover, when α or β is given different values, the evolution laws in asymmetric bistable SR system excited by binary signals are same. The results lay a foundation for realizing the adaptive parameter adjustment in asymmetric bistable SR system with α stable noise.

In this paper, the weak signal detection under α stable noise is investigated based on bistable vibrational resonance (VR) which is driven by a high frequency signal. On the one hand, the energy of the high frequency drive signal is transferred to the low frequency weak signal when VR occurs; on the other hand, the control of stochastic resonance (SR) is achieved based on VR, which transfers more noise energy into useful signal energy. In addition, considering the requirements of real-time detection, the amplitude and frequency of the high frequency drive signal are optimized by the knowledge-based particle swarm optimization (KPSO), which takes the mean signal-noise-ratio (MSNR) of output as the fitness function, and the property that VR system produces the best resonance effect just when the valid system parameter â(B,Ω) is greater than zero as knowledge. Finally, the parameter compensation is combined to achieve multi-high frequency weak signals detection with a stable noise. Furthermore, the method is applied to the vibration fault diagnosis of a mono-crystalline silicon furnace, and the experiment results show the effectiveness and practicability of the method.

Inspired by the hunting and foraging behaviors of group predators, this paper addresses a class of multi-player pursuit–evasion games with one superior evader, who moves faster than the pursuers. We are concerned with the conditions under which the pursuers can capture the evader, involving the minimum number and initial spatial distribution required as well as the cooperative strategies of the pursuers. We present some necessary or sufficient conditions to regularize the encirclement formed by the pursuers to the evader. Then we provide a cooperative scheme for the pursuers to maintain and shrink the encirclement until the evader is captured. Finally, we give some examples to illustrate the theoretical results.

In order to reduce the memory requirement, and obtain real-time status of equipment, the paper proposed to use the the on-line random forests (ORFs) algorithm to identify sensor fault. The sample set is derived from Tennessee Eastman (TE) process. The models are updated by a group of sensor data, which are collected in each interval. As models are real-time and dynamic, the equipment could be tested at any time. Moreover, the samples obtained at previous intervals are not need to store. The results of experiments show that the accuracies of ORFs and Random Forests (RFs) are similar in sensor fault diagnosis process. And in some fast changing process, ORFs distinguishes fault types with higher accuracy, better adaptable and faster than RFs.

When traditional electro-hydraulic proportional valve or servo valve controlled systems are used to drive unbalanced external load, the hydraulic valve itself exists throttling losses. At the same time, the excess kinetic or potential energy of external load is consumed in the form of heat. In order to reduce energy loss and recycle external load energy, this paper puts forward a kind of electro-hydraulic control equipment which can recycle energy. It consists of directional valve, hydraulic motor, generator, power transformation device. In details, the directional valve is used to control the fluid direction of hydraulic actuator, hydraulic motor is connected to the fluid return channel of the directional valve. A generator is connected to hydraulic motor so that the back pressure of the actuator can be controlled by adjusting the torque applied on the hydraulic motor. In this way, the trajectory of the actuator is controlled. The mechanical energy applied on the hydraulic motor can be converted to electricity via the power conversion device, and then transmitted back to the grid. The simulation and experiment results prove that the proposed scheme is feasible.

This paper investigates the distributed formation control problem for a group of mobile Euler-Lagrange agents to achieve global stabilization by using virtual tensegrity structures. Firstly, a systematic approach to design tensegrity frameworks is elaborately explained to confine the interaction relationships between agents, which allows us to obtain globally rigid frameworks. Then, based on virtual tensegrity frameworks, distributed control strategies are developed such that the mobile agents converge to the desired formation globally. The theoretical analysis is further validated through simulations.

In the multi-platform air defense combat, platforms cooperate to achieve best effect. In the traditional air defense cooperation, assigning interception units has been paid more attention. Based on the existing task allocation model, we added the cooperative guidance and time window constraints to accord with the modern battle mode. An allocation method based on decentralized auctions is also proposed. Each platform employs the heuristic method to choose proper target and confirm the execution time, then resolve the conflict by consensus rules. This method is robust for communication network, besides it can avoid the single point of failure. Simulation results show this algorithm is significantly effective and satisfies the demand of real time.
