In this paper,a non-fragile joint state and fault estimation problem is investigated for time-varying complex networks with switching topology and randomly occurring nonlinearities under the missing *** phenomena of the switching topology,randomly occurring nonlinearities and missing measurements are described by three mutually independent Bernoulli random variables,where the uncertain occurrence probabilities are *** addition,the parameter perturbations of the estimator gain matrix are characterized by a set of zero-mean multiplicative noises.A novel time-varying estimation method is designed and an upper bound of estimation error covariance matrix is obtained by solving two recursive matrix ***,the desired estimator gain matrix is parameterized by minimizing the trace of the obtained upper ***,a sufficient condition is given to ensure the boundedness of the upper bound matrix by using the mathematical induction ***,a simulation study is given to verify the feasibility of the proposed estimation scheme.

Using multimodal technology to infer learners' cognitive processes is an important means to support personalized learning. Previous cognitive process analysis is more about subjective reasoning, and less about combining physiological signals. With the rapid development of virtual reality technology, new requirements and more immersive schemes for learner's cognitive process inferring have been proposed. Based on this, this paper proposes an immersive learning system with multimodal cognitive processes inference, which is composed of macro, mesoscopic and micro environments. The system analyzes learner's actions, emotions and attention to infer learner's cognitive process through more comprehensive and objective multimodal data. The system also combines eye movement, brainwaves and other data, and proposes a multimodal data acquisition and analysis scheme using HMD-based VR. This paper also provides an immersive learning cognitive processes inference scheme for individual online learning, offline classroom learning scenarios. © 2022 IEEE.

With rapid progress of artificial intelligence (AI), it is urgent to promote educational reform to improve comprehensive competence level of primary and secondary school students (CCLPSSS). However, educational reform is a system engineering involving multiple and intertwined factors. In this research, a system dynamics-based model of education reform is developed. Then, based on this model, a series of simulation experiments are carried out to find main factors affecting improvement of CCLPSSS. Results show that: 1) this model could simulate trends of CCLPSSS under different educational reform measures;2) Measures including teaching mode reform, development and application of AI-based new teaching method, implementation of Double Reduction in compulsory education, implementation of deepening education evaluation reform policy, and development and application of AI-based education evaluation technology could play significant roles in promoting CCLPSSS and further strengthening cultivation of AI compound talents. © 2022 IEEE.

Introduction of virtual reality technology enriches the expression of traditional games and greatly improves the sense of substitution and interactive experience of users. Realization of virtual reality is inseparable from artificial intelligence technology. In order to improve immersion and interactivity of virtual reality games, it is necessary to propose more intelligent solutions to existing technologies. This paper aims to discuss some intelligent methods of virtual reality games. Firstly, it discusses artificial intelligence means to enhance the virtual reality experience, which can improve the tracking and force / tactile interaction system of existing virtual reality games from software and hardware aspects;Then it proposes the concept of human-machine hybrid enhanced intelligence: by introducing human cognitive model to improve perception and decision-making ability of virtual reality games, so as to make interaction of virtual reality games more friendly and more real. © 2022 IEEE.

Transformer is the most critical equipment in the power system. In recent years, secondary silicon steel sheets have been used in the manufacture of transformer cores, which has caused hidden dangers in the quality of transformers. Currently, the main testing method for transformer core materials is disassembly testing, and there is no effective non-destructive testing method. Because magnetic Buckhausen noise (MBN) signals can reflect the internal defects of ferromagnetic components, this paper uses MBN testing methods to conduct non-destructive testing and analysis the side of transformer core silicon steel sheets. In the study of transformer core MBN signals, it was found that the waveform, frequency, amplitude and other parameters of the excitation signal can affect the eigenvalues of the transformer core MBN signal. The effects of excitation signal waveform, frequency, and amplitude on the characteristic values of MBN signals on the side of transformer core silicon steel sheet were experimentally studied. The research results show that when the excitation signal is a square wave with an amplitude of about 5V, excellent MBN signals can be excited. © Beijing Paike Culture Commu. Co., Ltd. 2024.

The PI controller is the most basic and widely used for the permanent magnet synchronous motor speed *** cumbersome parameter adjustment process makes it difficult for the PI controller to balance convenience and *** this end,this paper presents a new PI tuning and optimization scheme based on multivariable sliding-mode extremum ***,by analyzing the frequency domain model of permanent magnet synchronous motor,the analytical calculation formulas of controller parameters and motor parameters are derived as the initial value of PI parameter ***,a multivariable sliding-mode extremum seeking optimizer is designed to optimize the control parameters by minimizing the cost function based on the feedback error *** feasibility of the above scheme is proved by theoretical derivation,and the simulation and experimental results also verify the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed method.

In the past decades, cascading blackouts have caused serious damages to power systems and affected the normal operation of society, so it is crucial to quickly restore the damaged power system to normal state. In this paper, a reinforcement learning (RL) approach is developed to achieve the robust restoration of generators in power systems. Firstly, the performance recovery of damaged power system is modeled as markov decision process, and constraints such as line voltage and active power output of generators are considered. Secondly, a RL algorithm is proposed to search the optimal control strategy for generator units recovery. Based on the proposed restoration approach, Q-learning algorithm is employed to obtain the optimal strategy for power supply of generaors in power grids. Finally, numerical simulations are carried out on IEEE 9-bus system under different scenarios of external disturbances and certainties. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed approach. © 2022 IEEE.

Grating coupler, one of the essential devices in silicon-based optical integrated chip, is still suffering with low coupling efficiency and small operation bandwidth. In this paper, we design and experimentally demonstrate a silicon nitride (Si3N4) grating coupler with high coupling efficiency and large bandwidth. Instead of using bottom distributed Bragg reflector, metal mirror or other complex designs, a bottom silicon grating reflector based on a 220 nm industrially standard silicon-on-insulator wafer is employed to improve coupling efficiency and simplify the fabrication processes. The interlayer coupler enables the light transmission between Si3N4 and Si waveguides. By optimizing structure parameters and apodizing the Si3N4 grating coupler, a high coupling efficiency of -2.37 dB and large 1-dB bandwidth of 53 nm are obtained. © 2023 SPIE.

The rapid advancement of fundamental theories and computing capacity has brought artificial intelligence,internet of things, extended reality, and many other new intelligent technologies into our daily lives. Due to the lack of interpretability and reliability guarantees, it is extremely challenging to apply these technologies directly to real-world industrial systems. Here we present a new paradigm for establishing parallel factories in metaverses to accelerate the deployment of intelligent technologies in real-world industrial systems: QAII-1.0. Based on cyber-physical-social systems,QAII-1.0 incorporates complex social and human factors into the design and analysis of industrial operations and is capable of handling industrial operations involving complex social and human behaviors. In QAII-1.0, a field foundational model called Eu Artisan combined with scenarios engineering is developed to improve the intelligence of industrial systems while ensuring industrial interpretability and reliability. Finally, parallel oil fields in metaverses are established to demonstrate the operating procedure of QAII-1.0.

Path planning is one of the most critical links in mobile robots. Its timeliness, security and accessibility are crucial to the development and wide application of mobile robots. However, in solving the problem of path planning, the most popular A* algorithm has some problems, such as heuristic function cannot be estimated accurately, node redundancy, path is not smooth, and obstacle avoidance cannot be achieved in real time. To solve these problems, A fusion algorithm of improved A* combined with reverse path and dynamic window method (DWA-IMP-A*) was proposed. The algorithm refines the heuristic function by incorporating the reverse path. The node optimization algorithm is used to further reduce the path length. The generated trajectories are smoothed by cubic spline interpolation. At the same time, it is integrated with the improved DWA algorithm to improve the efficiency and safety of robot path planning. The algorithm takes ROS mobile robot as the carrier and is tested under typical road conditions. Compared with A* algorithm, the planning time is reduced by 54.6% and the path length is reduced by 6.37%. Experimental results verify the effectiveness and robustness of the algorithm. The research results have certain reference significance for the path planning of various types of mobile robots and the research of driverless vehicles.
