Self-anchored cable-stayed suspension bridge has highly competitive in large-span bridge scheme selection due to it combines both stress characteristics and structural characteristics of cable-stayed bridge and self-anchored suspension bridge. Based on the background of Dalian Bay Cross-Sea Bridge project, some plans with settings of lead-rubber bearing among side pier, tower and stiffening girder have been analyzed under longitudinal seismic input using the favorable shearing property of laminated rubber, damping characteristics of lead. Analysis results show that the displacement and force of controlling node and section have been reduced. The effective isolated device is obvious. © (2014) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

In order to study the surface subsidence and separation range features during the mining process in in thick seam mining of Daping mine, it takes the typical coal of mining in S2S9 face of Daping Mine, using the resemble simulation to study on it. The study showed that the subsidence amounted to less than the maximum under the geological and mining conditions, In the single-face mining conditions, when the face length is generally not more than(1/3-1/4) *** mining thickness cannot deflection in the form completely transmitted to the surface, but abound in overburden bed rock mass formed within the fracture and caving into the residual space. This research can be a reference for safety and high efficient coal mining of other working face in Daping Coal Mine.

Based on actual measurement data in Da Ping as the samples,according to the experience, and ends with calculate every factors' weight and height prediction of the water conducted zone by Matlab using the combination entropy-weight method and analytic hierarchy process. this paper introduces a comprehensive prediction model consisting of analytic hierarchy process and combination entropy-weight method. The method,overcoming weight's imbalance, gives the evaluation result better than does the single analytic hierarchy process, it is a new valid method for scientific forecast on water conducted zone.

In order to delve better what research methodology of height of water conducted fissure zone are, especially in mining of thick coal seam with soft, 3-D numerical simulationin was used to S2S9 face of Da Ping mine, it reveals the damage movement rule of overlying strata in mining roof-coal in "Three Soft" coal seam in the end. Thus it confirms the height of the water flowing fractured zone and tests the simulation result by the theoretical analysis and simple hydrology observation result. it provides a new idea for the application soft overburden in extra- thick seam mining technology. © (2013) Trans Tech Publications, Switzerland.

The dynamic compressive experiments of cubic concrete specimens under various constant lateral pressures were preformed. The lateral confining pressure in the tests were kept constant at 0MPa, 4MPa, 7MPa and 10MPa, respectively, and the tested strain rate ranged from 105/s to 10 2/s. Based on the experimental results, the influence of the strain rates on compressive characteristics of concrete under various constant lateral pressures were researched. The strength criterion in terms of principal stress and the unified strength criterion in octahedronal stress space considering the influence of strain rates and lateral pressures are proposed respectively. The fitting curves by the present strength criterion agree well with experimental data. © 2011 IEEE.

The fiber model of Dalian Bay Bridge is established with simulating plastic hinge by distribution hinge model, nonlinear time-history is analyzed by Midas/Civil based-on elastic-plastic theory. Compared of time-history results between elastic to elastic-plastic stage showed: the internal forces of structure are reduced mainly in bending moment and axial-force on tower root, because of dissipation of seismic energy inputting after into elastic-plastic stage, but longitudinal displacement increased on top of tower and middle span of beam due to the rotation of plastic hinge. After setting viscous dampers between beam and tower, longitudinal displacement of tower roof and beam has a more reduced significantly, but also reduced tower root bending moment and shearing. © 2011 IEEE.
