Analysis and Prediction of Fuel Cell Performance Indexes in Real Traffic Environment

A fuel cell’s lifetime is closely related to the performance of fuel cell vehicles, and fuel cell health management is performed based on the accurate prediction and control of fuel cells. Here, we investigate and predict the performance indexes of fuel cells based on data from a fuel cell bus operated under real traffic conditions in Chengdu, China. First, three correlative analyses are used to identify the correlation between the fuel-cell output voltage and other performance indexes during start-stop operation. Then, four gray prediction models are optimized based on a backpropagation (BP) neural network (NN). Finally, an organic gray BP NN model is established to predict the fuel-cell output voltage during start-stop operation and analyze its accuracy. Results indicate that the output voltage of the fuel cell sharply changes during startup and stop. This output voltage is closely connected with the current, hydrogen gas tank pressure, and fuel-cell electrical stack temperature. Besides, compared with the four gray prediction models, this organic gray model, based on BP NN optimization, has a higher predict precision providing a basis for the control of fuel cell hybrid system. © 2022, The Authors. The aim of this study was to elucidate the effects of different curing methods on the structural and functional properties of myofibrillar proteins and their mechanisms for improving beef quality. The results showed that the tenderness, water holding capacity and yield of beef were significantly improved after tumbling curing (p0.05) and did not have a beneficial effect on the structural and functional properties of the proteins. In conclusion, tumbling curing can better maintain the stability of protein structure and thus improve its functional properties, which can improve the quality of beef. © 2024, The Authors. This paper addresses the problems of limited algorithm operation and low efficiency in the traditional standalone mode. Combined with the mainstream Spark distributed cloud computing platform, the decision tree algorithm is improved in parallel and transplanted to the cloud computing platform for data analysis and processing. First, introduce the operating mechanism of Spark and the principle of parallel computing, and then analyze the realization basis of parallelization of decision tree classification algorithm. Finally, through the deployed Spark cloud computing platform, the test results under different parameter combination conditions are given in recognition accuracy and running time, The overall classification and recognition effect and operating efficiency have been significantly improved.

An accuracy and efficient approach is proposed to fast design ultra-wideband microwave absorbers. The RC equivalent circuit model of absorbers is established according to impedance matching and transmission line theory. The model is suitable for low and high-frequency absorbers composed of multilayer square high impendence surface (HIS) and air layers of impendence matching. Absorbers with different parameters can be fast designed by utilizing the proposed model and genetic algorithm. The reflection coefficient of RC circuit and full-simulation are in good agreement, both of them are lower than -10 dB within 2-18 GHz or 4-50 GHz (fractional bandwidth of 160% or 170.37%), with the total thickness close to the Rozanov limit. An absorber is fabricated and measured to further verify the accuracy of the model. The measured results have a good agreement with the RC circuit model, which indicates the proposed method is an efficient way for fast designing ultra-broadband thin absorbers using double-layer (or multilayer) square HIS.

An investigation of the metabolism and transfer of imidacloprid (IMI) in banana plants and soil was performed using high-resolution mass spectrometry. Results indicated the presence of eight IMI metabolites in soil and leaves that resulted from hydroxylation of the imidazolidine ring, the reduction and loss of nitro groups, and oxidative cleavage of methylene bridges. Six metabolites, including 4/5-hydroxy IMI (4/5-hydroxy), IMI olefin (olefin), and 6-chloronicotinic acid (6-CNA), were detected in the fruits following leaf treatment, while only three were detected after soil treatment. Quantitative analysis showed that the total amount of imidacloprid and its metabolites transferred from leaves to fruits was higher than that transferred from soil to fruits. Therefore, leaf transfer was considered the main means by which IMI and its metabolites transferred to banana fruits. We found that adjuvants tank-mixed with IMI could reduce the total concentration of pesticide transfer from leaves to fruits, especially reducing the amount of metabolites transformed from the reduction and loss of nitro groups and oxidative cleavage of methylene bridges, thus reducing the pesticide residue in fruits and achieving the purpose of reducing the safety risk. © 2023 Elsevier Ltd

There are many subsystems that require thermal management for pure electric vehicles, and their thermal impact mechanism is complex. Establishing a multi task model and comprehensively optimizing the parameters and architecture of the vehicle thermal management system is of great significance for reducing energy consumption and increasing driving range of pure electric vehicles. Taking the opportunity to participate in the development of a pure electric vehicle in a certain company, Firstly, this article constructs a vehicle dynamics model and a component model of the vehicle thermal management system based on the actual vehicle parameters, vehicle dynamics theory, and bench test data. Using the national standard CLTC-P cycle working condition as the testing standard, the accuracy of the model is verified, and a control strategy for the thermal management system is designed to complete the dynamic model construction of the vehicle thermal management system;Secondly, based on GB/T 18386.1-2021, the energy flow and temperature data were analyzed and compared to verify that the constructed model has high accuracy in terms of energy consumption performance of the entire vehicle under low temperature conditions and temperature control of key components;Finally, the energy consumption problem of PTC heating the battery pack is optimized and simulated using the ambient temperature threshold strategy, as well as the thermal management architecture. The results show that under this strategy, the driving range of the entire vehicle has been improved in low-temperature economic tests;The optimized thermal management architecture is more energy-efficient. © 2023, The Authors. In order to improve the uniform light ability of optical integrator, a design method of variable diameter and off-axis optical integrator was proposed. Firstly, based on the theory of scalar diffraction, the factors affecting the ability of optical integrator to homogenize light were analyzed, and the structure of variable diameter and off-axis optical integrator was designed;Then, the relationship between the aperture and the arrangement of sub-eye lenses is explored by combining semi-definite programming theory and Lagrange-Helmholtz invariant. Finally, the optimal off-axis quantity of different ring strap eye lenses is determined from the perspective of geometric optics by using the aberration theory and following the principle of edge light, so as to achieve the improvement of the optical integrator's uniform light ability. The simulation results show that: On the effective irradiation surface ф26mm of the variable diameter off-axial integrator the irradiation non-uniformity is 2.0%, which decreases by 60% compared with the traditional integrator and reduces the system energy by 45%, which meets the energy utilization requirement of the optical integrator in the solar simulator. The homogenizing ability of optical integrator of solar simulator is improved on the premise that irradiation is not greatly affected and aspheric surface is not introduced. © 2023, The Authors. In this study, a playback method for dynamic star map simulation fusing cosmic background radiation information was proposed to improve the playback speed of star maps. The image distortion effect before and after the fusion of star maps and cosmic background radiation was evaluated using peak signal-to-noise ratios. The performance of the proposed and the global catalog traversal generation algorithms without cosmic background radiation simulation capability, as well as the indicators, were experimentally compared. The results showed that the average refresh rates of the view cone filtering star map fast-generation algorithm and the fusion playback algorithm of the star map and cosmic background radiation were 74.2 and 73.7 Hz, respectively. Compared with the entire catalog traversal generation algorithm, the instantaneous stability of the single-frame star map was improved by 3.045 and 3.305 times, respectively, and the consumed time consistency was improved by 4.646 and 5.068 times, respectively. © 2024, The Authors.
