With the widespread application of digital assets and the rapid development of blockchain technology, achieving secure and efficient transactions between different blockchain networks has become an urgent challenge. Existing cross-chain methods impose limitations, e.g., hash lock technology exhibits low scalability, side-chain technology is overly complex, and notary schemes pose centralization risks. In order to address these issues, we propose a cross-chain transaction solution based on proxy re-signature technology. To tackle the centralization concerns, we employ proxy re-signature technology to decentralize the authority of notaries among transaction participants, minimizing the potential for centralization at a low cost. We further present an extended scheme that can guarantee more requirements such as higher transaction amount and shorter transaction time. Furthermore, we analyze and compare the signature technologies used in the proposed solution and provide a systematic proof of our approach’s security.

In this paper, we present a simple, flexible and effective vision-language (VL) tracking pipeline, termed MMTrack, which casts VL tracking as a token generation task. Traditional paradigms address VL tracking task indirectly with sophisticated prior designs, making them over-specialize on the features of specific architectures or mechanisms. In contrast, our proposed framework serializes language description and bounding box into a sequence of discrete tokens. In this new design paradigm, all token queries are required to perceive the desired target and directly predict spatial coordinates of the target in an auto-regressive manner. The design without other prior modules avoids multiple sub-tasks learning and hand-designed loss functions, significantly reducing the complexity of VL tracking modeling and allowing our tracker to use a simple cross-entropy loss as unified optimization objective for VL tracking task. Extensive experiments on TNL2K, LaSOT, LaSOText and OTB99-Lang benchmarks show that our approach achieves promising results, compared to other state-of-the-arts. Copyright © 2023, The Authors. The Internet of Things (IoT) collects large volumes of diverse data, with graph data as a critical component, and extensively utilizes Federated Graph Learning (FGL) to process this data while preserving data security. However, the graph data collected by different IoT institutions are relatively independent due to various factors (e.g., data collection methods, geographical locations), and data access is restricted to local environments due to privacy constraints, IoT institutions typically possess heterogeneous feature spaces. Aggregating under these conditions could potentially contaminate local graph representations. Unfortunately, most existing FGL methods tend to overlook this issue. To address this challenge, we propose Federated Graph Learning via Constructing and Sharing Features (FedCSF), a novel FGL framework designed to build a globally consistent feature space and share it among IoT institutions. To construct and extract the feature space, we employ an uniform feature initialization across IoT institutions and design an encoder to extract both global and local feature relationships, thereby facilitating effective collaboration across data from different IoT institutions. Furthermore, we introduce an independent adaptive aggregation strategy to eliminate the integration of harmful knowledge, ensuring that the contributions from each IoT institution are effectively integrated into the global model. We theoretically analyze the convergence of FedCSF. To validate the effectiveness of FedCSF, we conducted extensive experiments under various settings (i.e., cross-datasets, and cross-domains), demonstrating its significant advantages of FedCSF in terms of performance, convergence speed, and practical adaptability © 2014 IEEE.

Users have renewed interest in protecting their private data in the digital space. When they don’t believe that their privacy is sufficiently covered by one platform, they will readily switch to another. Such an increasing level of privacy awareness has made privacy preservation an essential research topic. Nevertheless, new privacy attacks are emerging day by day. Therefore, a holistic survey to compare the discovered techniques on attacks over privacy preservation and their mitigation schemes is essential in the literature. We develop a study to fill this gap by assessing the resilience of privacy-preserving methods to various attacks and conducting a comprehensive review of countermeasures from a broader perspective. First, we introduce the fundamental concepts and critical components of privacy attacks. Second, we comprehensively cover major privacy attacks targeted at anonymous data, statistical aggregate data, and privacy-preserving models. We also summarize popular countermeasures to mitigate these attacks. Finally, some promising future research directions and related issues in the privacy community are envisaged. We believe this survey will successfully shed some light on privacy research and encourage researchers to entirely understand the resilience of different existing privacy-preserving approaches. Due to the long underwater propagation delays, the underwater sink node may not receive all of the requests to send RTS and data frames from the various underwater sensor nodes, resulting in massive collisions. We proposed an underwater Medium Access Control (MAC) protocol that takes into account the long propagation delay to evaluate the performance of the carrier sense multiple access collision avoidance (CSMA/CA) protocol utilizing a loop-based single hope underwater sensor network. The proposed protocol is designed to restore multiple RTS control packets from n underwater sensor nodes to the underwater sink node in a single slot time. The sink node received multiple RTS frames without overlapping because the n underwater sensor nodes transmitted the RTS frames at the same time, but they were received at different times at the receiver end due to differences in propagation delays that depend on the distances between the n sensor nodes and the sink node. In this paper, by altering the number of underwater sensor nodes and the size of the contention window, the proposed MAC protocol throughput is evaluated by using the underwater propagation delay. © 2021 IEEE.

Named Entity Recognition (NER) technology serves as the foundation for solving many Natural Language Processing(NLP) problems, particularly in the domain of building knowledge graphs, where an effective NER model is crucial for creating efficient knowledge representations. However, when constructing knowledge graphs in the Industrial Internet security(IIS) domain, security-related incidents, as significant entities, pose challenges for existing NER models. In this paper, we propose security Lexicon Enhanced Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers(SEBERT). SEBERT enhances semantic processing by integrating security lexicon information into one transformer layer of BERT, assigning vocabulary to each character in input sentences. Then we use a Residual-Knowledge-Arnold Network(RKAN) to optimize the semantic features learned from SEBERT, utilizing the properties of residual networks to learn identity mapping features without significantly increasing computational complexity. Finally, the Conditional Random Field (CRF) is used to learn the sequence information and dependencies of adjacent labels. Experimental results demonstrate that SEBERT-RKAN-CRF model achieves superior performance in recognizing entities in the IIS domain, with improvements of 1.99%, 3.34%, and 2.66% in accuracy rate, recall rate, and F1-score compared to the baseline model.

Based on the increasing requirements for the number of hydrophone channels, sampling rate and real-time data processing in underwater acoustic signal processing, a multi-channel signal acquisition platform is designed and implemented in this paper. As an important part of the underwater positioning and navigation system, the multi-channel signal acquisition platform is responsible for implementing the control of the entire system. The platform aims to realize the collection and transmission of high-speed real-time multi-channel hydrophone signals and various external serial port signals. According to the system design requirements, this paper selects the quad-core DSP TMS320C6674 and Cyclone IV GX series FPGA as the core processing device of the platform, can realize the real-time sampling of 32-channel 200kHz sampling rate and the reception of 4 channels of serial information. It uses PCIE and Gigabit Ethernet interfaces as data transmission interfaces, and the system has a high transmission rate. After the system joint tuning, the correctness of the design of each module was tested, and the transmission rate and packet loss rate of the system were tested through a long-term copy machine to prove that the system can work stably for a long time and meet the system design expectations. © 2021 IEEE.

Vector Approximate Message Passing based Channel Estimation for MIMO-OFDM Underwater Acoustic Communications

Accurate channel estimation is critical to the performance of orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM) underwater acoustic (UWA) communications, especially under multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) scenarios. In this paper, we explore Vector Approximate Message Passing (VAMP) coupled with Expected Maximum (EM) to obtain channel estimation (CE) for MIMO OFDM UWA communications. The EM-VAMP-CE scheme is developed by employing a Bernoulli-Gaussian (BG) prior distribution for the channel impulse response, and hyperparameters of the BG prior distribution are learned via the EM algorithm. Performance of the EM-VAMP-CE is evaluated through both synthesized data and real data collected in two at-sea UWA communication experiments. It is shown the EM-VAMP-CE achieves better performance-complexity tradeoff compared with existing channel estimation methods. Copyright © 2022, The Authors. All rights reserved.

Ppt4J: Patch Presence Test for Java Binaries

The number of vulnerabilities reported in open source software has increased substantially in recent years. security patches provide the necessary measures to protect software from attacks and vulnerabilities. In practice, it is difficult to identify whether patches have been integrated into software, especially if we only have binary files. Therefore, the ability to test whether a patch is applied to the target binary, a.k.a. patch presence test, is crucial for practitioners. However, it is challenging to obtain accurate semantic information from patches, which could lead to incorrect results. In this paper, we propose a new patch presence test framework named Ppt4J (Patch Presence Test for Java Binaries). Ppt4J is designed for open-source Java libraries. It takes Java binaries (i.e. bytecode files) as input, extracts semantic information from patches, and uses feature-based techniques to identify patch lines in the binaries. To evaluate the effectiveness of our proposed approach Ppt4J, we construct a dataset with binaries that include 110 vulnerabilities. The results show that Ppt4J achieves an F1 score of 98.5% with reasonable efficiency, improving the baseline by 14.2%. Furthermore, we conduct an in-the-wild evaluation of Ppt4J on JetBrains IntelliJ IDEA. The results suggest that a third-party library included in the software is not patched for two CVEs, and we have reported this potential security problem to the vendor. © 2023, CC BY-NC-ND.
