Accurate estimation of underwater acoustic channel is crucial for reliable communication in harsh underwater conditions. However, because of the dynamic nature of the underwater acoustic channel, reliable estimation of underwater acoustic channel is difficult. To overcome this problem, we offer a new method for improving UWA channel estimations that combines Deep Neural Networks (DNNs) with Local Mean Decomposition (LMD). To efficiently understand the complicated relationships within the UWA channel data, our proposed technique integrates Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) and Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) which captures both spatial and temporal dependencies by using the capabilities of both CNNs and RNN s, allowing for a comprehensive understanding of the UW A channel properties. In addition, we use LMD as a post-processing step at the receiver. LMD enables us to extract meaningful information from noisy signals, improving the accuracy of the estimated underwater acoustic channel. We can limit the negative impacts of noise and interference on received signals by successfully mitigating noise from them, resulting in increased performance. We performed simulations to compare the performance of our proposed model with conventional underwater acoustic channel estimation strategies. Results from simulations show that our approach surpasses these existing algorithms on key parameters including bit error rate (BER) and signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). These results suggest that our technique has a lot of potential for enhancing the reliability and efficiency of underwater acoustic communication systems in complicated underwater environments. The implications of our proposed method are significant, since it allows for improved performance in severe underwater environments. Standardized big data, as a product of the combination of big data and standardization work, objectively reflects the status quo and trends of standardization work. An in-depth study of the distribution characteristics of standardized big data resources has important value for improving the efficiency of standardization. Therefore, this paper explores the characteristics of the distribution of standardization resources from the dimensions of spatial and temporal distribution, industry distribution, standard type distribution, and distribution of think tank experts through visual analysis methods. The study shows that: (1) the distribution of standardization resources in Shandong Province presents significant hierarchical and geographical characteristics;(2) from the viewpoint of the distribution of industry types and standard types, the distribution of standardization resources in Shandong Province presents a typical "long-tailed distribution";(3) the distribution of think-tank experts presents obvious "agglomeration effect". © 2024 IEEE.

Frequent data breaches have attracted people’s attention. The dark web forums have become the crucial platform for data breach transactions. While some forums are well-organized with distinct sections, such as a dedicated area for leaks where most threads are related to data breaches, others lack clear segmentation, like Fear Forum. Hackers conduct a variety of discussions there so it is filled with tons of non-data breach information and building a data breach dataset for a classifier requires huge human resources. The content of these threads is diverse and complex, spanning various fields, and containing specific terminology in the dark web. Identifying data breach threads in these forums is extremely challenging for the model. With the influx of new threads every day the static model trained on old data may not perform well when processing new data, which also brings serious difficulty to identification. To address these challenges, we first design Prompt-based Active Learning (PAL) to guide the model to identify through prompts and select high-quality samples for annotation. Then we propose a system that combines PAL and DarkBERT. Our system can not only greatly reduce annotation costs but also continuously learn and update itself with the new informative data selected by PAL. Through rich experiments on a data breach dataset, we demonstrate that our system effectively identifies breach threads and PAL significantly outperforms other baselines. We also search for the optimal prompt templates to improve system performance.

Underwater wireless sensor network (UWSN) has attracted much research interest in recent years, especially suitable routing protocols. In this paper, we design a multi-hop energy-efficient routing protocol based on data distribution. Specifically, we consider the actual underwater three-dimensional model, which results in severe energy consumption. During data transmission, relay nodes will serve for data distribution for the purpose of energy efficiency, where the nodes farther away from the surface sink node undertake fewer data forwarding tasks. The amount of data transmitted by each relay node is quantitatively related to the distance. Meanwhile, the TDMA MAC protocol is reasonably applied to the acoustic link. The simulations demonstrate that our routing protocol outperforms the reference algorithms in terms of network lifetime and energy consumption balance.

Underwater acoustic wireless sensor networks (UAWSNs) are being confess as a valuable tool for studying and monitoring aquatic environments. However, the unique characteristics of acoustic communication in UAWSNs present significant challenges. These challenges include high latency, which refers to delays in transmitting data, low available bandwidth, which limits the amount of data that can be transmitted, and a high bit error rate, which refers to errors that occur during the transmission of data. Addressing these aforementioned challenges is critical to the successful deployment and operation of UAWSNs for environmental monitoring and other applications. Contention-based medium access control (MAC) protocols are not suited for use in UAWSNs because to their lower efficiency as compared to terrestrial networks because of the distinctive attributes of UAWSNs. To address this issue, a contention-free MAC protocol is deemed more suitable, as it offers greater reliability and flexibility in overcoming the challenges posed by acoustic signals. This protocol may also increase the network's throughput and energy efficiency by removing the potential of collisions, thereby achieving high performance. In this research, we proposed a new multi-hop energy-efficient and low collision MAC protocol using Q-learning technique for UAWSNs. The proposed MAC protocol is designed to address the challenges of UAWSNs, such as low available bandwidth, high latency, and high bit error rate. By utilizing a Q-learning approach, the protocol is able to make informed decisions in selecting the optimal communication path while minimizing energy consumption and reducing the occurrence of collisions. This is achieved through a multi-hop approach that allows for efficient data transmission across the network. Manual program debugging is tedious as well as time-consuming. The high costs have motivated the development of automatic program debugging approaches, which mainly focus on helping programmers identify fault locations. Xie et al. revisited automatic debugging via human focus-tracking to validate its effectiveness. However, their observations implied that there exists interference between the mechanism of the automated debugging approach and the actual assistance needed by programmers during program debugging. To solve this problem, we propose a search-based software debugging approach based on weighted fault propagation graphs (WFPG). We firstly use spectrum-based fault localization techniques to generate a suspicious module-fault ranking list and then construct a WFPG for each suspicious program module to assist programmers in understanding fault propagation. Our approach integrates automatic fault localization and program understanding to help programmers debug. We conduct a case study to demonstrate the effectiveness of our approach, and the results are promising. © 2019 Totem Publisher, Inc. All rights reserved.

Wireless node localization is a critical need for many underwater applications, that heavily depends on mobile node position estimation. data is sent between nodes using three main methods of communication-i) acoustic, ii) optical, and iii) magneto inductive-which calls for a reliable communication link, having no impact from organic materials present in the underwater habitat, such as (dirt, sand, rocks, marine animals and plants that includes all kinds irrespective of their size). In order to address the aforementioned need for a reliable link of communication between the anchor Tx and sensor Rx nodes, we will examine magneto inductive communication. It has the ability to avoid phenomena like refraction, scattering, and multi-paths that are associated with the prevalence of unforeseen challenges and poor visibility, which makes communication in underwater networks more challenging. More specifically, we'll focus on the magnetic components (Hx, Hy, and Hz) produced as a result of the current applied to the magneto-inductive tri-directional (MI-TD) coil. That is used between the anchor Tx and sensor Rx nodes in magneto inductive communication.

The spatial-temporal random variation characteristics of underwater acoustic channel make the difference among the underwater acoustic communication network link channels, which make network performance difficult to predict. In order to better understand the fluctuation and difference of network link channel, we analyze the measured channel data of five links in the Qiandao Lake underwater acoustic communication network experiment. This paper first estimates impulse response, spread function, power delay profile and Doppler power spectrum of the time-varying channel in a short detection time, and compares the time-frequency energy distribution characteristics of each link channel. Then, we statistically analyze the discreteness of the signal to noise ratio, multipath spread and Doppler spread parameter distributions for a total of145 channels over a long observation period. The results show that energy distribution structure and fading fluctuation scale of each link channel in underwater acoustic communication network are obviously different.

To address the problem of constant beam width beamforming required for water target radiation noise measurements, a constant beamwidth beamforming method based on a vector combined array is designed. The method uses the correlation of each channel of a single vector sensor to design a vector sound intensity filter, which improves the signal-to-noise ratio of the combined array sound pressure channel data as well as the array spatial gain. The vertical array measurement system is then extended to build a vector combined vertical array to achieve constant beamwidth beamforming, achieving the directivity of a full vector vertical array while also obtaining a certain time processing gain. Simulation experiments verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Transient noise, which often occurs in the case of the sudden state change of the water surface or underwater targets, is the main source of the radiated noise for the quiet submarines and ships. This paper proposes an auto-regressive (AR) spectral estimation method based on the $\alpha-\beta$ filtering to accurately identify and analyze the transient noise. The mathematical model of the transient noise is first constructed according to inherent characteristics of the transient noise. Then, the transient signal is truncated in the time-domain, and the AR parameters of each segment data are estimated. In order to eliminate the frequency jump between data segments, the $\alpha-\beta$ filter is introduced in this method to modify the AR parameters, as a result of obtaining the time-frequency spectral with the high accurate and resolution. Finally, simulation results show the superior advantages of this method over other methods in terms of the resolution and accuracy, which is verified by the lake experiment.
