At present Auto-Tracking technology attracted increasing attention in the field of stage lighting. Most of the existing automatic lighting tracing methods adopt indoor positioning technology to acquire the location parameters of the tracing object. Then the location parameters were converted into the control data of moving light for automatic tracing. The main problems are as follows: one is the positional errors of special light position such as front light and fixed-point light. The other is the miss tracking of moving targets. In this paper, according to the projection requirements of front light and fixed-point light, the existing tracing model is improved. The error between the spot and the actual position is analyzed. Test results show that the accuracy of the upper left and upper right directions is relatively high. The bigger the curvature amplitude is, the bigger the error is. At the same time, the test data provide theory evidence for the setting of the tracing light position and the design of the performance route. © 2020 IEEE.

Aiming at improving the low interactivity of conventional stage lighting control, a gesture-based interactive control scheme for stage lighting is proposed in this paper, which uses electromyogram (EMG) signals to recognize the performers' gestures and converts them into control signals to transform the stage lighting effects subsequently. Gesture recognition, it involves the acquisition, preprocessing, feature extraction, and classification of the EMG signal. Considering the real-time performance and accuracy among the common algorithms such as support vector machine (SVM), k-nearest neighbor (KNN), linear discriminant analysis (LDA), backpropagation (BP) neural network, KNN is adopted as the classification tool. The lighting effect between gestures and stage lights is designed and realized to ensure that stage lighting interactively transforms with gesture changes. The experiment results show the feasibility and convenience of the proposed control scheme. © 2022 IEEE.

Ancient mural are splendid artistic treasures of ancient civilizations, but their blurring and destruction are becoming more and more serious due to the effects of time and environment. In this paper, a Generative Multi-column Transformer method is proposed to recover the missing areas of mural. The method synthesizes different image components in a parallel manner by transformer and enhances local details by employing implicit diversified Markov random fields regularization. Generative Multi-column Transformer is used in combination with reconstruction and Markov random field loss methods to propagate local and global information from the background to the target defaced region to reconstruct the loss in that part. The experimental results show that the method based on Generative Multi-column Transformer adopted in this paper is able to restore mural images with complex textures and missing areas very well, while the peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR) and structural similarity index (SSIM) of the method are improved, this paper provides theoretical guidance for the digital restoration of murals. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper had investigated the perception of visual comfort for the disparity gradient of stereoscopic 3D(S3D) image though subjective evaluation experiments. For the extraction of gradient features, the calculation of absolute disparity and relative disparity were all considered. The experiment result shown that the relative disparity gradient mainly affects the visual comfort under the circumstance of positive disparity, while the absolute disparity gradient would affect the viewing experience with negative disparity. As a whole, the higher both the disparity gradient was, the lower the rating score was. The research achievement is of practical value, which can not only provide importance experimental support for the visual perception mechanism, but also offer the valid basis for feature extraction of stereoscopic images. © 2019 IEEE.

It is of great significance to find out the hidden hazards of the stage machinery in advance and formulate the corresponding protective measures to improve the safety of the stage performance. A comprehensive method that integrates entropy weights and the fuzzy inference is proposed. Firstly, the risk factors are identified through Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method, with the information obtained by field survey and research. Then, the entropy weight method and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) methods are adopted to analyze the risk factors so as to obtain the probability of the hazardous events. Lastly, the risk level of different event is obtained by the fuzzy inference method. The simulation result proves that the model is reasonable, objective, and feasible.

In the context of human/equipment interaction processes, human error has become a significant factor influencing performance risk in professional theaters. To address this issue, the Cognitive Reliability and Error Analysis Method (CREAM) is integrated with fuzzy inference to assess the human reliability of theater staff and predict the probability of human error (HEP). Additionally, Grey Relational Analysis (GRA) is introduced to determine the weights of Common Performance Conditions (CPCs) within CREAM. Through this methodological framework, human reliability analysis of theater operators is conducted, enabling the prediction of human error rates across various scenarios. Subsequently, corresponding measures are provided, culminating in an effective solution to enhance performance safety within theatrical environments.

The elements in the image that can attract people's visual attention are visual attention elements. Composition is a kind of visual perception feature in the study of audio-visual fusion information processing. The balance of composition depends on the distribution of visual attention elements in the image. Aiming at the problems of poor pertinence of existing visual attention models, unsystematic classification, unscientific selection of visual attention elements and insufficient consideration of human visual perception, this paper proposes a method of visual attention elements screening based on composition. Firstly, a material library based on composition is constructed, and PAD and harmony are marked. Then, a subjective assessment experiment is designed to screen out visual attention elements based on human perception. Finally, the experimental data were analyzed, the elements of visual attention based on composition were screened out, classified and summarized.

Analyzing the timbre characteristics of different singing genres is an important issue in the field of singing acoustics. Formants are an important characteristic parameter for timbre perception, but classical acoustic formant extraction methods lack accuracy and applicability in the analysis of singing genres. In order to solve the problem of insufficient accuracy and applicability of singing formants in singing genre analysis, this paper proposes a singing formant extraction method based on peak fitting. The paper summarizes the theory and methods of extracting vocal formants and based on a large amount of experimental data analysis, proposes a vocal formant feature extraction method based on peak fitting;The effectiveness of the singing formant extraction method based on peak fitting was verified through comparative experiments with existing formant algorithms. This article provides new research ideas and methods for extracting acoustic features in singing. © 2024 IEEE.

As an integral component of modern cultural works, the role of film and television music in artistic expression and emotional communication has become increasingly significant. Timbre, as a crucial attribute of music, has primarily been studied in terms of the influence of its fundamental objective parameters on coarse-grained emotions. However, there is a lack of in-depth exploration of the association between timbre perception features and fine-grained emotion. Consequently, this paper approaches from the perspective of timbre perception features and fine-grained emotions in film and television music. By conducting perceptual evaluation and subjective emotional annotation experiments, it analyzes the correlation between timbre perception features and fine-grained emotions, confirming that timbre perception features significantly influence musical emotions. Furthermore, a multivariate linear regression model was employed to construct a fine-grained emotion prediction model, which has demonstrated good predictive ability for most musical emotions. This research provides a new perspective on understanding the relationship between timbre and emotion in film and television music, offering a scientific basis for its creation and performance. © 2024 IEEE.

Dunhuang mural images classification belongs to the research task in the field of image recognition. In this paper, the semi-supervised model is established with multidimensional features extracted by transfer learning. A small number of labeled samples were used to obtain a large number of unlabeled data, combined with Active Learning and iterative strategy for multiple rounds of label transfer of selected samples. After several rounds of iterations, we can get a more powerful classification learner. Experiments on the self-built Dunhuang mural dataset have shown that the results can approach or even exceed some supervised learning methods when the number of known label samples is less than 4%. Our research implements the cultural resource image classification algorithm based on small samples, which is conductive to improving the accuracy when label samples are scarce. © 2023 IEEE.
