The flexible organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs) has attracted a lot of attention because of its very wide and promising application prospect. The flexible encapsulation is a most problem for mass production of flexible OLEDs since their sensitivity to water and oxygen. Traditional flexible encapsulation using plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) film as the inorganic layer. However owing to the complicated pattern of sub-layer and particles, the poor step coverage of PECVD film results in bad encapsulation properties. Therefore the plasma enhanced atomic layer deposition (PEALD) is studied on account of its better step coverage and lower growth temperature. The aqueous-solution-processed graphitic carbon nitride/polyvinylpyrrolidone (C 3 N 4 /PVP) composite dielectric membrane exhibits a large specific gate electric double layer capacitance of 2.68 μF/cm 2 at 20 Hz. The indium zinc oxide (IZO) thin film transistor (TFT) fabricated on the polyethylene terephthalate (PET) substrate exhibits good electrical properties and high stability by using composite dielectric as gate dielectric. Flexible IZO-TFT has a low threshold voltage of 0.28 V, a low subthreshold swing of 149 mV/decade. Finally, an inverter with a maximum voltage gain of 14.8 is obtained on basis of the flexible IZO TFT when V DD = 4 V. These flexible oxide-based TFTs obtained using C 3 N 4 /PVP can be potentially applied in portable electronics with low power consumption.

Lossy compression is an indispensable technique in image/video processing, due to its highly desirable ability of reducing the huge data volume. However, lossy compression introduces complex compression artifacts. To reduce these artifacts, post-processing techniques have been extensively studied. In this paper, we propose a novel post-processing technique using multi-level progressive refinement network via an adversarial training approach, called MPRGAN, for artifacts reduction and coding efficiency improvement in intra frame coding. Furthermore, our network generates multi-level residues in one feed-forward pass through the progressive reconstruction. This coarse-to-fine work fashion, which makes our network have high flexibility, can make trade-off between enhanced quality and computational complexity. Thereby facilitates the resource-aware applications. Extensive evaluations on benchmark datasets verify the superiority of our proposed MPRGAN model over the latest state-of-the-art methods with fast deployment running speed.

PECVD hydrogenated silicon oxynitride (SiON) thin film, due to its excellent chemical and physical properties, is widely used in flexible encapsulation as an protective layer. However, SiON thin film cracking severely restricted the performance of the thin film encapsulation, and cannot be effectively tackled by flexible electronics industry. So improving the quality of the SiON thin film and preventing thin film cracking is crucial to flexible electronics industry. In this paper, effects of RF power, pressure, process gas on stress property in SiON thin film were studied in detail by stress meter. Therefore, increasing RF power, pressure and decreasing H_2 flow can prevent SiON thin film cracking.

This paper proposes a novel bandgap voltage reference with an accurate curvature compensation technique for completely compensating the thermal nonlinearity of the emitter-base voltage. With VIS 0.15 standard CMOS process, the proposed bandgap voltage reference circuit achieves temperature coefficient of 1.03 ppm/°C over the temperature range from -55°C to 155°C with the supply voltage of 1.8V. In addition, the circuit achieves line regulation performance of 0.02%/V with the supply voltage from 1.8V to 3V and the power supply rejection (PSR) levels are 83dB, 77dB, 58dB at ultra-low frequency (

Multi-view video plus depth (MVD) is an efficient format of 3D video. MVD video can be encoded by either H.264/AVC or HEVC standard to gain higher compression ratio, which benefits their broadcasting over the Internet. However, the encoded and transferred MVD video tends to develop worse visual quality degradation caused by lossy network channel. Therefore, error concealment is here to help refrain this problem. In this paper, we propose a classification-related error concealment method for MVD video. Within our method, motion-based classification is used to judge whether the corrupted blocks are static or not. If so, the blocks from reference frames are adopted to conceal the corrupted blocks. Otherwise, view-specific based concealment procedures, which are designed in accordance with view features, are used to conceal the corrupted blocks in different views. Experimental results on AVC-based Test Model (ATM) show the superiority of this concealment scheme to several other error concealment methods in PSNR along with acceptable execution time increase. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2017.
