To date, the studies on the combination positioning of high-speed trains have made great progress, but the positioning accuracy of these methods is relatively low. Map-matching positioning can improve positioning accuracy, but information transmission is time-consuming. Few studies incorporate it into combination positioning. To solve the problem, this paper proposes a high-speed train positioning method based on combining a Beidou navigation system, an inertial navigation system, and an electronic map. First, the combination positioning problem is transformed into a multi-objective optimization problem, which weights the direction similarity and distance error to form a fitness function and converts the railway line and the maximum error range of each positioning system into constraints. Second, an improved differential evolution algorithm is proposed to solve this problem. By referencing the gray wolf algorithm,the differential evolution algorithm updates individuals by varying toward the direction of multiple optimal values. Then, a new combination positioning algorithm for high-speed trains is proposed. In the simulation,the increase in positioning speed and accuracy is analyzed and validated. Compared to the current algorithms, the proposed algorithm performs better. The proposed method has practical value for improving the reliability and safety of train operations.

The Ethylene cracking is highly nonlinear, complex process with many constraints because of the complex running state of cracking furnace groups. For the solutions to multi-objective problems of yield, cost and benefits, this paper puts forward a biogeography-based multi-objective optimization algorithm with hybrid migration(BBMOHM). The hybrid migration strategy combines the self-adaptive migration with the simplex operator and the replication migration, which strengthens the convergence and the search ability, to avoid falling into local optimum. For the goal of utilizing the dominance information between individuals, this algorithm adopts the migration model of dominance degree to assist migration strategies improving the performance of the algorithm. Finally, experiments about the ZDT test function and the multi-objective optimization problem of the ethylene cracking process is verified the BBMOHM achieves good performance on convergence and distribution.

Many systems composed by several interacting subsystems are usually controlled by a distributed control framework. Distributed Model Predictive control(DMPC) strategy, in which each subsystem is controlled by a local MPC controller, has advantages of accommodating constraints, less computational cost and high flexibility. In order to improve the global performance and guarantee the system stability, a stabilized DMPC strategy is proposed in this paper, in which subsystems interact through inputs. At first, local initial feasible solutions are achieved based on a Minkowski functional to guarantee the local closed-loop system stabilization. And then the global optimal solutions are obtained through coordination strategy for the sake of reducing iteration time and accelerating the convergence speed efficiently. Finally, the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed scheme is put to test through simulation.

Quality-related fault detection has received extensive attention in recent years. It requires an appropriate supervisory relationship between process variables and quality variables. While the traditional principal component analysis(PCA) doesn't consider the relationships between them. Thus we proposed the mutual information principal component analysis(MIPCA) to detect the quality-related faults. MIPCA fully integrates the advantages of mutual information(MI) and PCA. With MIPCA, process variables can be utilized to monitor the process under the supervision of quality variables and judge a fault is whether related to the quality or not. Finally, the feasibility and effectiveness of the MIPCA are verified in Tennessee Eastman Process(TEP).
