An improved nonlinear adaptive switching control method is presented to relax the assumption on the higher order nonlinear terms of a class of discrete-time non-affine nonlinear systems. The proposed control strategy is composed of a linear adaptive controller, a neural network(NN) based nonlinear adaptive controller and a switching mechanism. An incremental model is derived to represent the considered system and an improved robust adaptive law is chosen to update the parameters of the linear adaptive controller. A new performance criterion of the switching mechanism is designed to select the proper controller. Using this control scheme, all the signals in the system are proved to be bounded. Numerical examples verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Recently, polyacrylonitrile (PAN) fiber films have shown greater advantages over polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) in the field of energy harvesting. Adding other substances with high piezoelectric coefficient is worth exploring to further improve the output voltage of PAN. Here, we successfully dispersed high dielectric constant barium titanate in PAN nanofiber films with different dosages using an electrospinning technology. The X-ray diffraction and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy results indicated that BaTiO nanoparticles aid in transforming PAN from a 3-helical conformation to a planar zigzag conformation, thus improving the output voltage of PAN nanofibers significantly and also promoting its mechanical properties. In addition, the human body function monitoring experiment showed a good response current to the rhythm of elbow bending, knee bending, running, and breathing. Besides, when a simple rectifier circuit was applied, the capacitor could be charged to 2 V in less than 2 min and light a commercial LED through repeated tapping.

A growing number of semiconductor photocatalysts have been recently reported to enhance the hydrogen evolution performance, but most of them need to work with noble metals. In this study, we constructed a ternary photocatalyst of Bi/Bi 5 O 7 I/Sn 3 O 4 without noble metals, which can achieve a comparable or even better performance than noble metals. Bi 5 O 7 I and Sn 3 O 4 construct a direct Z schema heterojunction due to the matched band structure, further improving the separation efficiency of electrons and holes, which greatly improves the hydrogen production performance of Sn 3 O 4 . Moreover, the superior H 2 evolution activity was achieved by metal Bi with a uniform distribution, which not only extends the light absorption range but also acts as a co-catalyst to further improve the hydrogen evolution. This work provides a new method designed for noble-metal-free photocatalytic hydrogen evolution.
